My husband and I along with our 4 children and 2 significant others celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary and stayed at the house for 10 days. It exceeded our expectations! From the location to the amenities and all of the homey touches we all agreed that it was the nicest rental property we have ever been to! If we are able to come back in our future we wouldn’t stay anywhere else!

Our whole family, inclusive of our two young grandkids stayed at this amazing home for ten days. From the moment we entered the home, we felt welcomed and excited to stay in such a gorgeous home with ocean views and a rich family history. It’s spacious and well appointed and a very short walk to the beach where we saw several sea turtles. There are so many wonderful details that we loved about this place especially the gazebo and the outdoor shower. Our host, Mona is the BEST! Mahalo for the great memories and hospitality!

Mona was fabulous to work with and delightful. The property was spotless and well located for our purposes. The athletic club was close by and fun for our grandkids--just about any game desired was available here. We particularly enjoyed having our meals out in the gazebo. I wish we had booked an extra day or two on this island! Highly recommend this property. (Note: the en-suite bath in the upstairs area has no shower which was noted in the info on the website. This requires working around but was not a problem for us.) Kitchen was the best equipped in any property we have stayed at!!! We are grandparents who took our 7 oldest grandkids to Hawaii for a couple of weeks and this property helped us have a great start to the trip.

Beautiful home within walking distance to Poipu beach. Views of Poipu beach and sunsets from the kitchen window! This house was appointed with every item you will need when traveling. The beach accessories made this visit easy. The owner also left a beautiful welcome basket of snacks, illustrating her desire to go above and beyond. This is the best home we have rented in 10 years! I give it 6 stars out of 5.

I don't know if I can describe the things this house did for us. We are regular Kauai travelers annually for well over a decade. We are very familiar with the island.
This is the first time I've tried to incorporate my extended family, including my 75-year old father who was leaving the US for the first time since coming over from Vietnam in the late 1970s. The multiple bedrooms and air conditioning in each room made sure everyone was comfortable, the amenities were modern and updated, and the location was spot on especially if you have little ones, roughly 15-20 minutes from the keiki Brennecke Beach. The Poipu Athletic Club subscription was another requirement of ours, as we would spend our mornings at a public beach and the afternoons enjoying being catered here.
More importantly, I don't have if I can describe the memories generated by waking up at 7 AM with that 180 degree up and down the Poipu Beach coastline, or sitting out on the amazing comfortable large gazebo with a homemade dinner with your family as the sun is setting. It is truly a rarity to have the ability to have your extended family under the same roof.
In short, I want to thank the owners of this home. There will be a time when the kids are older or my dad won't be with us any longer - but we will still have the memories this home helped us make. Thank you again, these things are priceless.

The property feels like home. They provide brand name amenities for soaps/shampoos/lotions showing that thought and care are put into every detail. The outdoor gazebo is the game changer here to other rentals. All guests can be together without invading a living space of anyone. Would definitely rent here again.

I can only give this home and its host (Mona) 12 out of 10 stars! From moment we walked in we were welcomed by a thoughtful message and gift basket! We were blown away by the beauty of this home, its cleanliness and the amenities it came with! Mona was so thoughtful for all of our little needs! The kitchen and pantry were fully stocked and all needed to get were groceries! I was also very happy with the attention to detail with ensuring we had shampoos, conditioner, body was, and especially baby wash for my toddler! I would definitely come back to stay here! Mona was amazing with communication and accommodation! I cannot say enough great things! Thank you for truly making our vacation an ease and comfort with your home!

What an amazing trip and the perfect home for our family to stay in. This home is basically "brand new" and was without question, the best equipped rental home we have ever stayed at. We stayed with extended family ranging from ages 4-74 and everyone was impressed with the quality and location of this house. My children are already asking when we can book again and return. From dishes, spices, and utensils, to appliances and books/games for the kids, this property had everything needed to make the trip comfortable and fun. The property was in the perfect location and the hosts have done an amazing job renovating this property. We spent most nights outside on the covered patio and was a perfect setting with the seating and lights. Mona was a great host and very accommodating to our requests and genuinely friendly. The house was a short walk to the beach with everything needed (chairs, umbrella, snorkeling, boogie boards) to have a relaxing day at the beach and the outdoor shower was perfect upon returning from the beach. We will definitely try to stay here again when we return.

