My stay was just smooth

I loved this place! It's a very quiet neighborhood, near the train station. The accommodation services are very good. I highly recommend.

Loved the location near the train station and local buses and taxis available. Local shopping and food outlets are within a few minutes walk as well as a local park. This is not my first time staying here and I have repeatedly extended my stay. I like the room I stayed, I did not realise though there is an old open chimney behind the chest of drawers! Met the cleaner, Jane, who was very helpful and friendly. Bed is comfortable and sheets are clean. Kitchen is fully functional and grateful for the cupboards and fridge layout for each rooms in the house. As long as the rules are kept and the respect for each other is maintained, then stay can be quite pleasant. Met some of the fellow travelers and enjoyed their company. 🙂

There was a bit of a panic when I first came in, with the smartlock.😳 It was not functioning and I could not get into my room. This was due to the battery had died down. However, this was sorted quickly by locating a replacement battery and how to change this in the smartlock with instructions given over the phone! Thank you! A fast learning curve! 🤪

The place as clean and well kept.

The front door wasn’t opening even after entering the code and Turning the door correctly. I was outside for 30-40mins trying to get inside. The host was difficult to get and when I sent him a WhatsApp message he took a while to reply and it was late so I had to jump thru the window of the room I was assigned. Thank God it was opened. (It was freezing outside and I don’t have any relatives close by) when I eventually went in the house the host did not even apologize for the inconvenience . Not even up until today. The host was not welcoming nor unapologetic at all.

House was clean all over. Big shower room, big shower, separate WC, big kitchen inc washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, oven. TV., your own space in the 2 fridge/freezers and your own cupboard to store food/things Cleaner comes. 5 mins walk to buses and Norwood Junction train station. Chairs in room. Comfortable big single bed. Easy to contact landlords, great WiFi. Tables and chairs in the garden to use.

There is no washing line to hang clothes on in the garden. Put clothes on the back of the chairs to dry, but if more than one person does washing, it could get awkward.

The location was great with easy reach to Norwood Junction Station and local shops, food outlets and transportation. East and West Croydon are easy to get to. It is a quiet residential area. Staff were very helpful. South Norwood Leisure Centre with swimming pool and gym stations is only 5 mins walk away down Portland Road ... however, I didn't have time to check this out!

You can hear the trains go...but you get used to it very quickly.

The room is clean and the most important thing is the nearby train station
