Nice hotel. The pool needed cleaning and the bathrooms are small, but other than that I was satisfied. The beds were comfortable with good firm mattress. Water pressure was okay.

I gave this hotel a 2-star and not a 1-star because of the amazing view of the ocean. Otherwise the room was dirty. The toilet was dirty and there was a dirty towel in our room. The walls around the light switch and toilet paper was dirty and you can tell hadn't been clean in awhile. The only staff that was friendly was the shuttle service. The buffet food wasn't good either.

I cannot emphasize enough how wonderful this place is! It’s the best of both worlds: a breathtaking view of the bay and a quick shuttle ride to the beach. And, as a Wyndham guest, you have access to the Langosta Beach Club. We hung out there on two different days, swam in their pool and at at their restaurant. The staff were the most friendly and kind I’ve ever met. They are genuinely happy to assist the guests.

The view and the hotel location is unmatched. You feel secluded and safe looking over the beach and the city. the infinity pool is relaxing and gorgeous. I felt so at peace here, so relaxed and away from the confusion that be downtown. this was my favourite stay the whole trip and it completely made my trip a lot better! Next time i wont even hesitate and ill book here in a heartbeat!

Highly recommend this hotel if you are coming to Tamarindo. Plus ppint for the exceptional service we received. The rental car had a flat tire at the end of our stay and could not reach the rental company. The hotel staff was super helpful to get things situated for us. Great experience!

The views are amazing! The restaurant has good food for the days you don’t want to go to town. The shuttle is always on time! Amazing experience!

Excellent ocean view but not accessible to water. There is a shuttle service every hour to go to downtown.

Rooms are showing wear dmd tear but the staff are so wonderful and the spa and restaurant were lovely

Nice breakfast

Comfortable beds, clean, breakfast was great. We didnt' eat any other meals. Safe and close to everyting if driving. I would not want to walk the hill. but that is what gave the beautiful views.

The properties view for the price is unbeatable. Would book again purely for the view. The breakfast in the morning was great. Some main staples every morning with a few changes to keep it different. The pool was great. Pool is showing some signs of needed to be resurfaced but it was great none the less. The hotel is not within walking distance of downtown so place to drive or take the shuttle (I did not take the shuttle but it runs often and quick so not hard) (parking downtown was very easy with my rental car) - I did not eat dinner at the hotel but I ate at Mercadito - great, Flying bull - great, and Patagonia steakhouse - great. All solid food. I thought Flying bull was the best (closed on Tuesdays) that had a generous prices and great exchange rate for USD. Mercadito on taco Tuesday was a great great treat deal for tacos. I found Tamarindo to be redundant and boring but I did go surfing which was fun. I feel like I did myself a disservice as Tamarindo is known for its night life and I was there Sunday - Wednesday. Prior I was in Santa Teresa which was terrific.

Definitely the best part is the infinity pool and stunning ocean views! Every room faces the ocean, and it's super quiet as you are up on a hill overlooking the town. I went back and forth about staying here vs Diria, but def made the right choice. The beds were the most comfortable of the 4 different hotels I stayed in CR.They have a shuttle that goes to town and also to Langosta Beach club which you have free access to (5 min drive). I had a car, however, so drove myself to town. My only disappointment was the breakfast buffet. Not many choices for a 4/5 star hotel. Their lunch and dinner menu were more expansive. Overall, would stay again!

Location great location up on a hill and away from noise. Infinity pool is awesome because nice view of ocean. Breakfast was good but needed to change it up more....eggs got boring. Clean room but very weathered...needs paint job and a screen on balcony door...cant sit out at night...too many bugs get into room. I had a small bug issue and i spoke with frontdesk but nothing was done. Spa was not a spa...just a room and hotel combines services so I got a mascial. I feel that i did not get a true facial service. Frontdesk needs to learn hospitality. Location location is best feature .

Great views and shuttle to shopping and private beach

Perfect location, great amenities, and the hospitality was far better than I have ever received at a Wyndham property. We will be staying here again. Thank you for such a beautiful and relaxing stay.

This hotel is amazing. Great staff especially Brian! The rooms and pool outstanding d great for sunsets. The pool bar is amazing with the nicest bar tender ever! We will come back to this place. EST in Tamarindo

The staff is super friendly infinity pool was very nice ! It is not on the beach, but they have a shuttle that takes you to the beach. The food was also very delicious which is rare for a restaurant hotel. It had a really nice view

Pros - gorgeous view, friendly staff, awesome beach club, good pool and restaurant. Breakfast included and there is a free shuttle to town and beach club. Oh and the hotel cat Ruben was friendly and adorable. Cons - no matter who or how we asked, we never got enough towels. 2 adults would get a small bath towel, 1 hand towel and a bath mat. Once we got a washcloth. Also we had an accessible bathroom and there was no space for anything. even put a glass on the sink. No shelves. No hooks behind door. Not sure if non accessible rooms are the same way or if it’s just the accessible room. We’d still stay there again though!

Were here last year and this time we were disappointed in the first room. Broken lamps, cigarette burns on the curtains and AC didnt work. We were given a new room but very small and no King Bed. Restaurant is great and breakfast buffet was excellent!
