Beautiful property, so lush and green. We loved our stay, the staff was friendly and very helpful. The restaurant was delicious and staff very attentive. The pool was also great. My favorite part of our stay was the resident cat, she was very cute!

Staff was the best I’ve had in my month long stay in Mexico

Historic building. It is in a convenient location. Our room faced a busy street, but it was quiet at night. The staff were amazingly helpful. The restaurant staff were also wonderful and the food at the restaurant delicious.

We LOVE this sweet hotel! This was our first time staying here, and everything was perfect. My daughter and I stayed in the room with twin beds. It was much more spacious than it appeared in the pictures, and it was impeccably clean. The room was well-appointed, staff was friendly, grounds were lovely. There were festivities going on in the Plaza de Armas, in preparation for el dia de los tres reyes magos, and it was nice to be in close proximity to enjoy it all. We can't wait to come back!

PRO; 1) Charming romantic room with MANY beautiful details 2) easy access to Cuernavaca Zocalo; CON: 1) hotel street dark & deserted after 6 pm, as single female traveler, I felt unsafe 2) No hotel concierge to assist with cuernavaca turístico needs i ) was unable to find a tour of Cuernavaca that originated in Cuernavaca ii) unable to find a realtor to assist with familiarization of rental & purchase options to fit my parameters.

Lovely boutique hotel with a quaint, colonial vibe. Our room entrance was in a gorgeous courtyard next to the restaurant and was cute, quiet, and comfortable. We felt safe and valued as guests, and the restaurant serves a tasty breakfast that is worth trying. Great location in downtown Cuernavaca near all the museums and shops, as well as friendly staff and service. Great choice.

We spent four nights at Villa Bonita, allowing us ample time to explore Cuernavaca and the surrounding areas. We have been traveling in Mexico for over a year, and this property is the best small hotel we have been to. The property is historic, charming, tastefully furnished and well-maintained. Everything in the room was as advertised. The room was very clean, the bed comfortable, and the bedding and towels were great quality. The hotel is centrally located within easy walking distance to all major sites in Cuernavaca center. It is on a side street that is very quiet, and very clean and safe. We often returned after 9 pm and never felt unsafe there. We had an included breakfast served by an on-site restaurant. They provide good quality Mexican dishes and have absolutely fabulous staff. The hotel staff was also super nice, attentive, and ready to accommodate our requests. If we ever returned to Cuernavaca, we would stay at Villa Bonita without any hesitation.

Was very pleased with our stay at this hotel. It is super cute, has lots of character and is also very well kept and clean. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast each morning was delicious! Very walkable to many tourist spots and lots of good food and shopping is very close. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

La recepcionista que nos hizo el check in fue súper grosera, pero todo el Staff fue muy amable y cálido. La ubicación del hotel bien, pero la habitación sin privacidad, estaba a un lado de las mesas del restaurante, del bar y del baño común del hotel. Es un lugar ruidoso, había una máquina que hacía se escuchaba todo el tiempo y no permite descansar. En general el precio es alto para lo que ofrece el lugar.

A wonderful and quaint hotel in the center of Cuernavaca. The restaurant has outstanding food and their Sunday brunch is very nicely done. The owners, Mario and his lovely wife Rosie make sure your stay is as fantastic as possible.

Villa Bonita is situated on the loveliest street in Cuernavaca Centro, a stone’s throw from the Robert Brady Museum. The staff is so friendly and the restaurant serves an amazing Sunday brunch. The view to the interior garden is lovely.

Todo estuvo muy bien

This is an excellent place to stay for a visit to Cuernavaca. The location is centrally located yet quiet, the staff is friendly and warm. I felt like a very welcome guest. The breakfast is delicious. My room was spotless and received careful attention each day. The front desk staff was helpful with suggestions for places to visit and Bus routes. I like that the tap water is treated and potable so I could refill my water bottle. The bed was comfortable, water hot, and air conditioner worked well. For early risers the 8am breakfast may be a bit late for coffee or tea. I was able to request earlier tea to my room, and found it a good place to sleep in and have a later start then usual.

This was my second time staying at this lovely hotel. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The included breakfast is made to order and is served in the very pretty courtyard. It is a very popular restaurant and was very busy for both of our days, but we were still treated with excellent care. The location is perfect. The beautiful Robert Brady house is across the street (currently still closed) and there are nearby restaurants. The street is busy during the day but nice and quiet at night.

Short overnight stay between Taxco and MEX. Loved my twin room with big screened in window, it was like sleeping in a tree house! Bed and bedding was sooo comfy, wish I'd been able to stay longer. Lovely, quiet street with good sidewalk cafes nearby, without being in the traffic and congestion of nearby zocolo. Young people at reception all spoke some English. Everyone very nice and helpful. Very clean.

Beautiful boutique minutes from el Zocalo, you can walk and not have to drive anywhere. The staff was incredible, from the kitchen, serves, reception, valet... simply incredible. Rosita, was the best taking care of us during our stay. Muchas gracias por hacer nuestra estancia muy amable.
