Nice hotel and friendly staff

Overall good stay. Good location on the hill 5 minutes walk to the restaurants, coffee shops in the area. Clean hotel. Good Breakfast and Very good service.

This hotel is very nice and clean. The people working the front desk were very nice. There was a bit of a language barrier, however I was able to book a great tour pretty last minute thanks to them. The bummer was the breakfast staff. They were pretty rude, would ask for your room number even if they knew you were staying there. They ran out of coffee two mornings in a row and acted like I was crazy for wanting some at 8 a.m.?? The location was also a huge downfall after staying much closer to the centro. It is a bit of an uphill walk after a night out, and pretty dark and quiet for medellin :(

Mr Felipe Restrepo TERRIBLE welcoming & engagement with Bad attitude and unwilling to help or make our stay pleasant. Fortunately, mr. Didier Montoya did. He was very nice, professional, kind and helpful. Things you expect to receive from a hotel staff. We had to switch rooms because of an issue with the AC and the blow dry but of course mr Montoya made de arrangements.

I had a terrible experience staying at that hotel. I found two cockroaches in my room. The front reception told me that I needed to speak to their boss. But, the boss refused to speak to me about it. Instead, when I waited for him to arrive, he never did, and instead called the police to escort me out of the building. I never caused any kind of commotion to warrant that type of treatment. There are many other hotels on this site with the same or better value. Epic, Dann Carlton, Park Royale (sp?) are all better choices.

The hotel is in a nice location, not too far from Parque Lleras or Calle 10. The staff are very nice but not too many speak English very well. The room card loses charge if you go too far from the hotel (even within the city) and you have to recharge it at reception every time you come back and that is very annoying. The water is hot, which is nice, however it’s not consistent so it’ll be hot for 10 seconds then cold for a few seconds then hot again so be careful for that nasty surprise when showering. The hotel breakfast is nice, the same food offerings daily but it’s not bad, plus the fresh orange juice is a nice touch. We had a miscommunication issue with the staff that I felt was poorly handled by the hotel and I only found out during checkout at 3:00am when I had to be at the airport for my flight out. I was really disappointed in how they handled the issue as both my fiancé and I had made sure we were told one thing and to find out at checkout that it in fact was another thing. It became and he said she said and the person who told us originally was not on shift so there was nothing we can do since he did not write anything down...apparently. Pretty sure there’s video at reception and you can review it but they decided not to. Overall I’d give this hotel a 2.5/5. We stayed for 10 nights.

The location and the quietness. Very quiet place I loved it, the breakfast was good

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel at all, so many things was wrong.. the walls was soo thin that u can hear everything around, the room didn’t have basic stuff such as a hanger to hang your towels on, so we end up trowing our wet towels on the table. The breakfest was ok, location kinda off near el Poblado, if u want to hike to get there. Didn’t feel any welcoming from the staff, but that’s maybe because they didn’t speak any English.

Nice small hotel about a 10 minute walk to Parque Lleras. Staff was very friendly and helped us a lot. Plenty of hot water and good wifi. Breakfast was good too. Great deal for the money!@!

After the initial problem with the safe not working everything else was fine. Staff is friendly and kind. The hotel is clean. Breakfast was good.

It’s a very clean hotel located up the hill and away from the hubbub. It’s an easy walking to town but keep in mind it’s definitely uphill. The front desk staff spoke enough English to get by. The rooms were simple and small but very comfortable. The morning breakfast was more than adequate but you want to get there before 9:30 otherwise they start to run out of things. I would like to point out that when you leave for the day be sure to turn on the housekeeping light when leaving your room otherwise they may not service it.

Room was very clean but bathroom a bit small. Buffet breakfast was good however would prefer if staff did not hover around you when you are choosing your breakfast. Yes and coffeee in room would be an improvement. Good area only short walk to el poblado with lots of bars and restaurants

The hotel is located in a nice area the sfaff is very helpful! The rooms are small we only stayed for 3 days it worked good

The staff was very friendly and helpful. While the room and bathroom are small, they were comfortable and very clean. The price was exceptional.

Our first visit to Colombia and we were extremely happy with our hotel stay. Wonderful staff and facility and very comfortable spacious room. Breakfast had lots of fruit, eggs, side dishes, something for everyone. In a quiet neighborhood and easy walking distance to restaurants, shops and parks. Very lush neighborhood, we felt safe walking around even in the evening and the view from the room was nice..

Set a short walk up from the bustling part of Poblado, this practically new hotel is spotless and comfortable. The breakfast is decent with some fresh fruit options, eggs, pastries and some meat. Head and shoulders above everything though, was the service. Everybody at the hotel went out of their way to assist us with any request, random as could be. A few nitpicky comments, like the lack of hooks to hang out towels or clothes and a bathroom door that was a little tough to close would not diminish my recommendation. I would go back next time I'm in Medellin.

Hotel amazing, staff amazing, free breakfast, but its a hard walk up a hill away from the main tourist area...and honestly, this hotel should have been developed as condos....

Close to everything

It's a bit of a walk from the main area, I personally enjoyed the walk as it goes through a nice neighborhood. The first day a breakfast was a buffet with good variety one and the next it was by order and small. It's good deal for the money anyway.

Great hotel. Great service! Brand new and wifi is super fast. Only downsides are: bathrooms are small and there are NO hooks for towels. Management should install

The hotel appears to be still under construction in some places. Some of the staff are pleasant. Some are not. The evening manager is nice and speaks some English. The rest of the staff does not. The bed was comfortable and the look of the hotel is pretty. Hot water is inconsistent, so be careful - you could be showering pleasantly and then all of a sudden get boiled. Again, however, the bathroom is pretty. TV may work, or it may not. Hopefully you know a thing or two about selecting inputs. Otherwise you are out of luck. If you do, then there is a good selection of channels. As the hall is all tile and the doors are not sound-proofed, everything happening in the hallway is heard in your room. Biggest issue though was that they wouldn't serve me breakfast - I think because I said my Spanish isn't that good. While others in the restaurant were served by the waiter with the greatest of care, I was ignored and had to get my own food/drinks. I was the first one in there in the morning and watched as others who came after me were offered juice, bread, eggs, coffee, etc. For me: nothing. What I got, I had to get up and get for myself. Eggs and toast were only for those who could order from the kitchen. The night manager said he would do something to make me quite happy about my stay when I spoke to him about it in the evening. The result: nothing. I had no interest in breakfast the next morning. The waiter did offer to help me with my bags the next morning.

Small hotel. Breakfast could have fresh fruit. Staff was great. A little out of the way - it is a walk from the Central part of Poblado but worth it.
