Excellent Location

Nothing much to say

The location is excellent and within easy walking distance of most, if not all, tourist sites in Bergen. We were easily able to walk from the train station to the hotel. The room and bathroom were excellent and clean and the bed was comfortable.

While the breakfast was very good it was very crowded. The hotel is obviously very popular.

Truly awesome location. Walk to everything, at a pickup location for airport shuttle. Less than a mile from train station.

Unremarkable room but not important

The location is great, right in the middle of Bryggen, most of the staff is professional and friendly. The room was big, and clean. The sauna/hammam was clean. Breakfast had a wide choice.

When we checked in we have not been informed about a party taking place the same night, until 3am, we overheard it from other guests who being given the information. We would have liked to be informed beforehand so we had the option to maybe book somewhere else if we wanted to, as we came for a relaxing holiday.

Friendly staff, great rooms and excellent location

Great breakfast, location very central within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Love the heritage of the building. Very generous room size with writing desk and lounge.

Great location, comfortable room and a plentiful breakfast

Designated breakfast times and missing out on preferred time. Charged for breakfast when it was supposed to be included in our accommodation deal. Still waiting for reimbursement……would have appreciated an apology.

Breakfast was good we love it. Location is the Best of best in hear of city all round form Food / Supermarket / sim card / a very good exchange shop FOREX there is Mr. David he give me best of the rate for my Euro i exchange Bus Station 15Min Train Station 15 min

No tooth brush or past No Water bottle - Pls get for your self one Room are very small and i hope if hotel give guest sometime upgrade room for free if there is availability of cause

Very nice superior rooms (there are at least two different types of rooms, the superior version is definitely the better option, having stayed in the hotel twice), good breakfast selection.

clean and very good food. Beds were very comfortable. Nice neighbourhood.

breakfast was decent but the food wasn’t refilled, everything was disorganized. The staff wasn’t friendly and not helpful when you’d ask question, for example I asked for a cappuccino with lactose free milk and no one was able to even try to help, the food took way too long and it arrived cold

The room was way too hot during the night , could not sleep comfortably. We had the temperature control set to cool but would not change the temperature.

The public areas were very nice. Our room was like Ann Frank’s attic — bare floors, no comfortable chair, a support beam in the middle of the room, no way to run a CPAP without leaving lights on overnight. Stuffy and hot even with windows open. Table service in bar was slow, though servers were mostly pleasant. There should be a warning about our crummy room {575} and the charge should be super-cheap. But it isn’t.

The room furniture is older but the breakfast is absolutely majestic and worth it. Personal is very nice and profesional. The location is near the centre by walk. Many options what to do. I really recommend IT. Fantastic 3 days in Norway.
