Clean rooms wonderful breakfast and front desk always helpful whether you need bags left or advice on tours or even calling to book on your behalf. Location is also walking distance from town and very convenient

The staff were incredible welcoming and kind. The hotel is located in the back of La fortuna, but extremely walkable. I enjoyed the quiet street! The breakfast was so yummy! Not to mention the view from my room! I had a direct view of the volcano :)

This is such a perfect place. Super friendly staff, extremely clean property looks brand new, amazing view from our room and you can walk to a ton of restaurants, shops, markets, anything you would need. I definitely recommend this hotel!

Amazing hotel!! There are beautiful views of the volcano from this hotel! The rooms are clean and very comfortable. Breakfast is great. Staff are extremely kind and helpful. We had a miscommunication with a tour pickup and staff helped us call the tour and figure things out. Staff truly went out of their way to make sure we had an amazing experience! 10/10 would stay again and again

From check-in to check-out and everything in between the staff was awesome. We stayed in Room 17, the room is a little on the small size with a double bed but we made it work. Room was clean and fresh. Breakfast is not buffet style, it is made to order. You have to place your order the night before. There are about 3 to 4 breakfast options.
I would definitely stay here again just in a larger room with a Queen or King bed.

Everyone was super nice and helpful, rooms were very clean and hotel is safe and has a gate to get in and out which is locked and needs to be open by staff to get let in. I truly recommend staying here it was a pleasure and for how good it was it was also affordable

It's in town, but not on the main road, so a little quieter. We had a great view of the volcano. This hotel's other name is Treebu Hotel, so some people got confused. If you have a tour operator picking you up, give both names.

Carlos greeted us and was very polite, friendly and helpful. The hotel is nicely decorated with lots of sitting areas. our room was clean and comfortable. We had a great view of the Arenal volcano from our balcony. The room has ac and ceiling fan and quiet. Walking distance to restaurants and shops yet the hotel is tucked away from traffic noise. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety to choose from. We will definitely return to La Fortuna! Lodge!

Very good hotel for the price. The staff were helpful and friendly, the hotel is nice and safe and has great views of the volcano. The breakfast options are good and large to set you up for the day. Would definitely recommend for people wanting to stay in La Fortuna. Was definitely nice to have so many restaurants on the doorstep.

The view from the top terrace patio was beautiful and it was comfortable to sit outside and nature watch and talk with other travelers. The staff was so helpful and nice. The breakfast options were varied. I needed some down time so sat and read on the terrace with a lovely view and protection from the rain. The staff facilitated a tour for me including transportation. A terrific!

This is a beautiful property. Everything is very clean and the gardens are pristine. There are several outdoor seating areas around the property to enjoy. Breakfast each morning was incredible and you won't find a staff more helpful and welcoming. We loved all of their dining suggestions. We hope to visit again soon.

It’s a basic hotel with the ability to walk around Fortuna. The room is okay. Bed is comfortable. Not much room to sit after you find a place for luggage. AC is strong but it was blowing at me the entire night. Bathroom is clean. Limited counter space. We don’t travel light so the staff helped us to bring luggage upstairs.

The property was very clean. It took two maids to unlock my door and I was there 4 nights and it was not fixed. The safe in the room was broken and no safe place for passport was provided. All of the places surrounding and including the hotel were gated. Manager has agreement with local transportation and it is expensive.

The hotel is right in towm with tons of restaurant/bars that are walkable. Our room was clean and the staff was super friendly. Karol was very nice and could answer all our questions. We felt very safe during our stay. Would definitely stay here again !

This is a hidden gem. The website does not do the property justice. It's 2 blocks from the main "drag" in La Fortuna, so it's quiet. If you're lucky enough to get a room facing Arenal, the views of the volcano are incredible. Rooms are super comfortable and staff is great. Included breakfast is a great perk. I feel really lucky we stumbled upon this place.

Great hotel. The location was perfect. We could walk to restaurants and grocery stores. The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. We had a balcony that overlooked the volcano. The common areas were clean and very inviting. Breakfast was an added bonus!

I loved the design , beautiful, & clean. Lovely staff at front desk & breakfast, They booked a tour for me & other transportation. So nice. Loved the breakfast & choices. So convenient to walk into town, 10 min. Many places for shopping & eating. Beautiful park in the center of town. Gorgeous plants.
