The Christmas market is right outside! Friendly, helpful. Clean, breakfast available in the restaurant downstairs. Replenished water every day - thank you.

I´ve stayed at this nice hotel several times, and really enjoy the comfort and location. Although, this time, my room was never cleaned/made during the 3 nights stay. Maybe sustainability, I don´t know.

The hotel is in a great location! Wonderful for sight-seeing, it was very clean, the restaurant was very busy! The only downfall was that there was no air conditioning, which made us keep the window open. Even this we could have lived with, as they provided a new fan. But the noise from outside: from sirens, to motorcycles, to an early-morning trash truck, they made it difficult to sleep. Everything was great except the noise. In a cooler time of year, these would not have been an issue.

It's in a wonderful little square, and close to the train and popular attractions. it was a little loud, and no AC as far as I saw so windows open means you're getting up when the area becomes crowded and loud, and staying up as late as the area is still crowded, which means midnight.

In all my travelling, this is the best customer service I’ve ever had at a hotel. All four members of staff (three at reception and one in the restaurant) went above and beyond to accommodate my request / just generally make my life easier. All of this was done with a smile, a sense of humour and without fuss. Genuinely such a pleasant stay in the perfect location. Couldn’t recommend more! From your guest in room 309

Hotel is located right in the centre of the old town, within walking distance of lots of sights, restaurants and shops. View of the Dom out of the window which we loved. Very comfortable room, would recommend.

Its beyond imagination why a hotel has this kind of curtains in a room. The purpose of curtains is to block light which the management of this hotel seems not getting. The entire room is lit at 6am, no climate control so had to keep a window open which means you hear all the noise from outside (several restaurants outside). Wouldn't stay here at all again.

Even though we mentioned to the reception that we stayed at the hotel for business purposes to avoid city tax, they did not bring us the form to fill but asked for the city tax instead. Their approach to the customer was not helpful. The hotel room was even smaller than they appear at the photos. Noise was easily hearable in the rooms at night.

I´ve stayed with this hotel previous years, and the staff is friendly, nice rooms with "raining spa" shower and comfortable beds. The hotel also offers a nice restaurant (good pizza), bar and when you sit outside you are in the Heumarkt and can watch the lively life.

Good hotel perfect for a night stay business.

We visited the hotel for one night our last night of a week in Germany visiting the Christmas markets. Our night was Thursday 5th December in room VI the bathroom was wonderful and very well appointed, the room itself was ok not brilliant. There were small issues with cleanliness of the room and the windows but nothing major.The noise in the room from partying is audible from the room but did not stop me from a good nights rest in a comfortable bed. We ate at the hotels restaurant and this was where i felt let down a bit. The restaurant is big and it looked as though there were numerous office parties on that night and it was packed. Fortunately we only needed a table for two and there were plenty available. However we waited patiently to be sat at out table only to be shouted at by a lady member of staff from the other side of the main area which we could not hear or understand. We were shown to our table and we made ourselves comfortable and looked at the menu. Its a slightly difficult menu to read in the low light and the fact it was in the form of a newspaper.We waited for quite a while before ordering our first drink and it was difficult to get the attention of staff who were catering for the parties. When our drinks did arrive they were wrong and had to go back. We waited again for our meal and it arrived and was delicious. Then we waited for a long while without service but eventually ordered dessert but it did not arrive and we left without it which was a shame.

We came to look at museums and churches, to eat an agreeable meal or two, and to do some none too serious shopping. We came by train to find all of the places we were looking for in walking distance, people we met were friendly, and those we dealt with in our hotel extra friendly and helpful.

Very nice and clean room, the noise from the partying outside on the street was so loud it was almost impossible to sleep.

This hotel was great!! Located in a perfect location. The staff was very friendly and offered excellent recommendations on where to eat and what to do. We got in early and our room was ready when we got there! Wonderful place to stay!

El establecimiento fue excelente, solo que habia mucho ruido de las personas en la calle durante la noche, pero la localizacion es excellente para conocer toda la ciudad caminando.

It was a good price and the room was big, great location and atmosphere.

Collone is a beautiful place to go this hotel is in a great location everything is within a five minute walk and if you do need to use local tansport its easy and convenient.

This hotel was located in a convenient place. The room was comfortable but very expensive and definitely not worth the 300 euros without breakfast which was an extra 25 euros. I presume it was so expensive because We arrived on a Monday . We went to the restaurant attached to the hotel for a meal but would advise anyone to check their bill!! There was no internet as advertised

I stay in a number of budget hotels and this one is probably the best one ever. This hotel is top-of-the line. The beds were firm, bathrooms new and well designed, luxurious linens. Everything needed was there, even a bottle of sparkling water. The location was great, close to sites and restaurants. For some the room may be small, but for me, it was plenty. The TV even had the BBC. It is an outstanding value and I will stay there whenever I return to Cologne.

Hotel has an excellent restaurant and our room overlooked a plaza. Nice view, but plaza was very noisy some nights.

The location on this hotel was perfect for me. It sits in a nice square with lots of restaurant options and was a short walk to the cathedral.
