Property was great nuce relaxing and peaceful

What a wonderful weekend away for our anniversary, the seclusion where this property is, the warm welcome from Jack as we arrived to check in, to the secluded path to get to our Gumnut cabin was just magnificent. Peace and quiet was the first thing we noticed, lovely food stocked up in the fridge, coffee machine, gentle music playing. What a beautiful cottage, we stayed 2nights and had a relaxing fantastic time away from the world. The couples massage by Marnie and Amanda recommended by Jack was truly amazing, in the comfort of our cottage too. All in all, if peace and quiet, rest and relaxation are on the menu for you, give Jack a call and leave the rest to him. Thank you Jack and Lana, we had a fantastic weekend. Cheers Rick and Melissa.

Loved the rainforest setting, open fire and spa bath. The owner/manager was very helpful & available at any time. The property was located between Montville & Maleny with their restaurants, shops, galleries and cafes so plenty to see and do.

Great location! Close to neighboring towns for shopping, dinner and lunches.

So quiet and didn't see anyone

It was an amazing ng stay. Great host, wonderful welcoming and very generous. Loved our hideaway cabinet. It is exactly like the photos even better. Definitely will go back and will stay even longer than only a few days.

The facilities are dated and look tired. The walkways are scruffy No Netflix BBQ very old Spa bath did not work Staff were good and helpful

Beautiful peaceful weekend escape.

Tidy cabin with a fantastic outlook that takes in beautiful sunset views. We first stayed here about 4 years ago and felt that it was looking a little tired and could do with an update to furnishings and a thorough clean. Smelt strongly of smoke from fireplace Great location to explore the beautiful region

If you want to disconnect and unwind Huncy Hideaway is the place to do it. Loved our stay, everything was provided and would definitely stay again.

We have stayed at Hunchy twice now and loved both stays. The super private cabins and perfect for relaxing and unwinding. We also love the walk down to the private waterfall.

Great accommodation and friendly greeting. Lovely breakfast provided and scones and cream. Didn’t go out for dinner. Stayed in n and cooked and sat down n front of the fire. Very romantic setting and very comfortable bed. Great spa. Highly recommend.

Was amazing surrounded by bush so you can forget about the worries of everyday life.

Needs a lot of refurbishing in the bathrooms , no wifi when it was added on their website and Expedia website and only satellite tv, for the cost of it per night could be a lot better

Beyond perfection!! Everything about Hunchy Hideaway was beautiful! The log cabins, fireplace, hampers, spa, furnishings, view ......... absolutely magical!

My husband and I stayed for our wedding anniversary. We were greeted at the door by a woman who did not introduce herself, however proceeded to berate us for booking through hotels.com as 'they take 15% of our money' and sounded disgusted by how much we were paying. I gave her my credit card immediately as she seemed a bit out of sorts - later discovered by a business owner in Montville this was the owner. Offered DVD's to watch if we wanted, grabbed 4 in case we needed over our 3 night stay, by reading the back of the DVD. All were pirated movies with the incorrect plot / theme on the back of the jacket / case. Two couldn't be watched as they froze within the first five minutes, and one kept coming up with a 'Property of .....' every 10 minutes at the top of the screen. Upon requesting more toilet paper (1.5 rolls in the room) was told that her husband doesn't use that much. Laughed it off however didn't feel we could ask for any more candles so went and bought our own. The room / cabin was lovely, a bit of maintenance so the toilet rack and toilet roll holder don't seem to be falling out of the wall would be suggested. If you could stay there without interacting with the owner it would be bliss. Not walking distance to anything, but a nice secluded spot. Can hear the neighbours easily so go in off season or mid week if you don't like to hear others talking.

Panorama cottage at Hunchy Hideway is fantastic for a romantic getaway and very private.

My wife and I had a fantastic 4 days away during the school holidays. It was a quiet place, easy to get to and enjoy some time away from the everyday routine. Great place, very handy to Montville, Maleny and other areas. Excellent food choices nearby, nice walks or just stay in with adequate facilities to do your own cooking. Very comfortable bed, fireplace and spa. Very happy stay, would definitely return and recommend to others!
