Chose as was close to the station. Easy checkin . Room is compact but for the price was fine. The one negative is they have scaffolding up and at 8am the workmen started banging right next to the window waking us up. I don’t know if it’s possible to get them to wait until 10am or give a room without scaffolding.

This location is ideal for visitors arriving by train from London as it is EASY walking distance and minutes by taxi; there is a stand close by. During our six day at this location we marveled at how friendly and exceedingly helpful the staff were. The hotel is close to IKEA as well!

I checked in late on Thursday due to a late flight and then a late bus. The man on reception checked me in efficiently.
My room was on the ground floor right at the end. As a female travelling on my own this wasn't ideal and, if it had been earlier and I hadn't been travelling for eight hours I might have asked to change but as I was going to be in the room for less than 12 hours it didn't matter too much.
The room set up is a little odd with the toilet seperate from the sink and shower. For what I paid for this room though I can't really complain. It is a 5-10 min walk from the coach station and about 15 min walk from Horizon Terminal which is where I was headed.

This hotel is perfect for a short stay. Check in was easy, clean, basic but very nice room. My only negative is that there must be some sort of industrial works nearby as it was noisy most of the night which disturbed sleep.

Extremely basic hotel, no real welcome. Room only had one inconveniently located power point. Bed was very hard and uncomfortable (and i prefer a firm mattress). Very noisy when window was opened as there was no other ventilation, didn't realise we were overlooking a drive-thru McDonalds, so constant noise from their AC/filters/kitchens. Only good for a last minute one night stay when nothing else is available.

Felt as if we were being gouged. Regular price is less than half of what we paid because it was a port say. Bare bones...barest we've stayed in for the price. Rooms are tiny.

The room was lovely and clean. Unfortunately the cold air was not working so it was horrendously hot during the night. The fan in the room was filled with dust so we didn't use that.

One to avoid… uncomfortable bed, dated with sock stains on the carpet in hallways. Bed uncomfortable and mattress heavily stained/dirty.

It’s perfect for a basic hotel, it was walking distance to a lot of places and had dining options next door or close by
There was only one double plug socket so if you need to charge more than 2 things then It wasn’t ideal - a suggestion would be to add USB points in the room but other than that it was clean and tidy and the room was in good condition

Ideal location for port terminals, only problem was parking. Just not enough parking to accommodate everyone, but hotel itself was ideal for our needs.

Stalk super friendly and helpful! Facility is old and worn but clean. Rooms can be warm as there is no real AC. Rooms are small. Okay for a short stay especially if staying the night before a cruis. Convenient to the cruise terminals.

Overall the room was fine except it was very hot in the room and the air temperature control didn't appear to do anything. Also, the room was at the back of the hotel overlooking McDonalds air vent which was very noisy all night long.

Very small room, limited AC and felt compacted in this double with a bunk. Room was clean, staff was friendly, but limited dining options were good. McDonalds right next door for breakfast at a decent cost. Train station is walkable, but port is not. Overall, a satisfactory stay but would prefer a hotel with bigger rooms and more amenities.

The pros: cheap hotel, comes with continental breakfast, near a TGIFridays, close to the train station and cruise port.
The cons: the futon-type mattress is thin and not very comfortable, curtains were dirty and had rips, which makes the room appear to be in poor condition.

Overall is ok. location is close to train station. Air condition can not adjust 21 deg C inside my room and it is not cool enough. Breakfast area is small.

I like that its near the shopping complex, in the city centre close to many amenities.
I am 67 years old and my knees are not so good, i prefer a room on ground floor because the lift has not been reliable, sometimes I walked to 4th floor.
