Amazing stay

Absolutely incredible hotel/spa friendly and welcoming team throughout, nothing was too much trouble. The spa had loads of rooms ice,aromatherpay,salt aswell as a hydro and fitness pool, they also have a lovely although shallow outdoor pool and jacuzzi where i spent most of my time. Great food at the resteraunt you even get a voucher for money off the afternoon tea which was so yummy i couldnt finish it all so the team boxed it up for later! The only minor downsides to the trip were the rooms which some are yet to be upgraded there was peeling wallpaper and a musty smell, it's worth baring in mind theres a fair few steps to get throughout the hotel for those with mobility issues.The beds themselves were a dream so cosy!!! A huge shout out and thank you to the team as a solo traveller they made me feel ao comfortable. Already looking at booking again!

Great quiet location, close to the beach and town centre, very helpfull and friendly staff. Amazing SPA and outside area with swimming pool and jacuzzi. Highly recommended hotel.

Not overly impressed. Should have read the reviews first. We had the room with the generator outside the window! Don’t really need to repeat what has already been said in other reviews Breakfast was very disappointing, looked anemic and was not hot. Shame really as it’s a beautiful property.

Had a good weekend stay, food was good spa was lovely and not overly busy, room was small so ended up having to upgrade, expensive but as was a treat for my wife I didn't mind so much

Stayed for 2 nights, the spa facilities were excellent although there was no availability for treatments - it was a short notice trip so no time to book in advance. Room was good, clean, bathroom was a bit tired but the shower was strong. Service was good although we were not that impressed with the happy hour cocktail (possibly a bit weak)

We had an amazing time while our stay. The staff were lovely and very helpful too. Will definitely remember to revisit the place in up coming days.

Amazing staff, amazing service, amazing food and amazing spa. Unfortunately our bedroom let it down. It is clear to see that a lot of alterations have been made but we were disappointed with our bedroom which was obviously waiting for refurbishment. We knew the room was not going to be huge as advertised as cosy but you really couldn’t swing it cat. The bathroom was really small too. Both were very tired ( to say the least) and in my opinion shouldn’t be advertised or booked as it really let the hotel ( which could be excellent I guess eventually) down. Having been in this business for many, many years I myself would not risk my hotels reviews be effected. In my opinion we stayed where I could only explain as what it felt like staff quarters.

Lovely hotel and spa The staff were excellant and very helpful. Room was very clean and cleaned daily. The only downside is, what I saved booking with Hotels.com I lost with the Hotels £15 a night parking charges. There's no charge if booking direct with hotel.

Fantastic hotel and spa.Rooms include bathrobes and flip flops and Temple Spa toiletries.Access to the pool facilities both indoor and outdoor included.Excellent facilities,decor,cleanliness and service.Cannot fault and would highly recommend.Superb value for facilities provided.

A beautiful property. Amazing staff. Stayed in a signature refurbished room, the bed was quite uncomfortable and hard. Bathroom large, shower a bit disappointing but overall a pleasant room. The templespa toiletries supplied were amazing and were available to buy. Breakfast at £15 each was a disappointment as limited pastries,yoghurts and fruit. No tea or coffee refils offered and the full english breakfast was quite small, I did not think it was worth the money. Had an evening meal which was ok, the mains were mediocre and overpriced. The dessert better, cheesecake was delicious. Spa facilities fantastic. Treatments fabulous. Outside terrace area was lovely overlooking the pool and jacuzzi. The hotel is located on quite a steep hill and its downhill to the town centre which is about a 8 minute walk. Don't think its ideal for the less mobile, also I didn't see any facilities for disabled guests at the property. Overall a lovely relaxing break. I would visit again but probably wouldn't eat in. The best thing about it were the staff, they couldn't do enough for us.

Hotel was great, especially the spa and heated outside pool area.

Wonderful hotel, friendly staff, the room was great. Comfy bed, quiet air con, nice touches with bath robe and flip flops. Lighting was good too which is unusual. Food great in the bistro, and the spa was amazing will be back

A great hotel in beautiful grounds perfect for a couples get away. The staff are friendly and always there to help. The adults only allows for a more intimate feeling and approach. The spa facilities are top notch and we look forward to visiting again

We both thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Spa facilities were great but the room wasn’t too great. We found a room was very small and it gave us a feel like we are in travel lodge. Having said that but spa was amazing. Overall we enjoyed the break.

Staff were fantastic. Lovely style and engagement “Old” rooms are tired and run down - pay for the refurbished rooms No restriction on spa so for very busy and very loud, with people on FaceTime on speakers ruining the ambiance. Be better if access was restricted to numbers / time limit to allow it to be calm

We selected the Signature room and this hotel based on the photos on your website. It showed a very large room and very large bathroom. We paid extra over the Classic room based on the significantly larger room shown in the photos. The room we were given was much smaller than the photos. When we queried this with Reception it was explained that our room was bigger than a Classic. We appreciate there will be some variation in room size in an older hotel but there was a massive difference between the photos and reality which felt we had been misled. We asked about the room in the photos and were told this room had now been refurbished so was no longer a Signature room. This was disappointing as was the initial handling of our complaint. In the end we paid extra for a larger room. After this, everything else was good.

stayed in room 20 definitely not one off there best room pillows and mattress good do with being changed very small room had to keep blind down as staff was outside on steps right outside the window could do with privacy glass !! hotel it self amazing as always been here 5 times and will definitely be back but not to room 20 !

This place has a luxury feel as soon as you walk in. The spa is also ahead of many others in terms of luxury feel and facilities. We had a really lovely stay as six couples who left the kids at home for a night away to relax and unwind. Only a short walk down to the waterfront and into town too.
