Wow, wonderful hotel! Felt like VIPs from check in to check out. Absolutely beautiful room as well as the rest of the hotel. Lots of choices at breakfast with fresh eggs cooked right there. We would recommend this hotel to everyone visiting PEI.

Everything was amazing, except for one thing: their boiler system is outdated. Went on a weekday and the showers had no hot water. Spoke to the clerk who told me to wait it out one hour for the water to reheat. I guess other guests must have used up all of the hot water.
After an hour, water was still cold so we were given a second room. The second room had enough hot water for two showers and a bath. That room ran out of hot water towards the end of the second bath. Other family members took a shower in the morning instead.
The staff were super friendly and tried their best to fix the situation by offering us a second room; however, this was on a weekday in the fall. Can’t imagine what they’d do in this situation if the hotel was packed on a weekend during peak season.

Our stay was excellent. From check-in to check-out, every staff we encountered were friendly. The included breakfast was great. It is a beautiful hotel. Our hotel room was superb/spacious, clean, and nicely decorated. The room had everything we needed. The hotel was walkable to restaurants and shops.

We loved our stay at the Sydney! The room was so comfortable: comfortable bed, the best pillows, robe & slippers, nice amenities. The breakfast was delicious and had lots of options. We will stay here again!

WE STAYED IN THE SUITES 2 NIGHTS AND THE 2 BEDROOM APARTMENT ONE NIGHT. THEY WERE TERRIFIC. WELL APPOINTED, CLASSIC OLD FURNITURE, EXCESS BATHROOM PRODUCTS, VERY LARGE SPACIOUS ROOM. THEY DID A GREAT JOB CONVERTING THE OLD BUILDING FROM A GIRLS HIGH SCHOOL. BETTER THAN AVERAGE BREAKFAST. WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND STAYING THERE IF YOU WANT A BETTER THAN USUAL HOTEL EXPERIENCE.

The room was exquisite, fabulous furniture, bedding, towels, and shampoo/conditioner. It is rated us five star and I would’ve expected help with luggage and although the breakfast was adequate, it was in a small cramped room. Also, the individual who checked us and did not even tell us about breakfast without me asking. If those items had been better, I would’ve given it five stars.

This is a lovely property very close to everything in Charlottetown. We had a fully equipped apartment that even had a washer/dryer which was lovely at that stage in our travels. You need to be aware that there is no food at the hotel other than morning breakfast so plan to grab lunch and dinner in town.

The suite was beautiful and classy. Breakfast was hot, fresh and delicious. My only complaint was that the kitchen had some dried spilled coffee which looks like it was left from past guests. But other than that, it was amazing!

This is a very special place. History makes it so interesting and intriguing. Beautiful inside and outside, specious greatly decorated. Central location, walkable to old town and waterfront. Comfortable. Old World charm with contemporary amenities. 4 electric car chargers.

In total very nice boutique hotel. It was historical building well renovated. Good garden and very tasty breakfast. One concern is that our room is located in the semi-basement actually,but when we booked, it was said ground floor.
Another concern is main bedroom the ventilation air conditioning hole is towards the bed which will feel not comfortable.

This place is a gem, it’s an old girl’s school that was renovated. The rooms are amazing. The breakfast room was so well staffed, I think we counted 4 staff members catering to our every need. We will certainly stay here again.

We had an amazing time here!! Staff were all so fun and friendly…special shout out to Jeff from Toni, Toni’s husband and Toni’s daughter! 😂Breakfast was scrumptious and staff were so accommodating. The hotel is steeped in history, with little nooks and crannies filled with delightful surprises and pictures, along with an extraordinary garden and sitting area filled with 5’ tall hydrangeas and other beautiful flowers and trees. The hotel is just a couple blocks up from the Food Mall Market with daily live local entertainment, shops and eateries. As well as Lobster on the Wharf and other little shops and restaurants on the harbour. Just 4 blocks from the downtown restaurants and action on Queen Street. Amazing hotel and location. We would definitely stay there again!

What a wonderful place to stay - rooms were well appointed and comfortable, breakfast is one of best hotel breakfasts we have has, staff was personable and helpful, property was immaculate and very well operated. Loved the walking convenience to restaurants and shows. Would definitely go back!

Beautiful hotel. Our room had everything we needed including a washer and dryer, and a kettle, which was appreciated.description stated dishwasher, which wasn’t included but glasses etc were cleaned and replaced daily so that was appreciated as well. Bed was comfortable but felt small for a queen sized. Property was clean and quiet. The courtyard was a pleasant surprise and we used it nightly. Breakfast could use some variety each day, and coffee could be improved. Over all the stay was good, but for the price it should have been amazing. Unfortunately I doubt we would stay again. The air conditioning/ heating unit could not be adjusted and the fan ran at high speed our entire 4 night stay. It definitely affected our sleep. We asked for it to be adjusted or turned off but it wasn’t possible. The use of scented laundry products and the scent front the dryer vents was overwhelming at times both in our room and outside in the courtyard. Beautiful decor, great amenities, friendly staff but the other issues made our stay not as pleasant as we had hoped.

This is a beautiful property. We enjoyed a larger suite for our family and loved the proximity to the downtown area and waterfront. Great value for money. Staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!
