Stay was great. We would surely stay here next time we come to visit Tadoussac

My friend and I stayed in this beautiful, well maintained property while at Tadoussac. The owner, Mdm Ella (Bella) is truly an amazing host, super kind and helpful. The rooms are very beautiful, comfortable and decorated with great taste. The place is so quiet and serene. The price is the best in all of Tadoussac. This is a charming little inn. Great location, decor and attention to detail. Very comfortable, although I did have the largest room and I believe the only one with a private bathroom. The hostess was very friendly and enthusiastic. I would definitely recommend this accommodation.

Everything was perfect for a quiet and enjoyable escape

Very comfortable and clean, friendly and helpful proprietor.

We received a warm welcome even though we arrived quite late in the evening. The next morning we were given a second welcome, with info about good places to eat and local amenities. The gite is very clean and the owners and staff are welcoming. The gite is close to the tourist area and features a second floor balcony so we could sit and "people watch" or read our books or have a drink and snacks. There is a lot of parking, hot water and the common areas are large. The hosts have thoughtfully provided useful items like plates, bowls, cups, kettle, etc. for guests' use. This is a great place to stay, but I would not recommend it for people with small children... there are too many fun decorations. Also, for older people, there are stairs and many area rugs.

This property is a standard B&B. The owners are very hands off, as a matter of fact we never saw them except on checking in when they gave us our key and a quick overview of the town. The room was dated but functional. There was a 2 inch step down into the bathroom. because of the flooring it blended in perfectly. Unless you know it is there, you have to discover it the hard way, and always remember it is there or you will rediscover it. I cracked my toe three times and my wife almost went into a wall mirror. It is a lawsuit waiting to happen. There was absolutely no direction on what to do at checkout. We just left our room unlocked and the key on the bed. Hope that was the protocol, but there was no key drop, paperwork stating what to do, or person to ask. All in all, if you want somewhere to stay that is in a good location and you aren't opposed to the quirks, this place will serve its purpose.

Gite Au Vieux Pommier is an absolute delight in the magical backdrop of Tadoussac!!! My husband and I stayed there for a week, and it surpassed literally ALL of our expectations. Incredibly friendly staff in a convenient location. They walked us through a map of the town and gave us tips for whale watching. Great experience.

Walkable to river to watch whales. A few minutes away from a couple of good restaurants. Easy find and parking is easy. Staff is very nice.

I was disappointed by this inn. When I booked it was not clear that my room had to share a bathroom with another room. The room was very small, not much bigger than the double bed. The doors to both the room and the bathroom did not close easily and the walls shook when opening and closing them. This made for a very noisy stay as anytime a guest opened or closed a door it was loud. The shower in the bathroom was small and poorly designed.

Children are not welcome here. They will add hidden fees for them. The owners threatened to expel us because we were trying to understand the hidden fees. They were screaming at us. Worst travel experience we had.

This was a quiet and very friendly place to stay. The hosts were most helpful with ideas of where to visit and eat. Every effort was made by the hosts to ensure our stay was comfortable. A wonderful place that I recommend.

The host and her son were incredibly accommodating. She gave us great tips on where to visit. The room was cozy and spacious. Absolutely recommended! If we ever go to Tadoussac again, we will stay here.

We came for whalewatching. The entire experience was fabulous. We loved the village, the whale boat zephyr. We enjoyed getting to know our hostess Hela. Her Gite is clean, comfortable, well located. Merci beaucoup🙂
