Beautiful views looking South to the ocean. Wonderful hospitality. A country style B&B, if that is what you’re looking for this is it! Wish we had more time to extend our stay.

Lovely location, waking up and going to sleep to the sound of the waves and trees will be missed. Very quiet and great attentive service with breakfast and any concerns or ideas of where to go with kids when weather is not great, even able to charge my EV. Room has a cute electric heater that looks like a fireplace, fridge, spa, glasses, mugs, plates for small meals, night light in bathroom and parking space next to the room. Lovely family feel with pictures of family around the place including in the room. Improvements needed: floor boards broken so need to know which to not stand on, decking is a little wobbly which is concerning with children out there, if you don’t like shower/baths don’t request the romance room but lovely to bathe overlooking the forest/sea, bathroom is only suitable for one person and light takes a little to turn on, decore needs a bit fixing/updating/cleaning, driveway is connecting two/three other houses so is difficult waiting for others to use the same single road/driveway. Everything is drivable to not walkable to (up the mountain on edge of lakes entrance), communal kitchen is the owners kitchen so not really communal. Will visit again and would recommend this place for a nights stay or two. Lovely.

Funky bed and breakfast with a nice view, rooms are quirky but clean and functional. Breakfast was nothing extraordinary, but filling and great to start the day exploring Lakes Entrance with a full belly. Overall, a nice change from the roadside motels we've been staying at, and the owner was very nice and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautifle views lovely rooms

We had the most amazing view from our room and balcony. It was not what I expected at all - so many things in the room that we never had to leave! Spa bath, microwave, fridge, outdoor area all to ourselves. It was a lovely end to our car trip that day. So quirky and so comfortable!

The view was nice ; the reviews containing. the word “quirky” certainly weren’t joking , the heater didn’t work properly and area to heat was huge as manly glass all around , , the “spa bath” / shower was the only place to shower (with out a curtain to avoid splashes )and situated in the middle of the room.:and wasn’t very inviting .: The “free continental breakfast “ was a bit of a joke and could hardly be called that , the free wifi did not work in our cabin ..maybe on a hot summers night it would feel better, the veranda not really safe for small children .: if it was cheaper you wouldn’t mind so much , but for $182 a night it seems disappointing ./ apart from the non working wifi it cleverly had everything it advertised , by it was deceptive as the facilities advertised usually are associated as luxury items like spa bath, and built up the expectations but the lay out and delivery of the promised items lead to disappointment :: ok for a quick stop over , but hardly the luxurious cabin you expect when booking it .

A unique B&B in the hills that had a great view, was very quiet and staff were brilliant.

The view over the ocean was the highlight. The property was basic and tired. Shower was tiny. Host was not welcoming.

It's definitely "Rustic," The heating was somehow mismanaged and the entire place smelled of firewood... I felt like I was camping.... the smell and smoke was so bad, my eyes were burring and my clothes smelled of smoke in the morning. it was the worst sleep of my entire trip.

Beautiful spot and views. Not sound proof. Heard everything going on in the squeaky bed above us. Room was very musty smelling and dusty. Allergies played up.

A fun quirky property with a laid back ambience. A friendly owner who made sure we were well settled in. Comfy and cosy I'm sure we'll be back to spend a Winter's Weekend here.

Loved our stay at the Goat and Goose. We had the penthouse and an incredible view over the ocean. Communications with the property were great and it had everything we needed.

We felt like we were living in a tree house in the magic far away tree . We had the whole top floor . The moment we arrived we did not want to leave The view from all windows was unbelievably beautiful . The interior of the wooden house was eclectic , quirky and totally appealed to my aesthetic . Tiny treasures were all around the house .i truely loved this place

We didn’t stay here so I can’t speak for the venue or amenities or anything like that. The owners cancelled our booking on us late the night before we were meant to stay due to ‘covid’, which is fine. I do wonder whether there is a better covid policy than just flat out cancelling but atleast it was the off season and we were able to find last minute alternate accomodation.

Rained for two days solid, but we were staying at the Goat and Goose, so spent the time in comfort.

We had a wonderful night in the quaintest B@B. I would always return if I were in Lakes Entrance. It was cosy and welcoming.

gorgeous place- comfortable room with amazing view (I had a free upgrade due to maintenance going on in my booked room), wonderful host, great value for money, lovely homey feel in the room.

Loved the quirkiness this property offers together with the great ocean views. Lots of great kitsch cleverly put together to create a unique experience. Shower was in the compact side the tall and round...but we would still go back. Very dog friendly.

We loved our stay in this quirky property. Sheree our host was wonderful and makes great scones! We had everything we needed in a peaceful, relaxed and comfortable environment that was more like a home than the usual B&B accommodation. Highly recommended and we will definitely be returning.
