A great hotel, with easy access to the beach. We stayed with a 10 month old baby during the weekend of the Beachy Head marathon - a great service. Great location too - just by the beach, there is a community sauna (not affiliated with the hotel) just across the road - perfect location

The View Hotel lived up to its name and offered me amazing views of the ocean, just what I needed for a writing weekend. The hotel scored highest for its service. The staff are exceptional in delivering a friendly and attentive service. The general spaces were well kept and very modern. My room was somewhat dated and the chairs uncomfortable - had to sit on my pillows but the bed was very comfortable so had a great nights sleep. There was nothing about this hotel that would stop me booking again and the excellent service would definitely lure me back!!

All staff were great except for man on reception when I checked in. Left a lot to be desired from the welcoming point of view. Apart from that all staff throughout were great. Terry on breakfast reception was exceptional.

Very nice stay as before at the View. Things like the tv remote wasn't working and the tv is very old. The decor is a bit tired but is clean and very comfortable.
We only stayed one night for the Congress theatre so very convenient. Breakfast should have been included for that price, it was a good breakfast considering how busy it was.

Right on the seafront and easy to walk to town and bus stops. Well worth the extra for the sea view - brilliant. I highly, highly recommend this hotel. Thank you to all the staff.

From check in to check out this hotel is absolutely perfect. Rooms are lovely, views are spectacular and staff are great. We have been visiting at around the same time four years in a row and never had a complaint. Highly recommend.

The View hotel was perfect. The view from our room on the 7th floor was stunning. It’s a stylish, comfortable, well-maintained, spotlessly clean hotel with welcoming staff and all the facilities you would hope for. Excellent breakfast and I even had a birthday card pushed under our door after mentioning the reason for our stay. We very much hope to return in the not too distant future and would recommend The View without hesitation.

Perfect stay. Friendly and efficient service. Room was comfortable, clean and spotless. Got good view of sea and pier even though we had a side room.

The stay started badly, we booked the room months in advance and asked specifically for a room with a shower, when we arrived we were told that our room had a bath, slightly annoying when this was the only thing we asked for.
Apart from that the room was clean with superb sea view.

We found the staff at the front desk curt and unhelpful. I would recommend having them scratch the parking permits rather than handing them to guests for them to do. Also they seem put out when asking for things like laundry and ice. Also, the price for breakfast is ridiculously expensive if not purchased in advance. After staying at 3 other hotels with free breakfast this was outrageous.

Only stayed one night. Economy room was very small but otherwise very nice. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good.
Only issue was the cleanliness of downstairs public restroom. Not cleaned. Tissue everywhere. Reported.

What a great hotel, staff very friendly. Lovely room with air conditioning and a great sea view. Parked the car in the street and walked to the hotel. So quiet so had a n excellent nights sleep. Fresh and tasty cooked breakfast was a great start to my day.

Lovely hotel. Friendly staff, comfortable room. Breakfast a bit traumatic. It would have been better with table service, especially tea and coffee. I found it quite dangerous trying to get hot tea, toast etc.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Nice cosy room with balcony giving great sea views. Excellent breakfast buffet with a large enough number of staff to keep everything well stocked and in order.

I was upgraded to s doue room with balcony. The roomwas superb .y only slight quibble is that I couldn't find any drawers or shelves for clothes.

Was very disappointed with the outcome of a deal i got. I had credit of £117 to use up towards an upgraded room as i thought £189 room for 71 so opted thinking we were getting a balcony room ,it had sea view but was tiny just a glorified economy room which i could have booked myself !!! Feel this was misleading to say the least !!! Fuming !!! Will be more wary in the future used them a lot up to now !!will think twice next time .
