deux grandes pièces de réception.
Les jardins offrent une impressionnante exposition d'arbustes, de fleurs et d'arbres fruitiers mis en pelouse avec deux jeux d'eau. Il y a un grand éclairage extérieur, un parking pour plusieurs voitures.
Il y a une belle cuisine moderne et ouverte avec des portes pliantes qui mènent à un grand patio avec table et chaises, donnant sur le jardin et les arbres fruitiers.
La cuisine est entièrement équipée, a deux fours électriques, une cuisinière à gaz, une hotte électrique. Il y a un grand frigo américain, une machine à laver et un lave-vaisselle. Il y a tout ce dont vous avez besoin, y compris un micro-ondes et un grille-pain, un fer et une planche à repasser et un sèche-cheveux.
La salle à manger ouverte et le salon ouvrent sur le bar et la piscine desservis par 2 grandes portes pliantes donnant sur l'extérieur. Le bar dispose d'un réfrigérateur avec des portes coulissantes en verre pour garder vos bières et votre vin au frais.
La salle à manger a une table et des sièges pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 8 personnes et le salon dispose de 2 grands canapés confortables, à côté d'une cheminée à foyer ouvert,

La piscine
La piscine mesure environ un mètre de profondeur à une extrémité et 2 mètres à l'autre. Vous avez le choix de le chauffer ou non?(un supplément de 150 £ par semaine s'appliquerait pour la piscine chauffée) Il n'y a pas de séparation de la piscine, donc pas idéal pour les petits enfants qui ne savent pas nager.
À la fin de la piscine est le barbecue.

La plage et la ville sont à environ 3 minutes en voiture. Il y a un arrêt de bus à 150 mètres ou vous pouvez marcher ce qui fait environ 1,5 km (15 à 20 minutes de marche en bas de la colline et évidemment un peu plus long sur le chemin du retour que sa montée)

Est à seulement dix minutes en voiture, nous avons des dispenses spéciales avec le club, offrant actuellement à deux personnes une partie de golf avec un buggy à 99 euros. Des clubs peuvent être loués. Ces tarifs sont susceptibles de changer.

The villa was lovely. The upstairs rooms were airy and bright and the lounge area too. The pool could do with a little TLC the steps were a bit loose and there were odd tiles falling into the pool. The villa was well equipped I would return and I would recommend.

The villa is amazing, it is clean and nicely decorated it is also well stocked with everything that you need for your holiday. The outdoor areas are well maintained. The swimming pool is a good size and is kept lovely and clean. The pool table was a nice surprise for us as there weren't any photos of it on the website.
This villa made our holiday, and we couldn't fault it in any way. John was a great host, and he gave us all the information that we needed for our stay and the welcome pack òf refreshments that were left for us in the fridge upon our arrival were very much appreciated.

This house was perfect for us, a family of 5, with grown up children. It was clean and tidy at arrival, a lovely welcome pack waited for us in the kitchen. The beautiful front garden with the flowers and the lemon tree gave a feeling of beeing on holiday far from home. The pool area is nice and the pool was warm when we were there in mid June. Remember to cover it in the evening. The location is also good, not far away from the Luz beach. We walked most of the time to the village, but it is useful to have a car to be able to go to other beaches. We also did some hiking near the house by walking through the exclusive villa areas and down to the ocean were you can follow a coast trail either east or west. Beautiful views! The pool table was a plus for our young adults.

We had a lovely stay, the villa is perfect for a family group. The downstairs has two bedrooms and a lounge which was great for our daughter and her family.
The pool area is great, sun all day. BBQ was fab, nice touch having a little fridge on the patio for drinks.
Villa very clean and a good layout. Kitchen had everything you would need. Thank you to John for the lovely touch of treats, left in the fridge for us. Very thoughtful.
Beds are comfy with nice bedding, plenty of towels and beach towels too.
About a 20min walk to the center which has some lovely restaurants. Beach is gorgeous with watersports too. Its downhill going down but up coming back, but you can get an Uber for £3.75 though if don't fancy the uphill.
Nice quiet location.

This was our first visit to Portugal and a very much needed holiday, so we were very happy to find such a lovely villa with great amenities and supplies. There were thoughtful welcome gifts that we really appreciated on arrival and during the week.
It is a spacious, well designed property with a great pool that we all thoroughly enjoyed with no fear of fighting for sunbeds as there were plenty. We paid for having it heated which we did need, so was worth it.
It was a very clean villa, bedding great and plenty of towels including beach towels.
The kitchen was stocked with everything you needed, from condiments and sauces to bags to take to the supermarket.
The front garden is private, secure, very pretty and stocked with fruit trees, giving us fresh lemons for our drinks.
John was helpful when contacted and responded quickly.
It is about a 25 minute walk into Luz from the villa to the beach, but be warned it is uphill on the way back!
This helped us walk off the delicious meals we had in the town.
We were 6 adults from age 20-60 and all thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we just wished it had been longer.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at John's villa in Luz. The villa was extremely well equipped and staged perfectly. The decor and pool were lovely, and the garden with its flowers and trees was beautiful. Located in a quiet neighborhood, the location was perfect for our needs. We have travelled extensively over the past several years and John's villa is easily one of the best we have found. We would definitely stay again.

