Exceptional host who gave me local tips once I told him my next stop was Mokpo as he had lived there. Having now visited Mokpo using his tips, I am very grateful to him for the help!
He also let me keep my luggage at the property until my train in the evening, plus sheltered me from the rain in the common room, gave me tea and snacks.
The accommodation was lovely, too.

Thank you very much to Mr Kenny Kim for being an excellent, attentive host who very kindly provided a free excursion to a Buddhist monestary alongside top notch breakfasts

It is located 50 meters away from the police station, so the security was unquestionably good.
It is located 100m away from Jeonju Station, so mobility and convenience were great, and it was also close to the Hanok Village.
It was comfortable with a room is over more than 100 square feet (larger than the price) and a bathroom.
Also, with the low price and free coffee and breakfast in the morning, the original plan was to stay for 1 night, but they succeeded in enticing me to stay for 3 nights.
The last big advantage was the care provided by the owner, who was kind, kind, and considerate.
It was my own cheap 5-star motel with nothing more to ask for.
The initial reservation was for 1 night, but it continued to increase to 2 nights and then 3 nights.
It was disappointing that my 3-day stay was too short.

Location 5min easy walk from train station & 2min to local bus stop. Host was attentive, responsive and informative and helped he spoke good English and interested. Food recommendation was great bean sprout soup - host even rang them to tell them not to make the food too spicy for me !! I was treated so special, the ladies took such good care, I had to go again. Breakfast and coffee was a lovely bonus for the price. Room had everything you needed.
I liked everything

Mr.Lee is incredible! He was always helping guests, suggesting good tips and taking care of our needs. Rooms were clean, good facilities and nice breakfast with a view to the neighborhood. I totally recommend!

Mr/Mrs Kim are people who cannot do enough for you, kind, generous & helpful. Their hostel is a few minutes walk from the train station & easy bus ride to the nearby touristy Hanock Village. Buses are an easy walk from the hostel for further journeys & places to eat are nearby via foot. A nice breakfast is served to you & your room has AC & fan for your comfort plus spotlessly clean. Mr Kim speaks very good English & we learned a lot about life in Korea. A stay here will not disappoint & we highly recommend.

The hostel is 5 minutes walking from the train station, and their is a good bus connection to the tourist center of Jeonju. Although it was not mentioned in the reservation, we and all other guests got a rich breakfast.
Our room was rather empty. We had a futon room. The futon was very thin, i.e definitely thinner than we got in another hostel in Korea and thinner than what we are used for from our journeys through Japan. In addition to beddings, we had just a clothes rack without hangers and a small, d fridge. We got water upon request. The chief of the hostel spoke English very well. Unfortunately, he abused his skill. We asked him, where we could find good restaurants. He recommended a vegan restaurant, told us what to eat and followed us on his bike, apparently to check whether we followed his advice. Since we are not vegetarians, ŵe had dinner in another restaurant nearby.

It is my second time in this hostel. It is well located, right next to the train station and in front of the bus stop to go to Jeonju express bus terminal, but also the Hanok Village etc.
The rooms are simple, cleans and comfortables. They include AC, a mini fridge, hairdryer, clean towels everyday... With a nice private bathroom.
The homemade breakfast is delicious (toasts, egg and ham, apple slices, cereales, homemade jam, juice, tea, coffee...).
You can cook and eat in the beautiful kitchen, with a nice view over the city, or go to one of the many restaurants around.
But as always, the best thing is the owners. M. and Mrs Kim are the nicest person you will meet, and they will do all they can to make your trip confortable.
They even invited us to eat a delicious pork barbecue with them!
If you want a simple and nice family hostel, this is the place for you :)
I will come back again!

we had the most amazing stay. Even though we came into jeonju much later than anticipated we had a warm welcome. The room had been preheated and meticulously clean as was the bathroom. But this probably can be found elswhere, too if one is lucky. But what is so exceptional is the owner. He truly makes you feel welcome like a member of the family, gives so much valuable advice. His wife made delicious breakfast, including homemade jam. A lovely rooftop breakfast room with a view are very nice and completely unexpected extras. On top of all we were given a lift to the Hanok Village. Really amazing experience of hospitality! Highly recommended!

One of the best places we've stayed in our 7 months in S.E. Asia so far. Kenny, the host, is so hospitable and nice - he will do anything for you as well as chat about Korean culture, food and anything else. The place is in a great location, super clean and has a kitchen too! Highly recommended.
Nothing to dislike at all.

It was short but really awesome stay. The owner of the place is super kind and friendly! We shared some stories about my country and Korea. It was super nice to chat with him for few hours. The place is super clean and has eveything you need. Recommended for sure! 😇

The host was really nice and pretty good at english. The room was big enough with TV, hairdryer, shower gel and shampoo and floor heating. The kitchen was big with a nice view and the breajfast was really good (egg, bacon, toast, cereals, orange juice, milk, tea/coffee/hot chocolatr, apple, butter and jam).

The owner is really king and helpful.
The room and bathroom are clean, and good breakfast.
It was a nice moment.

The owner was really kind and helped us a lot. He helped us ordering stuff only, washed our laundry, shared his food with us, cooked together with us on a late night, gave us a lot of tips and emotional support. Through his stories he could always bring a smile onto our face. Would definitely recommend 10/10!

The staff was very friendly and was kind enough to change our room type when we had accidentally booked a room with futons. The room was clean and spacious and the location was conveniently right next to the train station.
Just note that if you book the room with "futons" it is sleeping on the floor with small mattress. Nothing bad to say about this property.
4.7
Staff was very kind and helpful. Speaks english as well. Extremely close to all forms of transportation.
Small, but that isn’t important.
4.7
The kindness and availability of the staff. The conviviality, where you can meet other people staying there over breakfast.

There was nothing not to like.

warm welcome from the owner, that provided useful information and allow me to park into his private covered parking during a heavy snow fall, the shared kitchen is convenient and the breakfast with egg and bacon is very nice. good value for money.
it is simple but with everything I was needing.

The place was great! Owner was super helpful and friendly, answering all my questions about the area. Very cozy place with a good central location to get wherever you need. Would stay here again next time I go to Jeonju.
