I can't say there was anything we loved about our stay from 11/21-11/27. A little background on why we chose 7 Beachwood East the house was listed as "NEW" with internet, TV's for watching, big amenity was an 8 person hot tub. That was our attention getter because our group had 6 kids ranging 12-21. The weather we knew would be chilly so the hot tub sold the house as well as being NEW. We arrived on Monday 11/21 check in time 4:00. Tuesday 11/22 we made a grocery store run for essentials including Thanksgiving meal prep for Thursday. The kids got in the hot tub on Tuesday noticed slight itchiness from one of the kids but thought nothing of it. On Wednesday evening the water level was low and began to look cloudy with a "fishy" smell. We also had experienced issues with the WiFi TV's were not working. We made a call to Vacasa which handles renting the house. The agent came out on Thursday morning, but to no avail the TV's, wifi, and hot tub were no usable. We missed the Macy's parade, all football games, and no hot tub. On Friday morning 11/25 the spa guy came around 9:30am shocked the hot tub said, "There were no chemicals in the hot tub." In his words it was nasty and wasn't even on the rotation to get treated until around 12/15. We had paid our money but was not told the hot tub just had bathwater in it. The shock lasted from Friday until Saturday cloudy water, strong smell of fish, no maintenance chemicals were added by the spa guy because the owner had them locked up with no key to access them. In the meantime, a guy came about the Wifi, found the modem on the top floor which is not accessible to renters only the owners. He flipped the modem switch and like magic we had TV and internet on Friday around 11:00am. That could have been fixed on Thursday. Around 11:30am on Friday the hot water went out in the master bath and back right corner bedroom. This was confirmed from the same guy who fixed the Wifi but said he wasn't a plumber. So no hot water in above bathrooms when we departed the home on Sunday 11/27. Minor details but major for renters no grill brush for the grill, no hose to even put water in the hot tub because we were told there was a "special kind of water " that had to be added. This was false after confirming with the spa guy that hose water is required. The glass doors to deck have locks but extremely hard to get the doors locked. I don't usually like to be negative but I don't want another family to endure this on vacation. The house is new but was not ready for renters and should not have been put on the website until the house was ready.
