Chambre spacieuse, petit déjeuner copieux (buffet), belle vue sur la mer depuis la salle à manger. Hôtel bien situé près de la plage et des accès pour l'excursion des baleines.

préférence à du parquet plutôt que de la moquette dans la chambre.

Emplacement exceptionnel face a la baie et à côté du départ des croisières pour observer les baleines. Le calme, les cheminées allumées, la gentillesse du personnel. Et le charme suranné de cet hôtel.. un vrai coup de cœur.

il piano inferiore era tutto chiuso nelle sue stanze storiche perché a metà ottobre l’hotel chiude la stagione, peccato.

We stayed 3 nights, 4 days, they never cleaned up the room or refill the coffee bar, or bother to change the towels, although we requested them twice to do so.

too old and out of date inside the room and washroom no AC, only ceiling fans, that you may be bothered by the noise from downstairs if they are using it during the night the couch in the room is so old and doesn’t look clean, you won’t want to sit on it😓

the beds in the bedroom seemed like a double instead of a queen and were very uncomfortable.

Historic hotel with lovely architecture and lots of character, including the iconic red roof visible from far out in the St. Lawrence. Great location on the harbour near whale-watching departure points and restaurants. Comfortable, spacious and nicely furnished lobby area. Very good buffet breakfast, with lots of choice and certain items like eggs prepared to order.

Rooms were a little small and room furnishings were dated.

Beautiful hotel with a stunning location.

The restaurant was different - seemed quite old fashioned. Our plates were taken away when all of us hadn’t finished and one was taken away when she was still eating.

Maitre'd was rude and sour. She struggled to crack a smile. We would suggest any restaurant in the area other than at the hotel. Food was sub par.

Classic historic hotel in the best location in town. The hotel has all the facilities you need (restaurant, bar, pool, tennis courts, etc. The view from the chairs on the lawn are amazing. Sit back with a drink and watch for the whales swimming in the harbour.

There is not much to dislike here. The hotel is not modern BUT it is true to its historical roots. If you need modern luxuries you are out of luck here (and in Tadoussac in general)

Value for money. The hotel is rundown and old. Requires updating. Carpet feels dirty as very old and worn out. The room has no ventilation and was very stuffy as we facing the parking lot

Despite the bad reviews, this is a still a nice place. It is not modern, but still a good place to stay for a whale watching tour starting 5min from the hotel. Staff was nice. Hotel bar offered a good burger for a good price while the official retsaurant was fully booked.

Bit oudtated couch and interior.

"The" hotel to stay in when sojourning in Tadoussac. Old school charm combined with a great view of the bay and the proper service one might expect in such a hotel. We especially enjoyed the cosy decoration and the excellent restaurant with direct view of the surroundings. Highly recommended.

The rooms are rather small with only one window.

The historical hotel with beautiful grounds and lovely artwork throughout the hotel and rooms . The view from the room was beautiful and we were able to see whales from the lawn on two occasions !!!
