The wifi is on and off, it is not possible to google anything by using hotel's wifi, it is unbelievable that a 3 star hotel is not able to provide a stable wifi to customers nowadays.

We had a great stay for the Christmas markets. The executive suite had a big and comfortable cot for our 1 year old and our 3 year old loved the sofa bed. Everyone was so happy that they slept really well. Our family normally doesn’t sleep so well on holidays with us all in one room - but on this occasion the kids loved the space so much they slept brilliantly.
We stayed in room 402 and it had a great view of the trains coming and going at the main station. Great soundproofing too - couldn’t hear at all.

Amazing location nearby the entrance to the old city. Easy to access. Unfortunately the service was not what I’m used to for a Novotel. Also it seemed to me a little but over-priced. Breakfast buffet was pretty good and complete.

One night stay during summer holidays on our way to our destination. Executive room with 2 adults and 2 kids. Perfectly clean and tidy rooms. Nice and quiet and good hard beds. Good breakfast. Car charger available for guests. Airconditioning worked very well, nice and cool. Walking distance to the Altstad. All perfect.

The internet signal was bad - often no signal. The reception said they would send a tecnician but never did. Glutenfree (allergic) options were the worst that we have experienced in a hotel. Bread as hard as stone. The day we were going to check out and leave the cleaning lady came 8:30?! There were blood on the toilet wall when we came.
The pool was great though.

Excellent location close to Old town, the lake, Rail station and Opera House. Loved both saunas (great views), swimming pool and gym. Very nice breakfast, fresh ingredients, amazing salmon. I was allowed to take some food into the room as my husband and children were still asleep on the first morning. Very grateful for that!!! Also, I asked for an extra hour to stay (if possible) on our last day, which was kindly granted by Cem, who worked in the reception that morning. He was very professional and well mannered. Always worth asking twice as the team, who worked in the evening wasn’t so sympathetic, they just said ’NO’ not even in the polite way. Simply rejected my request without even trying. Thank you Cem!!!

We did not have enough towels also no cosmetic products like Q-Tips. We needed to ask
For rope and slippers at the front desk. Poor that it’s not prepared in the rooms. Housekeeping walked into our room while we had the „do not disturb“ sign out. The towels didn’t matched together and looked super old and well used.
The mattress was super hard and the pillows too soft.
The pool was ice cold and the front desk told us that it’s not much heated because of the emery crises.
If I had known that, I had booked another hotel. But it was clean and the stuff were friendly.
I won’t stay again.

I appreciate the heated bathroom but my experience was marred by several issues. Our room, accommodating three people, only had one pair of slippers and a robe. Furthermore, the bathroom was out of bath soap, realising we had to call up housekeeping then discovered the phone was also not working! The internet connectivity was poor, constantly kicking us out. Despite having a coffee machine, no capsules were provided. The hair dryer was also non-functional. To add to the discomfort, the pillows were flat and uncomfortably soft. Overall, a disappointing stay with multiple amenities not up to standard.

Novotel is a great place to stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The wellness area was an added bonus. The only thing that could be improved was the fact that when we were in the spa area the towels were all out. Also, the floor was very slippery and you had to step carefully, so as to not slip.

Average hotel. Beds are incredibly comfortable for what seems like a slightly upper end hotel. The pool was ice cold and blowing air conditioner on full blast so kids couldn't swim for long. Disappointed by the pool and bed mostly. I mean Novotel, spend some money and buy proper memory foam pillows. Who doesn't have good pillows in a hotel? Breakfast was nice and hotel has decent value for it's location but I'd avoid this hotel if you find a comparable price and location!
