Always stay here when we visit our son at Drexel. Always a pleasant stay and love the onsite bar and restaurant. Staff is wonderful.

Clean and quiet. Walkable neighborhood.

This hotel was very convenient right on the Drexel campus. It was an easy 10 minute Uber ride to the Wells Fargo Center.

I only stayed here for one night but the hotel was a nice surprise, the property is beautiful, the staff was very nice and the location is great.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Study at University City. Most of all we were impressed by the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. From the front desk, to the restaurant, and their housekeeping staff, everyone was so nice and accommodating. We wished that more of the non-suite rooms had a small refrigerator, but we asked the restaurant staff for a bucket of ice (there are no ice machines on the room floors), and we were able to keep most of things cold which needed to be kept cold.

It is nice to stay this hotel but front staff is not friendly and seem not to be professional. The hotel room does not have refrigerator!

This is not a four star hotel. Very basic and simple furniture and amenities and it looks like a dorm. I would not stay there again. I would go for Inn at Penn

Classy, clean, quiet, safe, accommodating and sits perfectly in the center of the University square.

This is a gem in Philadelphia, University City. We stayed at other hotels in the area, and this is the best: a chill lounge, great free coffee in the morning and happy staff.

Decor was excellent. Valet parking took over 30 minutes to obtain car - this happened twice. Other than that, our stay was wonderful.

It was awesome!

We stay here quite often as my daughter is attending U Penn. Location is perfect. Rooms are on the smaller side and beds are not that comfortable but overall they are clean, service is friendly and the restaurant is very good. Difficult to plug in electronic devices near the bed. I may need to branch out to other hotels as they are now starting to exploit travelers at certain times of the year. They just changed their policy to require a 4 night minimum stay at the time of Parent's Weekend at $500-600 a night. That's not cool.

Perfectly located for UPenn. Makes the whole stay walkable.

The hotel is delightful in decor with bookshelves and museum cases in the lobby. My room was upgraded since there were vacancies and had a lovely second room that was a "study" - cute, but not a very good use of space. I'd much rather have coffee in the room! The mattress was kind of saggy, and the carpet had snags, but overall it was comfortable. The service wasn't as great. The first time I went for coffee in the lobby they were out of milk, and the second time they were out of milk and coffee. I had to go over to the restaurant to let them know. The morning of my departure, housekeeping knocked on the door at 8 a.m. to shout in and ask if I was checking out late. I said no and tried to go back to sleep since I was up late the night before. At check out, the woman asked if everything was okay, and I started to suggest housekeeping not wake people up, but she interrupted and basically dismissed me.

Nice hotel with convenient access to Penn

The lady at checkin was an absolute delight. Couldn’t have asked for better service. Room was big, comfortable and clean. I did find the restaurant below average so my advice is to skip that place
