Everything about the hotel was excellent, except room was extremely warm, even with radiators turned off and window slightly opened at its maximum

Beautiful property in walking distance to the main shopping area. Brilliant food served at the hotel with an exceptional breakfast. Hotel is stunning apart from a few we pain jobs needing done in the rooms and staircases. Absolutely recommend anyone to stay here.

It was a lovely hotel with a good bar and love the free parking. Would recommend.

We had a really enjoyable stay. All the staff were friendly and efficient. The breakfast was delicious, as was the meal we had in the bistro.
There was a good selection of drinks available at the bar, and the nightly entertainment was good fun.
The room was very clean and comfortable, and the pool looked very inviting, even though we didn't get a chance to use it this time.
We will definitely return sometime, as there is a lot more to explore in Westport.

The room was beautiful, breakfast was delicious. The location was ideal and on the plus side it had a nice workout area/gym.

Overall a great facility. Enjoyed the breakfast. Great location for walking the town and enjoying the pubs.
No air conditioning which is understandable, but was a bit warm in the room. Also, a lot of noise from the pub in the evening. The music did end by midnight.
Parking was very tight and challenging to get a car into the spaces.

Hotel has a really bizarre layout and seemed dated generally. The pool is part of a club that others in the community use. As a result it wasn’t as resort/family friendly as we are used to. For example our 11 year old needed to wear a swim cap while in the pool and wasn’t permitted to use the hot tub. A bit disappointing as she was looking forward to using a pool. Location is great though.

The hotel was beautiful and very walkable to restaurants and pubs. The breakfast was fresh and served quickly so we could get going on our way. The hotel and the room was very warm and was difficult to cool - the fan helped but I can’t imagine what it would be like in the summer.

A very comfortable stay. We didn't take the time to avail ourselves of the spa, gym and pool since we wanted to travel around in the region, but the hotel is quite well-equipped.

Excellent hotel, just a pity our view was to back overlooking bins and food entrance yard and lorry arrives at 7.am each morning. Food was excellent as were staff. My only gripe was in the bar/lounge at closing time being asked to stand for "the soldiers song" (Irish National Anthum.) I am not a bigot, have stayed in Donegal dozens of times, had holidays all over Europe and never heard a national song being played, surely Castlecourt Hotels Ireland needs to step out of the 1960/70s and move on in life.

My husband need high seat 2 sit on because of his disability. NO proper seats in front of hotel. Couches are so low and uncomfortable. Was work goin on in rnoom next dr. Very noisy

There is a breakfast buffet for things such as fruit, serial, croissants, juice. But you order your main breakfast from a menu and this is served to you.
The full irish breakfast was overcooked. It would be way better if they had a self service buffet, the best berakfast selections i have ever experienced are all in Scandinavian countries. Managemnet should have a look at this, much healthier and tastier, and less staff required. (I travel for a living, stayed in 30 hotels around scandanavia and Europe last year, so please take thus as a constructive observation).

A wonderful place to stay when in Westport, from friendly staff, centrally located, lovely clean rooms, comfortable beds, good food. Special mention to Alan on reservations who checked us in & out - friendly helpful guy - well done, great to have a staff so eager & helpful.

Castlecourt is ideally situated only 5 minutes walk from the centre of Westport town. The room was comfortable and the staff extremely helpful and friendly - especially the lady on reception who checked me in and sorted out a room change for me. The breakfast was lovely and again with great service.

We enjoyed our stay. The Hotel is lovely and has all the faciliities you could ask for in a break away. Including a Gym, Spa and swimming pool. The beds were very comfortable which would be a big thing for me, i love my sleep, the room was hot as there is no air conditioning but it was August. The food in the dining room wS lovely, the service was brutal in the dining room, wrong orders been brought to the table, confusion a d inexperienced staff seemed to let this one area down. Be prepared to speak up in this department.

This is a great place near the town centre. It has excellent public facilities including a terrific pool. The breakfast was superb. The only downside was our bedroom which was a bit tired.

The Castlecourt Hotel was a superb family friendly hotel. Rooms were spotless, comfortable and all recently modernised. The reception areas in the hotel were relaxed and comfortable and the food in May’s Bistro was excellent. Breakfast each morning was fresh and there was a fantastic range available. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. We will return to the hotel in future and highly recommend it to others.
