The staff is outstanding working at a resort that is very aged and needs facility improvements.

Staff is always amazing

The entire resort leaked. Buckets everywhere on every floor in hallways, restaurants, lobby, etc. The food was horrible. Flies was all over the food. The drinks were extremely watered down. The room I had flooded because the balcony door did not close properly. I kept the balcony closed because I feared the ceiling fan above my bed would fall because the entire ceiling will flex up and down from breeze blowing into the room. I got stuck in the elevator between floors twice. This trip was a disaster.

As a adult resort it was not what I expected no type of adult activities after 10pm everything was shut down the bathroom wasn’t working right I call they never came to fix it and the force to sleep with the back porch door open because it couldn’t close properly

Such rude staffs with so much attitude and AC isn’t cooling in the room when you ask them to fix it they say all the rooms have standard temperature that is 24 degree celcius.Only the view is good and nothing else about this hotel honestly

OK Let me start with the Pros This place has a beautiful view of the ocean and a very nice section of the beach to itself. The restaurant, PIER 12, food is good! You should definitely try the calamari. Staff is amazing, very helpful and always accommodating and assisting us when needed. The drinks were FAIR depending on what you are drinking. They have a drink called the Golden Parnassus that was really good. Here are the CONS! (They only allow 1500 characters) The rooms/hotel is very very outdated. Upon my arrival we were given an option for a room on the 3rd or 1st floor, I took the 3rd floor because I had a balcony view. Staff member said the room was not ready because they had members transfer to the ocean view room so to patiently wait. So as we ate at Pier 12 and came back and the room was ready it made sense why the guest transferred to a different room. That room was so damn hot and we put the AC on the lowest level and it was still hot. The balcony was hot and the table, the chair, everything was scratched off. The mirror in the bathroom had mold on it as well. Eventually we requested another room and we went to the 1st floor. The 1st floor room was slightly better as the ac worked and as long as I was cool I can survive. 1 thing I noticed between both rooms is that the electrical outlets were in different spots. Don't leave food out in your room for bugs. Now the hotel itself was sooo damn hot. One elevator working Wall leakages. Pool was very warm even at night.

Not what I expected

Rooms smelled musty and humid that made the bedsheets feel wet at all times. We booked 3 rooms and the ac was not working at all for 2/3 rooms. We found dead cockroach in the bathroom. Food options were very limited. A lot of events that were mentioned on the website did not happen! Restaurants were shut down for construction and the hours did not match the website hours!

The food is sub-par, the air conditioning was not very cool, one elevator was broken our entire stay. He he staff was super friendly and helpful, they were 5 stars! The food was just so bad.

Likes: Awesome staff. No lines or reservations for dinners. Extremely clean. Poolside and beachside waitress. No kids. Great beach with palapas and great view from infinity pool. Beach bar and poolside bar. Comfortable beds and great view from ocean view rooms. Pier 12 and The Barn. Paradise buffet had good breakfast lunch and is open for late night. Free room service. This is a small old resort that has a mom n pop feel to it. Don’t come with the fancy corporate expectations but if you like a beautiful beach and a top notch hospitality then you’re going to like it. Ps. Keep the curtains closed, the bathroom door closed and crank the ac as low as it can go and it will stay cool.

The accommodations did not meet my expectations. I checked out immediately due to the lack of air conditioning and the presence of an old drink left by the room cleaning staff. There were no towels available, and the person assigned to our room did not respond to phone calls. While the establishment has potential, it is evident that there is a lack of proper management. Additionally, the photographs provided on the website do not accurately represent the actual conditions.

Worst food, A/C in room never worked, run down, broken elevators, poor quality adult beverages and again - WORST FOOD we've experienced in Mexico after 20 visits. Urine around the toilet at check in. I can write paragraphs.

This place by no means meets the description of a all inclusive resort. This is more like a hole in the wall motel. No AC anywhere. AC in room did not cool. Linen on bed had stains. Towels had stains. Mold in ceiling in room and in buffet areas. If you want to sweat while you eat, this is the place to go. Absolutely outdated everything. Big rusty industrial fan was blowing in our face at the buffet. Roach was near the bread. Knats all over fruit. Dirty fabric napkins.. We left after one night. Would have left the same day if possible. Furniture extremely old. Chairs and sofas in common seating areas old and peeling. Look like they came straight out of a heavy trash pile. Floor in our room was sweating from humidity and heat, it was constantly wet and slippery. The most horrible experience ever. I honestly would have never thought something like this existed in the all inclusive industry. Last but not least, if you want to relax after all the stress of seeing all these things, go to the poolside bar and get you a drink made with the cheapest liquor you can think of, from a plastic bottle, and sit in one of the dirty chairs, but don't dare get in that nasty pool.

Horrible experience rooms are very dated and filthy liens are all stained with who knows what only 1 restaurant was available to dine in other than the food hall phones don’t work in rooms pool and pool chairs are filthy not enough pool towels for guest no lighting in pool area what so every front desk doesn’t help with anything told us we didn’t have a reservation then told us they would give us our room which was a deluxe ocean view on the 5th floor then turns out our room wasn’t available because of a leakage so they moved us into a molded room on the 2nd floor to then put us in another room on the 6th floor that had a stained jacuzzi tub with yellow water so we couldn’t use that at all stayed 5 days and they only cleaned our room twice and wouldn’t give use additional towels also the AC didn’t work very well

Do not stay here. No air conditioning! Very old and run down building. Front desk tried to shake me down for an extra $65 per night to get a king bed with air conditioning. I paid for a king bed with air conditioning through Expedia???? If you like eating in very hot restaurants without fans or AC then this is the place for you!!! Dirty hotel. Unsafe with lots of falling concrete. You will regret staying here. I have stayed in around 40 different Cancun resorts and this is the worse by far!!!!

Very little AC in the room, very hot, could not sleep and had to check out the next day. Only one functioning elevator.

We have stayed in over 100 properties with Expedia VIP and this wad the worst. Run down rooms, food was terrible. Chairs in VIP room almost fell through when sitting in them. Room smell of mildew. We asked if could leave right after checking in but would not refund the first night. We went to the Ocean Royale Maya and was much better. I would not stay here for free down the road. The positives were the beach view and the staff were nice but nothing else was worth it. Magement needs to help staff make this be something worth going to nonetheless A VIP room which we were supposedly. Expedia made it right though. Thank you!

Many broken items in room,such as door not even locking, toilet tank kept getting stuck, shower door coming out of place if moved.

Amazing

This hotel was a a disaster! Dirty, dilapidated, moldy, roach infested, etc... this hotel is not a seven star hotel at all!!! The staff is wonderful, i would give them that! I hate to see hard work go to waste as the hotel take their hard work for granted!

This is the worst place to stay. It’s very dirty and everything. It’s old and nothing nothing work. The shower doesn’t work. The door for the balcony doesn’t open.

This place had good and attentive staff but it needs an overhaul. Very run down and old. Also it was extremely hot in the common areas with barely to no air conditioning. The drinks were terrible, it was like there wasn’t any alcohol in them at all and they had a funny taste. I think they water the alcohol down with something.

I enjoyed my stay here. Wish there were more variety of activities and food but besides that i enjoyed it!

The staff is amazing. 10 stars for the staff, but the facilities need to be upgraded and updated ASAP. If it was not for the staff and their excellent service, I would give it a 1 star rating. The staff makes this place enjoyable. The owners should be ashamed that they make the staff work in this environment.
