Staff were brilliant, and the hotel was clean and nice, in a lovely area.
Only issue was the incredibly bizarre shower in the bathroom, it’s designed so if you turn it on with the door open the water shoots directly out the door and floods the floor, meaning you have to get in the shower, shut the door and turn it on and go though a period of ice cold water before it warms up, rather than turn it on until it gets to the temperature you want and then get in.

Lovely hotel, very spacious rooms with plenty of storage and plenty of room to get ready, which was great as we were there for a wedding. It was a little bit dusty with some cobwebs in the top corners however other than that, it was clean.

The room was clean and comfortable however it is the staff that made it. They were very helpful right from check in through to helping us to get a taxi.

Arrived at hotel to a pleasant lady on the reception, she was lovely. Hotel seemed clean. Rooms are ok, just basic nothing fancy. Had a nice bar area in the hotel. They have a function room there that they hire out, there was a 21st on. We was maybe expecting it to be noisy late on when we got back from a wedding we was going to near by, but it wasn’t. We had a comfortable night sleep.

Horrible room, absolutely filthy, stains on the walls, over half the bulbs in the room not working, television not working, burn hole in the throw, tattered wooden panelling on the bath, trouser press literally hanging off the wall, and when you’re paying £200+ for a “suite” very unprofessional and wasteful.

One of the nicest rooms I have stayed in recently. I liked that it was right next door to the Blackburn rovers training ground (The team I support), I think I managed to see a few players training on Sunday afternoon (from a distance). I didn't use the restaurant / bar area, but I am sure it is very nice - will check it out on my next visit.

Location is lovely in a secluded gated village. Staff were friendly and tried to be helpful where they could. The hotel itself was not the 4 stars it claims to be - more like a 2 or 3 star. Will not be staying there again.

I booked this boutique hotel for a business trip in the area for myself and a colleague. We were both really impressed with the quality and cleanliness of the bedrooms and how nice the the whole placed smelled. The smell of of hotel is not something I usually notice, but the bedrooms, corridors and reception just smelled so clean and fresh. The staff are super friendly the the food in the bar/restaurant was very good and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will definitely use it again myself should I need a hotel in the area again