What a great property for families. We were 2 families, 9 people in total and the facilities were great for the large number.
The villa is kitted out to a high standard and has everything that you need. The pool is excellent but deep at one end so I would recommend that kids can swim but great for older kids and relaxing adults.

Enjoyed sitting around the pool - we paid to heat it - after our hikes. Nice walk to Praia da Luz and quiet location. Bedrooms were good size, bathrooms could have been cleaner..

Fantastic Villa
We stayed in June 2022 a family with a teen and our children in their 20’s there were 7 of us and the villa was perfect. It is equipped with everything you need and has plenty of space. The town is a short walk away of around 20 minutes, the taxi service was also really reliable. The location is great. We had a day out at Slide and Splash which was great fun, we also took a taxi into Lagos for around 30 euros for us all which was also a good day out. There are plenty of great restaurants in Prai da Luz, the Saffron Indian was especially good. Would highly recommend and we would stay again.

A stunning villa!! We all really enjoyed our stay in Johns beautiful villa, the garden and pool setting in the evening is stunning with all the garden lights on.
The villa provides everything you need and more. The owner John was extremely helpful and should be very proud of his beautiful home, thank you for a lovely stay.

Stunning villa
Photos don’t do it justice. Stunning villa within walking distance of luz and Burgau. Hard to drag yourself away from the pool to visit any of the local area!! We counted 9 options for sitting to eat dinner !! Lovely fruit trees for making juice or cocktails. Highly recommend!!

Spacious villa with ample amenities
From checking in to checking out everything was very straightforward. Lots of information about surrounding area and useful numbers, a lovely 20 min stroll into Luz or a little further along the beautiful coastal path, Burgau also walking distance a little further via the coastal path but lovely views. There’s an excellent taxi service that we used regularly very reliable and was only around 6€ for 6 of us. So was able to get into Luz for evening drinks etc., with no issues - we didn’t feel it was necessary for car hire. We did a couple of walks into Burgau then sat outside the supermarket had a drink or two, did our shopping and ordered a taxi home 😊. John was very helpful when we had a minor issue with plumbing it was sorted before we even got back the same day. The villa was more spacious then we’d imagined and the amenities are plenty we really didn’t want for anything. We didn’t have the pool heated it was cold but had so much fun watching all our faces when we got in it. I’d highly recommend for a group of friends or couples and would definitely accommodate a couple of families. We had a wonderful comfortable stay and would definitely return.

House was very nice and spacious and was well equipped. Although we were only 2 there is plenty of room for a large family to be comfortable. The welcome pack was very useful, as were the beach/pool towels which were provided. We did experience some traffic noise from the nearby Luz to Burgau Road, but overall we would recommend the property.

The pool was excellent and there were plenty of sunbeds. It was good to be able to choose where to sit as there were several areas around the villa. The front garden was lovely. The kitchen was fully equipped and modern. We made good use of our hire car and the villa is ideally located for all areas. We have stayed in many villas/houses in the Algarve and Silver Coast over the years but this has been our favourite - very homely and comfortable . Excellent!

Fabulous holiday in a beautiful villa.
Loved our holiday and made very good use of the lovely pool. Kitchen is well equipped and we used the BBQ several times too. There were even dishwasher tablets and washing liquid in the cupboards, but I had taken my own, as this is rare in my experience. Welcome pack was greatly appreciated, there was even some lemon marmalade, made with their own lemons, which was very nice.
Good contact with the owner and a couple of small problems sorted quickly - the problems did not impact on our holiday in any way.
A car is recommended but we didn't have one, just did lots of walking, even my 82 year old pretty fit mother! We did use the taxi service recommended, which were usually with us within 10 minutes and were reasonably priced.
We made use of the shopping delivery service through Baptista supermarket a few times too.
I would recommend pre-booking meals out as we struggled to get in on the first night. Highly recommend Paulo's, delicious food and reasonable, went back again and had the same meal!

