Lovely little B&B not far from the old town. Felt very welcomed on arrival and enjoyed the freshly baked croissants and omelettes for breakfast. Room was very clean, quiet, spacious and comfortable! I’d recommend.

Lovely little B & B. Quiet. Friendly, helpful staff. Adequate breakfast. Spotless rooms. Just be aware there is no lift so stairs to climb which could be a problem if you have large suitcases or are elderly. It was a bit difficult to find, as you cannot be dropped at the door in a taxi/car. Again there are stairs to navigate from the street.

Loved being in the old town yet tucked in off the street. Delicious breakfast outdoors surrounded by attractive plants and flowers. Cal was especially helpful when we checked in

Didn’t like the hike up to the property with luggage at my age.

We stayed for a night before we flew back home. Only down side is it was hard to locate on google maps and the road to pick up an uber is a little walk away. Overall the accommodations were very clean and we loved the breakfast.

Tucked away on a pedestrian only street, Balatura is a hidden gem. It is a 5 minute walk to the center of activity. Beautiful, spacious, clean room with an awesome shower, delicious full breakfast, and friendly staff, we highly recommend staying here.

Great location, easy to walk to places of interest. Very helpful staff, nice room and good breakfast. Couldn’t ask for more, although parking is a little tricky.

Great breakfast and spacious room. If you arrive late at night, definitely read the email instruction carefully because there will be no staff after 12pm.

The staff were very helpful in guiding us to the car park as it was located some 5 minutes away. The B&B was nice but after a long day driving just wanted to relax and watch some TV, which did not work (and apparel had not been tuned in for some weeks). The location is good and only a short walk to the port.

Liked: cleanliness, in quiet area, lovely bathroom, comfortable bed. Lack of guest care made us cross: * Safe was impossible and we were blamed for this * Complimentary bottle of wine meant we had to ask for it and not given one automatically. We then fought to be given two quarter bottles (not one quarter bottle as then offered) of what turned out to be undrinkable wine. We expected a normal sized bottle of drinkable wine, as per our hotel in Dubrovnik * We had to pre-order breakfast at a specified time, then we were presented with a cooked breakfast, the moment we sat down and not asked when we were ready

Absolutely exceptional in every way.

Excellent facility with attention to every detail. Comfortable, quiet and clean. Excellent breakfast. In close proximity to Diocletian’s Palace and the Riva. Employees were helpful and caring. Our receptionist even walked us to the main road to facilitate the airport transfer! And carried our luggage! Would definitely stay here again, our first choice.

Unique old city. Close to the palace and ferry port. Room is very nice and clean. Enjoy the free wine and breakfast buffet.

Great service

Great little B&B in the heart of Split. 10/15 min walk to the main tourist area and the port. Very much as described - small but mighty fine. The rooms are tastefully decorated and comfortable. The breakfast area is outside and just lovely to sit and enjoy your breakfast which was really good - ordered in advance and delivered perfectly. The owners and staff were super helpful and very very nice people. Very unusually, we had heavy rain and Tia kindly provided some umbrellas for us to use which was very kind. We usually stay at bigger hotels but this has changed our thoughts on maybe using smaller places from now on.

It was amazing, the property was very clean and the family run B & B was perfect!

Lovely place to stay!!

We loved staying here for 2 nights. The first night we were in room 106 which is the top floor (3rd floor) and had a little view of the water. The second night we stayed in 104 which has a patio area- 2nd floor just above the lovely breakfast area. The rooms were exactly the same. This delightful hotel smells of lavender and the staff goes beyond to help their guests. They do offer laundry service and also helped arrange a taxi to the airport and booked us a tour in Split. Their restaurant recommendations were spot on. We really enjoyed their breakfast. They had a delicious offering of fruit, cereals, yogurts and then each afternoon you filled out your breakfast request for the next day. (eggs, toast, meats/cheeses). Get the croissants! AND they have real brewed coffee- a rarity in Europe. But they are happy to make you an espresso or a latte. It is a little tricky to find (don't use google maps if you are walking from the ferry). I think it's best to call when you get there and see if they can text you directions. You have to find an alley entrance off a main streets. Don't hesitate to book this lovely place- it's worth the price.

A very nice place run by lovely people. The best part was it was totally silent aside for normal doors closing etc. the neighbourhood is close to the main strip without the noise. It wasn’t cheap compared to other options and we were slightly disappointed to see that if we had waited and booked the room a day before we got there, it would have been much cheaper, but that’s the price you pay for planning and securing the room in advance. No complaints at all.

A great option in Split! A lovely small hotel, with dedicated staff. They let us borrow umbrellas the day it rained, did not blink an eye at us being 1 hour late to breakfast, and generally were lovely and efficient. Great location just outside the walls. Would definitely stay again!

The staff are wonderful and incredibly supportive. They make every effort to make your stay most enjoyable. The breakfast is absolutely wonderful and always prepared with attention to detail. Thoroughly pleased with all aspects of our stay at Balatura.

Warm welcoming and helpful service and hospitality from Lina. Small but modern room. A bit off the beaten path but a short walk to city center. Best to contact Lina ahead of time to arrange transport. No elevator but we got the room on the main floor so not an issue lugging bags upstairs. Would go back again!

Fantastic place in a beautiful small street that was dripping with history. Staff were the friendliestnmost helpful people we’ve encountered in our many hotel stays. Breakfast was great and what a fantastic change from half-warm buffets where only a small portion is eaten to the personalised gourmet breakfasts at Balatura. All restaurant recommendations were top notch. The room was so big and always impeccable. This fantastic bed and breakfast gets our highest recommendation! Thanks so much for our stay.
