American style motel. Our room was good but we didn't sleep as we were on the ground floor next to the external stairs to the other floors. As this motel was in the middle of an industrial estate people had to use taxis etc to get to it after their night out. These pulled up outside our room every 10/20 mins as people came home. It was about 3/3:30 the last one turned up.
Then about 5:30 a group of men who were getting up to either go to work or go home after staying here started to shout to each other from the balcony/walkway above asking where their drill was and other tools. After they had finished others where getting up to go early and where dragging cases down the stairs ways.
So all in all not an enjoyable experience.
There was no-one in reception as we left to say anything to just a box to drop off your keycard.

Stayed with my 8 year old daughter. Booked online. When i arrived i had to pay a £50 deposit ( still not got back, which also wasnt stated before paying for the booking)
I was then asked for ID for my daughter? Which made no sense at all. If im traveling with my daughter, why should i have to show you her passport, we are not leaving the country.
Then when i got into the room, finally, i soon realised that there was nothing actually in the room worth £50 so the deposit was unnecessary.
Kettle lid wasnt even attatched (room 47, go check)
Holes in the curtains.
Absolutely freezing cold all night in the room, even with the heater on ( the heater looked older than my nan, and shes in her 80's)
I must have slept about 2 hours.
daughter didnt sleep great either..
I checked out on sunday just gone, was told deposit would be returned to account at 1pm.
Its now tuesday, 12pm. Still not recieved.

Awful place, only booked as Travel lodge/Premier inn hotels were silly money. Hotel so dated and grubby, took 5 minutes for the water drain in the bath when I was having a shower, it also felt creepy, I was expecting Norman Bates knock on the door in the night, and when I woke there was a spider dangling over my bed.

basic cheap hotel, chalet style rooms beds and bathroom, snall niggles needs to replace pillow's some had stuffing sticking out, bath towels very short ok if you're shinny or won't hide much lol bathroom shower could do with some modernisation nice reception area nice bar, and miles drive to two major retail park with all the major food outlets, and two petrol station's next-door, basic room's but cheap and end day good stop over point,

Yes, it was a great price and only one night.
But it was like walking back into the 80s. Everything was from that time zone, light fitting, desk area, tiling in bathroom etc.
There were cobwebs in corner off the roof. Discoloured paint in area's and black mould.
Bed cover had a rip in it too.
Overall cheap room with the discount I got. But so old and dated, it needs a full refit. I wouldn't want to stay again, I would pay an extra £10 to stay up the road next time.

I stayed at the Campanile Hotelnin Wakefield for 10 nights, because I was working 30 minutes away. The Hotel room was very comfortable with all my basic needs, Ensuite, hairdryer, kettle tea, coffeeetc, TV.
The staff at reception wer3 friendly and I could request more tea milk etc or rewuest for my room to cleaned after 3 days. I did not ne3d to use thr Hotel restaurant but it was there if zi needed it. Above all it was free and safe parking on site.
Kind regards Karuna Raina

Extremely small room,no air conditioning,tv not good separate reception and restaurant in another building
3.0 / 5.0
The hotel is a bit run down but fairly clean. It’s your basic motel in a carpark with a separate reception building with restaurant. It’s located in the middle of an industrial park and across the canal from a recycling site which unfortunately has a motion activated security tannoy system which set of a loud announcement several times evey night. The hotel doesn’t have aircon so if you need the windows open ask for a room at the front. There was also a noticeable smell of bins from the recycling site.

Sorry for all a good experience. The rooms are of a good size. The bathrooms are a good size. It's in a okay location. My only real complaint would be the rooms get very warm but reception was kind enough to give me a fan so top marks for customer service

Room clean and comfortable but could do with some updating, particularly the bathroom. Easy to park, but is on an industrial estate and i wouldn't want to walk back to it in the dark. Was quiet, no noise issues with the estate, but my room was adjacent to the carpark and did get woken up early by cars leaving. Has a bar until 10.30.

Quite hotel in out of the way area with plenty of space and nice reception which included a dining area for evening meals and breakfasts. Room has a reasonable space and bathroom. Will need a car to get there as the main shopping centre is 5 minutes away.

Great budget friendly hotel. We stay here quite regularly when visiting Wakefield. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Check-in always quick, easy and straightforward. Good location and quiet on a night. Little bit dated but always clean and tidy.

They was mold on my ceiling in my room which wasn't a pleasant view to wake up to.
Breakfast was average. Hotel isn't as close to the city centre as I thought.

A lovely nights stay, appreciated the bath!

It was budget it all but price. Very dated and not overly clean. Dusty tops to soap dispensers and lights, grout missing in tiling and lighting falling off the wall. Comfy bed, but squeaky and the room smelt a little fusty. I have stayed in a Campanile before in a different location and that was better kept (Doncaster). Staff fine and friendly. I didn't have any food, so can't comment. Car park helpful to me. Over paid in my opinion, £119 for 2 nights, considering location and condition.
