Such a nice spot. Going off season meant it was a little dead and restaurant wasn’t open but we knew that going in. The drive to Ithaca is nice and had tons of options for food. The hotel was really well taken care of, clean, cozy, a wonderful atmosphere.

A beautiful location nearby the Falls and easy access to winrrries at Csyuga and Seneca Lake. Only negative was poor water pressue particularly in the bathroom sink.

I felt the Inn at Taughannock was beyond my expectations. The gentleman at front who checked us in was so nice and friendly. All the staff were more than helpful. The grounds and facility were well taken care of and so lovely.

The setting is beautiful and our room was very nice. The restaurant is closed on Tuesdays but there was a really nice outdoor event under large tents with burgers, chips, and beer or wine as well as live music. I would definitely recommend.

We had a great stay - hotel property was beautiful, location was amazing! Beautiful views of the lake and short walk to the waterfalls.
Staff was very welcoming. Breakfast in the morning was delicious! My son especially enjoyed their freshly baked chocolate chip muffins!
We booked two rooms in the Lakeview building. Highly recommend!!

Nice place staff were great and attentive and the dinner was really good! Do the walk to the falls while there totally worth it! Only knock is the bed linens were rough/pilled and need to be replaced, the rug had a few stains and the chairs on the balcony were rusty. Room 71 in the LakeView house.

Wanted to hike and enjoyed the falls. Hotel room was clean and comfy. Arrived at 2:50, room not ready, check-in was at 3, so waited till 3:30 to check-in. Got to sit out and enjoyed the view while we waited. Breakfast first day was good, service great, second day was totally different. No eggs, coffee, toast, croissants were hard, no silverware, don’t know what was going on there. Rang the bell for service twice no one came, so then had to open kitchen door to get service, since you could hear them chatting. A little over-rated, I expected more. The area is lovely to visit.

The inn is historic and in beautiful condition. Comfy beds and immaculate bathrooms! The outdoor fire pits were lit when I arrived in the evening, and the bar was open and cozy. Great service at check-in!

We loved everything about this Inn. Although it was raining, we found plenty to do. The area was beautiful, as was the Inn itself. It was an easy walk from the Inn to the park. The trail to the falls was an easy walk, and did not disappoint. The area had many wineries, cideries and distilleries and restaurants. Breakfast at the Inn was good and included hot items as well as offer, fruit and pastries.

Room wasn’t really clean. Bedding wasn’t changed from last occupancy. The baseboard heater made a loud noise every night even though it was shut off. Called front desk about and nothing was done.

I loved the room we picked as it had a ton of space. I thought the views would be better based on the pictures but we had a tree lined view of the lake. The pool table needs chalk. Surprised the room was not cleaned during our stay.

I was excited about the outdoor seating areas, swimming, and property. Outdoor seating areas shown are of specific to certain houses on the property. Our house did not have anything like what was shown but did have an outdoor balcony, which was nice. If you are interested in swimming, it is at the state park across the road. Which was fine, but when we got there it was closed for the day.
We did walk to the falls, which was beautiful.
Our room was very nice and beds were comfortable.
Breakfast started at 8, and we left shortly after 7. We would have loved to take advantage of it but it didn’t work out.

Beautiful setting in quiet wooded area. The lodge rooms overlooking lake were awesome to look at every morning and evening from our balcony. The continental breakfast was delicious. Hot and cold foods, plenty of fruit. Soft quiet music while looking at the lake. Rooms were clean, beds comfortable and roomy. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing stay.

It's a great location and friendly staff. When booking, you just have to watch out for when restaurants are closed during the week, for example, a Tuesday or Wednesday.

We loved our room in Lakeview, the pull out bed was perfect for our 9 year old. Room was clean and well taken care of. We also loved how close it was to Taughannock Falls and Cayuga Lake. Hope we can visit again soon.

The Inn is a beautiful facility, with fantastic rooms and views of the lake. Location right beside Taughannock state park was a bonus. Each morning we were there, we walked the 25 minutes to the falls and enjoyed the spectacular view.
Burger Tuesday was great! Even with the heat and power outage.

Stayed one night for my daughter’s graduation at Cornell the next day the property is very nice. Parking is easy five minute walk to the park with the waterfalls. Great breakfast in the morning overlooking the lake
