My wife and I along with 2 other couples stayed at this beautiful home for 6 days this past August. The house is stunning. Much bigger and Luxurious than it looks in the photos. The house is designed very tasteful and each room is very spacious. We had more than enough space. The Pool was refreshing during the Hot part of each day. The Kitchen is fully equipped if you like to cook. The Patio and Terrace were very comfortable. The atrium and lighting throughout the Home are out of a Magazine! Lastly, the plants throughout the outside of the home are gorgeous. The Gardener is very talented at maintaining the grounds. The location of the home is just outside of the main area of downtown Antigua, on the south side. Antigua is a 9x9 grid that is very walkable. We walked into the downtown each day. (Maybe a 15 minute walk to the Central Park of Antigua) Generally we always like to stay right outside the action to have some privacy as well as being close enough to all the stuff to do. We loved the location. We also thought the best Cafes and Restaurants are closer to this home than the downtown. La Escalonia and Meso Panza Verde were exceptional! 2 Maids, a Gardener, and a Window Cleaner come 2 times a week to help keep the house pristine and the plants thriving! They showed up promptly at 9am on Thursday and I believe they were gone in 3 hours. We barely noticed them and they were very kind. Elma (house manager) and Sonja (owner) were both responsive and very helpful!

We extended our stay in Antigua and our hotel could not accommodate us. We reserved Sonja’s house and could not have been happier with our decision. Elma welcomed us. The house is stunning. Ultra comfortable beds, great showers, fully equipped kitchen, laundry room, beautifully landscaped backyard. We used the pool daily and enjoyed multiple seating areas. The furnishings, tile work, architectural touches are first rate.

Our recent stay at this beautifully designed house in Antigua exceeded all our expectations. The property is even more stunning in person than in the photos! Nestled in a wonderful location, it offered peace and quiet in a secure area and easy access to heart of the city, making it the perfect base for exploring. The host was very responsive and helpful. The house itself was immaculate, with spacious rooms that comfortably accommodated my family. Every detail in the design and decor added to our overall experience! The property is absolutely stunning. The owner of the house is very attentive and helped me plan my trip to Antigua since it was my first time. On top of that there’s also a house manager that helped with anything during our stay. I would highly recommend staying here, you will not regret it.

Our second stay at this property confirmed what we knew from our first visit - it is a true gem. The house is architecturally striking, managing to beautifully blend Guatemalan style with design. The space is also generous - offering plenty of room to relax and unwind after your day. Location-wise, the house is a winner. It’s nestled at the end of a quiet street only 7 blocks from the heart of Antigua The host, Sonja and the house manager, Elma are both fantastic. They are communicative, responsive and clearly care about their guests’ experiences. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Overall, we were just as pleased with the property the second visit as we were the first. A unique and comfortable retreat right in the heart of Antigua. Highly recommended!
