The accommodation was beautiful and the location (beach side) was amazing!!My daughter enjoyed the indoor pool, however we were unable to enjoy the outside much due to the extensive construction that was happening just next door (both sides) of the pool. We were not notified of the construction that was happening in the lots next to the pool and just outside our apartment. The construction started at 6:30 in the morning in one of the construction sites, they were using an estimated 30 metre drill to make holes/supports for the new apartments going in and then filling them with concrete and metal. There were cranes, cement mixers, diggers, drill etc. On the other side they were using angle grinders, cranes and other power tools. When we asked the manager about the construction, we were brushed off. I asked why we were not notified about the construction and were brushed off again and spoken to in a quite demeaning manner. There was no information, compensation offered and no change of room offered either. The apartment was beautiful, however their communication and customer service was very lacking.

Very convenient and clean apartment with a lovely team on reception. Apartment was a little dated but still clean and met our needs for the trip. Lovely facilities including swimming pools and tennis. Would recommend for a clean and convenient base to explore with lovely ocean views in the 7th floor and higher apartments.

Amazing views from every room!
Standard rooms need a referb, but are clean and bright with good beds.
Two pools is perfect for if the outside one is cold and the beach is literally across the road.

The TV in the lounge room did not work and the internet was terrible and cut in and out the whole time.

Views were exstordonary. The place was exactly how listed. A few concerns. Couches were worn out and need replacing. Ice trays were cracked and not usable. The master shower, you cant shut off the hot water. It drips and drips causing wasted water. With all that said. I would rent this unit again.

Didn't like the work taking place in front with two new high rises going up, all the road works on the Gold Coast highway which we understand will be there for quite some time.

Apart from the noise from the tram road works, construction work and refurbishment work next door, we had an awesome stay. Overall the apartment was comfortable, spacious and cozy. Amazing beach and walking distance to centre.

We booked a Premier 2 bedroom for a 5 night stay & we were so lucky to be upgraded to a 3 bedroom apartment. The views were spectacular & the apartment so spacious & clean with everything we needed for a wonderful stay. Special mention to the office staff who were so helpful, we even managed to get an early check in. Would highly recommend staying at 2nd Avenue Burleigh.

Property and staff were great. Lots of construction around which was noted on their website so good communication there. They had the parking area unavailable for a week so had to find parking on the street which was very limited which did let the stay down a bit. Other then that was great

The apartment we had 23A was tired and defo in need of a full refurbished, including carpet and furniture. All beds were uncomfortable. Both attempts at a fold out bed were uncomfortable, our 12 year old slept on the couch instead. Someone building renovations were handled well. Staff on front desk polite and helpful. Views amazing, pool convenient, parking easy and great location with walking distance to beach, cafes and restaurants. All the above was reflected in the price - next time we’d ask the question when the apartment was last updated and the beds replaced. Back home tonight and looking forward to a restful nights sleep.

Apartment was lovely. Building works and road works around the apartment block, but we knew about this prior to our arrival, and wasn’t a problem to us
Our only issue was the owner of our apartment took over our allocated parking spot 2 days into our stay for the rest of the week. We were allocated another space, but we feel that this should not have happened. We paid for the apartment with an allocated parking space. Luckily we arrived back to the apartment during the hours that the reception was staffed and so could sort out an alternative parking space. If we had arrived out of hours, we would have been at a loss as to where to park.
Our thoughts are that the owner rents out this apartment and so should NOT then park his car in the allotted parking space for that apartment

Great spot in Burleigh Heads. Fantastic view of the beach. Short walk to Main Street with shops and places to eat. Great indoor and outdoor pool.

The building is going through renovations but our first room (2 bdrms 2 bathrooms) was not a renovated one and had visible water damage through the wall from the shower in the main ensuite and heavy black mould around the 2nd bath. But they moved us at our request into a fully renovated room and we had a wonderful space without any mould. So, I would say their upgrade is going to be fantastic! Of course, it is noisy outside at the moment because so many other hotels are being upgraded totally on the street, too. And a new one has just been started right out front. By next year this will be an amazing place to stay. Enjoyed the beautiful view and the noise stopped by 3:00pm every day. Had a very relaxing time. Loved the exercise circuit along the beach boardwalk. Fun exercise equipment permanently set up. Absolutely loved being so close to the beach!

The view was amazing and the apartment was also to a high standard. Access was easy and the allocated basement parking made life very easy. Although we only used it a few times, the pools were so clean and very nice to use. My only negative point is that there was a spare roll of carpet in one of the wardrobes and there was also a drawer missing but these were minor points compared to the apartment overall.

We only stayed Friday night till Monday morning. Definitely do not stay Mon to Friday as the renovation noise (jackhammers) is unbearable. We had a lovely stay then Monday 8am you had to go out. Whole building was affected by noise. No chance anyone could rest or sleep or relax in apt. Aside from that I imagine price would double per night when renovations complete. Lovely spot.

Good location, great sea views. Good indoor pool, outside pool was too cold to swim.
Flat had all the commodities like washing machine appreciated for families.
But our flat needed a soft refurbishment.
Also Quilts would be appreciated for winter.
Noisy because of busy highway at the back of property. Property would need a ramp for suitcases and pushchair.

Whilst the apartment itself was a bit tired, it had everything you needed for a great family holiday and a fully functioning kitchen which made making meals easy. The location is fantastic with the beach directly across the road, restaurants a short walk away and great parking for when you do day trips elsewhere.
