Having rented with VRBO and other rental companies in past this was a slightly different experience. Past rentals included plenty of sheets and towels. And spices! Staff/property management was wonderful and we appreciated the mid-week pool check. The provided emails regarding information, check-in and out, etc. were thorough and very helpful to travelers. My only “suggestions” would be to fix the popped up boards and bolts around pool deck as several people stubbed their toes and the bath tub on the top floor was badly backed up/clogged making for showers standing in several inches of water. Nevertheless, we truly enjoyed our experience with this home and realty company.

One concern/ challenge was the pool had no railing with the steps in. Didn’t think it would matte but grandma fell and several close calls. Suggest add a rail. Buzzers on sliders and doors downstairs gave us comfort none of the children went out where the pool was but perhaps a way for adults to go out without the alarm ringing. Constantly running downstairs to make sure it wasn’t the kids when alarm went off. If those two things were different we would make this our annual house. Close to beach and pier. Everything we needed is within 10 minutes of the house. Restaurants, mini golf, groceries bikes etc. key to closet had good pool toys and games. Advertised horseshoes and volleyball did not find net or horseshoes but it could have been us. Views are impeached by house being built across the street

Sadly, we will be switching beach houses next year because the owner decided to switch to Saturday check in from Sunday, which we prefer. I would highly recommend this beach house however, as it has it all - Central AC, internet, a swimming pool, hot tub, pool table, etc. Great location too - close to Nags Head Fishing Pier & Lucky 12 Tavern. We will miss you Ace's!

The pool and pool toys were great. The bicycles were a favorite with all the kids!!!! They loved the extra mobility they provided. The neighborhood was wonderful. We really had to search hard for any negatives. The television system was full of features but a little complicated for casual users. Parking was great for 3 cars and still room for the kids to play basketball.

We spent much of our time in and around the pool. There was a problem with the upper level A/C but the issue was fixed timely. Janet at the rental company was VERY helpful in getting that issue resolved. All of us wished we could have stayed another week. A good testimonial to a great family vacation. An issue with the foyer kept us from using the front door, but as it turned out it never was an inconvenience. New beach chairs, and plenty of pool floats etc.

The location was ideal because of the proximity to the beach and nearby shopping. The house itself had a great layout, large family gathering area, open kitchen and an awesome ground floor that led out to a large pool area. The accommodations are perfect for our family and we enjoy the pool and the proximity to the beach. Over the years, though, we have noticed that the cleanliness of the home's interior has declined. Vents and air returns are very dirty and almost blocked with pet hair and dust. Bathrooms have obviously been given a "quick once over". Bathroom rugs are grimy and the floor in the kitchen is sticky. Linens provided for the beds are cheap and dingy and the bedspreads and pillows are stained. This is a beautiful home....please revisit the housekeeping and linen services being used. Also, we have continually asked that the light in the pool be repaired. We have never in 5 years been able to swim at night because the light in the pool does not work.

We arrived at the check in desk around 10:30 to let the folks in the office know we were in town. Around 12:30 we were check in and were on a start to a good week. I was very understanding of the resources that weren't available due to the tropical storm. Upon arrival to our house we noticed the pool was undisirably dirty with debris. I called the number I was given and was told it'd be completed that afternoon but if there wasn't time that afternoon, it'd be cleaned first thing Monday morning (Labor Day). Monday morning soon arrived and past and still a dirty pool. This was going on an entire day without a pool. I called and of course the office was closed due to the holiday so I called the 24/7 line. A lady said someone would be out to clean it that day since she posted a workorder. I gave it 2 hours and no one showed up. I called again and a gentleman told me there was nothing he could do and I'd have to leave a message for the service department. I did so and no one ever returned my call. I took it upon myself to clean the pool to the best of my ability so my kids could enjoy the pool. I also swept leaves for an hour around the pool. I was on vacation cleaning up stuff that I paid for someone else to do. Tuesday evening someone finally came to "vacuum" the pool. The dishes were dirty, the clothes dryer sucked, the dishwasher didn't clean. We had to hand wash most of our dishes, and the remotes were difficult to operate. The doors in all the showers need some intervention as well. They kept coming off of the track. Other than that, I'd give this house a 3 out of 5. I'd give beach realty a 2 based on their lacking customer service associates.

We had a large group. Three families children ranging from 2-15! There was something for everyone and the house was perfect for all ages! Plenty of room for everyone to spread out when need and still come together. We would definitely stay here again!

The house is very spacious, clean and close to the beach! Walking distance to ice cream store and 2 restaurants. Game room with pool table was lots of fun!

The decks on each level were a great way to find a nice quiet spot to read or relax. Many nights we watched the sunsets from there. Each couple had their own room and bathroom. The pool and hot tub were used the most - along with the pool table and shuffleboard game in the game room. Such a huge kitchen with everything you could possibly imagine! We even brought beach chairs and umbrellas and corn hole to find that all of those things were already there! With only a block walk to the beach - this was one of the best vacation rental experiences we have ever had! 5 Stars!

One of the things that make this house so great is the amount of privacy you have here. The house is located on a huge corner lot and there are vacant lots right across the street.
