This place surpassed our expectations - the location is unrivaled, with a completely unobstructed view of the fjord and mountains. The space is so big, clean, and comfortable - and beautifully lit with natural light spilling through the massive windows. All the things we wanted to do were within walking distance - the Hondungo hike, the Stokko hike, and kayaking. We loved our little balcony (perfect for yoga!) The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we could need. Parking was no problem at all. We stayed three nights and I wish we could have stayed a week - or a month! Would definitely book again.

We visited in the off season in October. It was beautiful even if it was chilly. Just know ahead of time what is open and what in closed if you plan to visit in the off season. Our hosts were very kind and helpful .

This property is in a very tranquil setting right on the fjord. We wished we could have stayed longer because it was so beautiful. Also, the 3-bedroom apartment was very clean, modern, and quite large.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house had everything we needed and it had incredible fjord views. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. Would highly recommend!

Property did not provide bare necessities eg soap, shampoo and conditioner. These are very basic amenities in hospitality.

Extremely intimate and beautiful

The apartment was fine. There are windows on 3 sides of the lounge and dining area, which give absolutely stunning views of the fjord. It was so sublime we extended our stay and, if we had the time, would have stayed longer. The only 2 down sides for us were that the bed was very hard and creaked loudly every time one of us turned over. The shower didn’t stay on its holder, so the showering experience was a big of a faff. That said, water pressure was strong. In spite of this, we would return just for that incredible vista.

Stunningly beautiful location. Very comfortable and clean accommodation. Very friendly owners who also run a very good restaurant just by the dock. Great charming little village with a well stocked shop and great hiking options on your doorstep.

We only spent one night and wish we had stay more. Superb location and service. We are at the restaurant as well.

Visit undredal was more spacious than we were expecting based on the pictures. The huge living area had fantastic views over the fjord, and there was even a private sauna! Location was also excellent - only a few minutes walk to the village and several trails on the doorstep, including a route along the edge of the fjord. Cabin owner was very helpful providing recommendations in the area. Only negative was the check-in experience, it took over half an hour from arrival until the owner arrived, despite ringing the advertised numbers multiple times.

This place was above expectations in most ways, considering the price we paid: Better views than expected More space than expected (spacious living room and kitchen) Better location than expected (short drive from Flåm, and you can drive all the way to the apartment) Friendlier owner and staff than expected.

The water in the kitchen and toilet are dusty and not clean

The view from the cabin is SUPERB, totally million dollars view. Property was in an okay condition, full kitchen and stuff. Warm enough (4 degrees at night). We couldn't contact the reception for check-in, luckily we could get a help. Surroundings are quiet and peaceful, very nice for vacation.

Amazing place! The pictures don't do justice! The place is literally on the water. The owners were very helpful and kind. The house was very comfortable and great for our young children. Highly recommend and want to return.

This place is off the beaten path, but a real joy if you want to experience rural fjord Norway. Very accommodating hosts. We planned to stay for two nights, stayed for four.

This is an awesome property. Excellent for spending some time in quiet. Road to appartments is little bit rough otherwise property is worth paying every cent they charge.

Excellent location with wonderful hosts. The road that leads to Undredal is beautiful and sometimes blocked with goats. This one was an authentic experience.

Absolute beauty of the fjord country out the windows of a complete modern apartment.

We had the bottom floor of a house to ourselves. It includes 2 bedrooms, a kitchen, living room and bathroom. The place is very spacious and has a great view of the surrounding nature. The kitchen was equipped with a full set of supplies and amenities, as well as coffee/tea. There was also a laundry machine present. The check-in location was difficult to find (you have to follow signs for registration to a small restaurant in order to check-in). The house itself is located at the edge of town and the road leading to the house is very rural. The town is very lovely and we saw many goats that blocked the road driving in/out.

Difficult to get to. No public bus. Water ferry infrequent and pricey. Apartment needs blackout shades. Restaurant was very good if a little pricey too. Beautiful setting and although difficult to get to, is away from the swarms of tourists in Flåm.

It was very hard to find out the hotel (or more accurate it was a cottage). It was by the fjord, with nice view and quiet environment, you can have a good night sleep, but not many things available in surrounding areas, not much to do after supper. The parking space is a bit tricky, and the back door cannot be properly locked.

Excellent Location. Pure Norway it just doesn't get any better than this. You will stay in a Norwegian house. The village is fantastic and the views to the Fjord are magnificent. Just bring your toiletries, soap, shampoo, etc. Remember you are renting a house, but if you don't have the toiletries there is a great store/market/deli, etc,etc. at walking distance. Strongly recommended if you want to live the real Norwegian adventure.

We stayed in Undredal three nights, of our week in Norway. We are value travelers, preferring to shed the amenities of a hotel, for the freedom of an apartment. There are tradeoffs of this approach, and we do not penalize the places we stay for these trades. We are a retired couple, I am in my 70’s.The apartment is on the lowest floor of the house, described as ground floor, we in the US might call it walk out basement. That being said, it is very airy, has multiple large windows facing the fjord, and a nice walk out wood deck with table and chairs. The view is great. Wonderful place to have an afternoon drink, and watch the goats on the cliffs on far side of the fjord, and the cruise ships leave Flam. Flam is around a bend in the Fjord and not visible. The town of Undredal is easily seen from the deck, and picturesque.The apartment is quite large, huge living room area, with sofas, a dining area off the kitchen, large bathroom, and two bed rooms. There were only two of us so we used the second bedroom to store our luggage. When the upstairs is rented, it is possible to hear them walking about.The kitchen is fully equipped, having a dish washer, full size stove, full refridge freezer, coffee maker, and microwave. Cupboards had pots pans, silverware, cups, glasses, etc. We cooked our dinner there each of the three nights we stayed. Coffee filters are provided, as is coffee, and dishwasher soap.A hand knife sharpener would be a valuable addition as their carving knives wer

Visit Undredal is located in a small, quiet, peaceful village away from the tourist traffic but near Flam. Our cottage was large, clean, and with the fjord view. On our drive in we encountered a flock of goats, the sound of rushing water, and beautiful mountain views. We arrived later than we hoped, in the rain and dark so it was a bit difficult to find the registration office, but once there we were warmly greeted and given directions to our cottage. Bring food and enjoy a sweet picnic on the porch. We stayed two nights and would gladly stay again!

What a nice town. Great appartment. Unfortunately the fans for drying the hay at a neighbour farmer were constantly operating, also at night. Breakfast was also not included in spite of what it said on Expedia. We had to buy some stuff in the local shop.

Wow what a unique apartment. Met the owner and his wife in their shop tasted the local cheeses and salami. The apartment although a bit dated was comfy and had everything we needed. The view was absolutely stunning and the covered terrace was perfect for sitting watching the wildlife.

We stayed for two nights. Very relaxing place to experience small town living. Store was open till 4:30 and had basics for cooking. Cafe was closed for the season. Got our key from the store. Plenty of room to spread out in this 2 bedroom apartment. Washer but no dryer and some cooking utensils in the kitchen. Right on the water!
