The place was ideal short walk to town breakfast was very good I would book it again and at a reasonable price

The owners were really sweet and made sure everything was alright with the room and breakfast. They also handed me a fresh chocolate muffin right when I got there! I found the location really convenient for walking into town or to the bus station, it was pretty close but still far away enough to be really quiet/peaceful at night.

I've stayed in a lot of B&Bs. This is the best with 10/10 hygiene, clearness, comfort of room size and beds and the delicious breakfast served to your room. Mark and Paula are very kind, understanding and professional hosts. They have provided a perfect stay in the accommodation.

A great stay at Norcroft Guest House. Very clean room and pleasant, friendly service from my hosts. I enjoyed my breakfast very much. I appreciated the good variety of quality teas and coffees on the room tray- a nice extra touch. Also, when I arrived my host had just been baking and offered me some to try, which I thought was lovely. Thank you.

The Norcroft Guest House was an ideal place to stay in Penrith. Close to the town centre with clean, comfortable rooms and vegetarian or vegan breakfast delivered to your room at an agreed time. Free wifi and off street free parking are also included. Mark and Paula were friendly amenable hosts. We will be back

Had a great stay at the Norcroft. It’s a traditional B&B and the owners are friendly and welcoming. Perfect quiet residential setting and only a short walk to the high street.

Mark and Julia are very friendly and helpful and our twin room was excellent value for money. As new hosts I’m sure they plan a few more refinements for a perfect stay!

Great location near town centre but quiet residential area.

We stayed 3 nights at Norcroft and we were very happy with our choice of accommodation. The room and bathroom were well adequate with the bed linen and towels very clean. Mark and Paula were very dedicated and friendly hosts. The breakfast arrangement was second to none! I am confident recommending Norcroft Guest house for anyone visiting the Lake District area. Thank you Paula and Mark for our stay with you!

This was a perfect stopover on our way to Scotland. Very comfortable clean room. Welcoming hosts including providing freshly baked muffins! Secure storage for our bikes and a private car park. Within an easy walk of town to find somewhere to eat. Brilliant!

Staff very kind and helpful

Great place with secure parking for the motorikes, ie behind locked gate. Great hosts, breakfast served in bedrooms BUT be warned, this is a Veggie BnB so no decent sausages, bacon or black pudding ! I double cheked Hotel.com and NO mention of this. That said, I would definately recommend, lovely people.

Perfect place to stay for myself. Room was everything i wanted for 1 night. I was handed Banana bread on arrival which was a nice surprise and breakfast in the room the next morning was excellent. Would definitely visit again.

A lovely property and lovely people. Very comfortable bed. Everywhere was very clean. There was perhaps some need for improvements in some areas but only standard wear and tear. Nothing to spoil the stay. Far enough out of town to be away from any noise but close enough to access on foot. A good base for Ullswater and other lake district locations. Overall I would definitely recommend this place for comfort and convenience oh and a cracking breakfast 😊

The hosts were very friendly and professional. The rooms were clean and beds very comfortable. The breakfasts were tasty, hot and served to our rooms on time. The private, secure parking was an added bonus.

Excellent room, presentable & clean with an ideal table for sitting at for breakfast. Bright, light and could get a decent breeze in. The hosts are the making of the place with how lovely & accommodating they are with dietey requirements and flexible with arrivals and departures. Having breakfast served to your room at a time you choose! Excellent breakfasts too. Absolutely ideal and fantastic value for money.

Stayed for one night as part of my walking trip. Was instantly made to feel comfortable and was offered a piece of cake, which was a lovely touch. The room was clean and large for a single and the bathroom was great. Breakfast was also lovely. For the price, it was excellent value.

Having arrived after a long day on the road, we were welcomed by both the owners and offered a delicious slice of cake which was amazing! The Room was immaculate, clean and tidy with plenty of space. The Guest House is in the perfect location that its quiet and within easy walking distance to the Town Centre which has plenty of restaurants on offer. The Breakfast was delicious and was delivered straight to your room. The Owners are both very kind, attentive & they are excellent hosts.