Wonderful Villa
A lovely and very practical villa which was perfect for a large family. The villa was well equipped and the pool was great, especially for the children. Luz centre and the beach are around a 20 minute walk from the villa where we had many lovely meals in the different restaurants. A fabulous 2 weeks!!

nous étions 2 familles (4 adultes et 4 ados) et avons passé un séjour parfait dans la villa de John (17 jours)
Les photos de l'annonce correspondent exactement à la réalité.
L'organisation de la villa est bien pensée : au rez-de-chaussée, cuisine, salon, séjour, toilettes et une nouvelle chambre que nous n'avons pas utilisé. Au 1er, 1 chambre parentale et une chambre avec salle d'eau en face : c'était l'étage des parents. Quant aux enfants, ils occupaient le sous-sol (lumineux car accès par une baie vitrée à l'extérieur) avec 2 chambres de 2 lits d'1 personne et 1 salle d'eau.
L'équipement de la cuisine est fort complet, la piscine agréable et de bonne taille, la literie très bonne et le jardin sur le devant de la villa très appréciable, surtout les citronniers.
Le contact avec John s'est fait exclusivement par mail, mais tout est bien organisé pour l'arrivée et la prise en main de la villa. A chaque occasion, John a su être réactif et efficace à nos demandes. Par ailleurs, la piscine est entretenue une fois par semaine, le linge de maison a été changé une fois sur notre séjour et le jardinier est passé également une fois par semaine.
Tout ce confort d'utilisation fait que l'on se sent vite comme chez soi et chacun y trouve rapidement ses marques.
La ville de Luz et son centre se situe à 25' à pied (en descendant!!! attention au retour, ça grimpe)
Une belle plage , des petits commerces et des bons restos
Si l'occasion se représente, nous n'hésiterions pas un instant à recontacter John pour louer cette villa

Lovely modern Villa in nice neighbourhood
Villa was one of the best looking on the street. As we pulle dup we saw the beautiful front garden area and a tree bursting with huge fresh lemons, which we made use of. There was a good welcome pack of food and drink when we arrived and all the rooms were well kept and it looked recently modernised. The pool area was a bit tired and the sunbeds could do with replacing, two of them snapped and broke during our stay as they were old and brittle. The owner told us that these would soon be replaced. John was always at hand to answer any queries and the Pool guy was extremely friendly and helpful . Even mended my mothers wheelchair for her! I would recommend staying here. The walk to the beach is about 20mins downhill but is a little tougher walking back. There was a nearby cafe which was really good. Overall a great holiday.

Fantastic modern villa
Very clean modern villa, 10-15 mins walk to Praia da luz centre. About 50 mins drive from the airport and straight forward to find, mainly 1 road for majority of the way. Outside area is a sun trap, no need for the pool to be heated the water is very warm especially compared to the sea! Would recommend Saffron Indian restaurant in Luz. Overall we would highly recommend this villa for a relaxing break away from the hustle and bustle. Thanks!

Absolutely beautiful villa
The villa was absolutely beautiful so well presented and equipped with absolutely everything you need, we spent alot of time around the pool and enjoyed every moment of our stay the gardens were beautiful and the bedrooms were amazing, the children loved the pool and the area where the villa is located was amazing, we shall definitely be returning, thank you for an amazing stay

Perfect throughout
Everything about the villa was perfect, it was extremely well appointed, the beds were very comfortable, it was very spacious and everywhere was spotlessly clean. There was a very generous welcome pack, very much appreciated. The front garden is beautiful, a relaxing place to sit and the pool area is attractive especially at night with the garden light illuminated. A car would be advisable as the walk to beach, shops, restaurants is probably about 20 minutes and uphill on the way back.
We would definitely come back to this villa.

Amazing holiday
Just back from a brilliant time staying in this villa. 2 weeks with me, my wife and our 6 month old baby and then various grandparents for a few days at the end.
We could not recommend this villa highly enough. Spotlessly clean, everything feels new and well looked after, loads of space for different family 'groups', amazing pool, beautiful garden and lemon tree.
The area is perfect too - 25 minute walk to lovely Luz and a short drive from so many beautiful towns and beaches.
Communication with the owner was superb throughout.

Great villa and pool
Fantastic villa and pool area in a quiet location.. could not get the kids out of the pool! Maintained well and the gardens with the fresh lemon trees were lovely. Welcome basket of essentials was a lovely touch when we arrived. Everything that you needed was there. We didn’t hire a car this year but would next time.. quite an uphill walk on the way back from the centre of luz but soon got used to it (and worked off all the meals out!). Only 1 hiccup that John sorted quickly so didn’t impact on our stay. Great local English bar (bar Carib) nearby that did a great barbecue on a Sunday .. only a small walk if you cut through the alleyway at the top of the street. An excellent, well equipped property for our party of 8.
With a lovely shady garden at the front of the property, and a sparkling pool at the rear, Vila Christina had everything we could have asked for. There was good separation for the children in the downstairs lounge (if required) whilst the adults could be on the middle floor which is adjacent to the pool and the outdoor bar/seating area.
