The Hotel never disappoints. Clean, pretty, and convenient when visiting my Terp. But the best thing about the Hotel is the friendly and knowledgable staff. Thanks to them for always making us feel welcome and cared for.

Nice hotel. Eateries on site. My room had nice view of UM campus. Parking was easy in elevated garage. Room service every third day. Large bar in lobby. The thing that annoyed me was the stupid light switches. They were push button with a display. In an effort to be fancy, they just mucked it up and made turning lights off and on difficult.

Very clean & modern. Staff was very friendly and professional. I loved everything about this hotel and will definitely be staying here whenever i’m in the area.

Great place to stay if you’re visiting the university - right across the street! Super convenient parking.

The free shuttle and the location made this hotel very convenient. I have 2 big issues with this hotel. First, the first room they gave us, someone was still clearly staying in it. There were still luggages and personal belongings everywhere in the room when we opened it. Second, the room was very dusty and clearly hasn't been vacuumed. We requested housekeeping and crumbs that were there the day before, were still there when we came back. We ended up cleaning it ourselves. Refrigerator was also broken but we didn't need it for that trip. Lobby looks nice and clean though. Bagel place downstairs was also good.

The executive lounge breakfast was very medicore Many times food items were missing for eg on one of the days cold milk was there but no cereals to go with them. This was 1st thing in morning. One day some limited hot food was there but most days no hot food. Variety was very very limited. Stay was very good in the hotel but executive lounge breakfast that was free with the stay was as good as not worth it.

A/C was not working at home, decided to get a room til it was fixed. Great room and hotel was beautiful. I enjoyed the pool and the hotel staff was exceptional.

It was amazing. Only thing was the needing of housekeeping. But we managed. Would’ve loved clean towels and a freshly made bed. I guess you need to pre-order the service?? But it was nice and clean. And staff was great. P

This property was excellent located across the street from UMD campus. There were plenty of great dining options and even a free shuttle to/from campus. Staff were very friendly to boot!

Decor/clean/modern/price

We enjoyed our stay overall. We got a good deal on Expedia, which is why we believe the value was excellent. We used the spa and it was fantastic (Essence was lovely). We were there during a tornado warning and we felt that the hotel managed the situation very well and kept everybody safe. We were impressed by the number and quality of restaurants on site. There were two small issues that we thought could be improved. The first is the pool. The water was way too cold. We didn’t go in because of how uncomfortable it would have been, which was a little upsetting because we chose this hotel particularly because it has a pool. It was a nice layout and very clean but the water was frigid. The other issue was that the walls seemed paper thin. Our room was right beside University of Maryland football players and we heard everything they had to say about everything. While they were loud and even screaming at some points, even when they were quiet and just simply laughing, we could hear everything. It became disruptive. I went to the front desk at 10:30pm and was considering asking to move rooms to avoid any confrontation and further discomfort but whoever was working mentioned that the players usually settle down right away. They did happen to do that soon after but it wasn’t a pleasant experience to go through. Overall, it was a good experience and we’d stay again but prepare for the two negative aspects discussed above. We would ask for a room away from potential noisy guests

I wanted to stay on or close to the U of MD campus as I was taking my daughter to tour as a prospective student. The location was perfect. When we opened our curtains, we had a fantastic view of the M circle and some of the campus buildings. In the lobby, there was an admissions desk as well. It was very clean and comfortable.

We arrived at 615pm for our stay, and our room was not ready, despite check in being at 4. We traveled from 4 hours away, and would have appreciated a phone call prior if our room was not going to be ready upon check in. Couches in common areas very dirty, and pool was not heated at all. My daughter and husband couldn’t swim it was that cold. No housekeeping service.

Nice updated property. On location dining options were both excellent!

The only issue we had, was the pull out couch had no sheets/blanket, and when we called the desk, they promised to send some up, but never did-so my friend slept with towels as a sheet. Everything else about the hotel, from location, to ambience, was fantastic
