The beds and showers and towels were very clean. The garden very large and pleasant. The tea and instant coffee is nice to have as well.

The kitchen had dead ants in some closets and some products that were already 3-4 years expired. There was no real way of washing as there were no sponges or real dishwashing soap. So the dishes that we had to use were just water washed by previous guests based on how they were when we got there. The biggest ring on the cooker didn't work. The rooms, especially the one with the double bed, does need more air coming through when no one is there as it smelled very much of humidity. The terrace is great but unfortunately with quite dirty chairs and terrace itself, with bird poo ;). It would be nice if the person who takes care of the property before the guests arrive, clean it. The bbq is a great idea but it took about 30 minutes of cleaning in order to be able to cook anything on it. Towards the end of the visit we had ants inside the bathroom and shower, even though we didn't bring any food or food remains inside it. The price was good and the reviews were great which is why we booked it, but I think that for any price, if the owners expect a clean kitchen, it probably should be really clean when the guests arrive and also to have at least a sponge with a dish washing fluid to be able to clean before leaving. The age of the property didn't disturb us at all but it would benefit from a slight make over.
