The Property was amazing, but not more than the staff! Staff members were kind, helpful and so generous with advices and tips on local sites, restaurants etc. Shoutout to the morning and afternoon staff!

The front desk staff were extremely friendly, the room was exactly as listed and the location was perfect.

We had a lovely stay at Porto del Colombo! It’s such a quaint little hotel with windy stairs - but yet fully equipped and airconditioned rooms right at the centre of Chania. Just a two minute walk takes you to the beautiful port. The staff was so sweet and helpful. Would definitely recommend a stay!

A gem! Wonderful staff, excellent location, bountiful breakfast. Eva, Rula and Visilikis were all delightful and very helpful. They even carried my heavy bag up three flights of stairs! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Porto Del Colombo is an historic building in the heart of the Old Town. Each room is different and some rooms have a mezzanine type level containing bed and settee. The dining room is in the basement but is full of character and has a door leading out on to the footpath outside. A truly different Hotel!

The hotel is located in a great location inside the old City of Chania. The staff was very friendly, and the receptionist explained us in details where to hang out and also helped us order a trip to Samaria gorge. Thank you!

Great location in Chania, nice room (room 6) although it is on the 3rd floor and the hotel has no lift, everyone very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was excellent, freshly squeezed orange to start with, cereal, eggs & bacon, cakes etc. Would definitely stay here again

Friendly staff who are always happy to help. Hotel is somewhat older and basic but comfortable and situated in a fantastic area just off the marina.

Lovely traditional hotel in a fabulous location for the old town and harbour. Very quiet despite being in the heart of the old town. We had a lovely view of the lighthouse from our room. Roula and the other staff were exceptionally welcoming and helpful. They helped us arrange excursions and taxis and provided local information. The breakfast buffet is very good and served in a charming room. Just a word of caution, due to the nature of the building, there are lots of stairs and no lift so book a lower floor if you are not good with stairs. Wonderful Cretan hospitality.

This is a fantastic little hotel, situated in a wonderful old historical building. The overall atmosphere is great, as well as the room (I had) on the top floor with great views over the harbour and the surrounding houses. Service is excellent with really nice staff and breakfast is really good. The only negative, at least for some people, is the steep stairs and lack of elevator. But this is only to expect in a historical old building! Would definately stay here again if I could!

Excellent location, spacious clean rooms, courteous and friendly staff, excellent breakfast.BUT too many stairs, especially for us seniors. Our room was on second floor and to go for breakfast it was one floor below the main floor. The lady at the reception offered to carry our luggage up two floors but I was not comfortable letting a lady do that. I ended carrying our luggage up two floors, a bit hard for a seventy year young man. If you dont mind stairs it is an excellent place to stay. The staff helped us in every other way they could including arranging a tour, printing our boarding passes. I would recommend this to fellow travelers.

A colleague and I stayed at this hotel while attending a conference. The room was comfortable and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again if I were to visit Chania in the future.

The staff at this hotel were very friendly and welcoming. Our room was beautiful, clean and very comfortable, and the whole hotel had plenty of charm. The location was excellent, in the middle of China, two minutes walk from the port, and a short walk to the market, docks and main tourist and night life areas.

It was our first visit to Crete an in Greece in general and we were very pleased by our 10 days stay at this tiny (10 rooms only!) charming & romantic hotel. The interior of the hotel and the rooms (we saw the other 3 rooms as well) have an old Venetian atmosphere which is not surprising for a place built 650 years ago :) We lived on the 3rd floor and steep stairs kept us fit especially after abundant Cretan meals.The breakfasts were only 4 EUR p/person but nicely done by a charming lady :) The whole staff was actually the best I've ever met, very caring, friendly and informative. Many thanks and my respect to them all! The town itself, at least its old part also left only pleasant feelings, restaurants were nice, the food was fresh and tasty. We liked the tiny small kraft-shops on our street a lot. I've already recommended this hotel and the town for a nice relaxing holiday to all my friends and relatives :)
