Wish I would have stayed at an airbnb. The room had three doors (access points) to room. One of which was unlocked. The sliding glass door did not lock which was a security concern. The toilet barely flushes. The music from neighboring clubs was going all night long, people racing or motorcycles all night. The absolute worst part.... the HEAT!!!! the mini split was either too small for the room or it needs to be repaired. We were hot AF in the room all night. It took us to close the bathroom door to try to cool off the room faster only to open the bathroom door and get hit with a heatwave.

The staff were absolutely the best! Friendly, resourceful and always smiling and happy! The first week of our stay was great…i asked the staff to make me hard boiled eggs instead of the typical menu they had and they accommodated my request as i prefer hard boiled vs scrambled or omelettes. Rooms were clean. Not a fancy hotel, but it didnt matter to me as i was only in the rooms to wash up, get ready and sleep. Bonus was a full fridge/freezer so i could store cold beverages and or freeze ice cream. My only comment is that the rooms can be updated, add a cook top if guests wanted to cook/warm up a meal instead of using a microwave, kitchen tea towels would be an asset. Security was a must on our list and we felt very safe at the hotel. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay very much!

This was a good place to spend a few days at Coco Beach. Easy walking into town. The room was clean and the staff was very helpful. Included a full breakfast buffet. A nice pool on the property when we weren't at the beach.

We checked in and found out the reservation was for one bed...not 2 beds (girl friends' trip). Esther, in reception, worked with us an d gave us an absolutely wonderful room!
FYI, on Mondays, their restaurant is closed. Esther gave us an amazing recommendation, walking distance away, and we had a delicious dinner!

This is a very nice place to stay at a very reasonable price. The rooms were basic but clean and had everything you'd need. The included breakfast was very good as was the service. The pool was not large but nice. The hotel is a 2 minute walk to the center of town and 6 or 7 minutes to Playa Coco.
The only small drawback is the occasional noise from the nearby road.
I definitely recommend this hotel for a budget minded traveller.

What a beautiful place to be and to stay!! The staff here is by far some of the best I have experienced. They are so caring and thoughtful, especially Carlos, he went way above and beyond to make we had an amazing and comfortable experience. If your looking for a place close to all the excitement but far enough away to relax and enjoy… This is your place!!! Had an incredible time here and can’t wait to come back!!!

Room was clean, liked amenities for our last night in CR. Nice to have kitchen. Overhead lights are too bright and would be nice to have lamps. Breakfast was ok and would be nice to provide more options especially for those with allergies (gluten, dairy, milk, butter, etc.)
Was nice that Hotel Colono is not on the Main Street and included security and parking.

We stayed four four nights and were very pleased. The room was spacious and comfortable and very clean. Breakfasts were varied and more than sufficient. The pool is small but perfect for cooling off from the heat. Overall, the hotel is conveniently located but far enough from the main strip and small enough so as not to be too noisy. Good value.

The hotel is newer with air conditioning in the very spacious rooms that had a very nice kitchen area, the dining/lounge area was a bit small but nice over-looking the pool. The reception is tucked around the back of the hotel in a small office. No elevator so only stairs to the second floor. Rooms face the pool and dining area and there was loud music playing late into the evening, past 10pm. All that could be heard was the boom boom of the bass. Very duruprive

Good location, relatively quiet despite being close to the town center. Very poor interior lighting (e.g. difficult to see when shaving). Also, note that the main window in the room is facing the corridor so privacy can only be ensured by closing the curtains.

This isn’t an amazing hotel but not a bad hotel. It’s meh. They have breakfast included which was nice and have a decent pool. But the hotel itself isn’t anything to write home about.

Clean, safe property. Close to all the action in Coco Beach, but just far enough away to be nice and quiet. Worth noting it is a 10 - 15 minute walk to the beach frim the property. The pool and the breakfast buffet were outstanding.

Check in was allowed early, problems with AC in room so after some quick maintenance was completed and left for a couple hours to test, still not good so was moved to another room with no issues. Front desk staff were great in handling the issue. Room came with breakfast, variety of choices, great and friendly staff. Only issue had was noise on a Friday night as there is a club next door and even though there was hardly any people in there the music was VERY LOUD till around midnight. The previous 2 nights there was quiet. Stores across the street and plenty of food to choose from within 2 to 14 min walk. Would stay again, just not on a weekend.
