The Breakfast was pretty ordinary and uninspired

The property being surrounded a Tennis court wher professionals are training 16 hours a day is a little overwhleming and certainly becomaes a problem at times.

Breakfast was simple egg and toast, coffee plus a banana - enjoyable and included in accommodation price. Great bonus!

Staff was at first a bit unfriendly but later more cheerful and helpful.

The location is the best thing of this hotel. If you are catholic-religious-woman its your place too. It has a tennis court at his side.

Its a old building and old room, the WC is very simple and not so clean, the staff dont know english language very well. The breakfast doesnt have quality…

I think that for the location the price was perhaps appropriate. The room's cleanliness was adequate, given the limited means. The staff were well behaved and available when needed. The privacy offered and the prime location is perhaps the only draw of this property. It is difficult to find a more prime location in Kolkata. Given that I had come with my elderly mother, the proximity to vehicles and restaurants was well appreciated.

The breakfast was limited and extremely frugal and unchanging (4 slices of bread, one banana, one boiled egg and one sachet of jam) with little or no warm beverage-- adequate for a backpacker's lodge, perhaps. The premises were very poorly maintained with stuffed mattresses under the stairs, unclean sealed windows and bathroom windows that cannot be closed at the ground floor. The bed linen was very modest and not changed during the stay. The quilts stank and were not usable. There was no utensil, plates or glasses in the room. There was an electric kettle with no tea kit. There was one small soap provided on the first day, nothing thereafter. The entrance to the property is dangerously ill-maintained and dirty. On the first night there was no electricity from 1.30 a.m. to 6.30 a.m. There was neither any backup or ventilation in Kolkata summer, nor was any light or candle provided. One found out that it was a phase that had tripped. Since no WiFi is provided only the phone was a welcome companion through the sleepless, grimy night.

The staff were extremely friendly the location was great and they provide a nice breakfast.

The rooms have no TV or en suite and are very dated. They need a thorough clean and updating and the furniture needs replacing.