We have been staying in the Poipu beach area for more than 20 years. This home is without question the nicest and best equipped place that we have stayed. While technically the home was renovated/remodeled it is actually a new home in every aspect. The placement of the expansive wall of windows allows for a fantastic view of the ocean and the mountains. I love to cook and the kitchen is wonderful with all cooking utensils and equipment needed to prepare three meals a day for our family. The quality of the furnishings including the Weber Grill is top of the line.Our adult daughter loved the privacy afforded by the separate apartment on the lower level. We often used the membership at the Poipu Athletic Club especially the pool. Mona and Daniel are wonderful to deal with and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our 2 week plus stay. We quickly booked for an even longer stay in 2025.

New Clean, bright, comfortable large home with incredible views of the ocean and a quick walk to the ocean/beach.
Sunset on the lanai. Whale watching @ lunch. Quiet neighborhood. Interesting history. If you want to cook, this is an excellent place - great pots and pans, ingredients/spices, top quality appliances - everything extremely well maintained. The beds were extremely comfortable and the linens and towels were top quality.
This home surpassed all expectations. The host Mona was super helpful and excellent with communication.
Whenever someone ask “do you think they have x” the answer was almost always YES! I can’t recommend this place enough.

Amazingly clean, comfortable, and beautiful. The house was immaculately clean, the views are amazing, everything you need is in the kitchen. Beds are comfy, the outdoor shower rocks! Chairs and boogy boards in the garage, big beach towels, and coolers for the beach that is moments away. We loved the gazebo.

Our stay at this Poipu haven was nothing short of magical! The attention to detail and the thoughtful touches throughout the house made it clear that the owners have poured their heart and soul into creating a home away from home.
The location is absolutely perfect – nestled in the serene beauty of Poipu, we enjoyed the best of both worlds with stunning ocean views and lush greenery. Mornings began with the symphony of tropical birds, and evenings were spent savoring breathtaking sunsets from the lanai and gazebo. The proximity to the beach was a huge plus; we could easily stroll down for a morning swim or a leisurely sunset walk.
The spacious living area was ideal for our group, providing ample room to relax and unwind. The kitchen, equipped with top-notch appliances, made whipping up our favorite meals a breeze.
The bedrooms were true sanctuaries – plush linens, comfortable mattresses. Waking up to the sound of the waves and the scent of tropical flowers was a daily treat.
This rental in Poipu is an absolute gem. If you're looking for a dreamy escape with a perfect blend of luxury and authenticity, look no further. Our time here will be cherished in our memories.

Mona and her family are the most wonderful hosts!! They have truly thought of everything you could need during the stay. The home is breathtaking and within minutes to the beach. The beds are comfy, the kitchen well stocked, the halls even have little motion night lights. The gazebo was a favorite stop each morning and the beach was an all afternoon adventure. We can’t thank Mona enough for hosting us. We will be back!!

The house, the location, the amenities, and the area are all STUNNING. This is hands-down the nicest vacation rental I have ever booked. Mona has really outdone herself in creating a comfortable, relaxed, beautiful home away from home. We cooked at home a bunch and found every single kitchen appliance and instrument we could ever want (and some we didn't realize we needed!). The location was great with several beautiful beaches and great restaurants within walking distance or just a short drive away. Our group of 7 was more than comfortable in the space and my fiance and I really enjoyed snagging the basement apartment which is set up just as nicely as the upstairs house. Mona is an amazing host who was generous and communicative. Do yourself a favor and just book this place - it is 100% worth it.

House was spotless.very clean. Hostess left fresh fruit to enjoy upon our early arrival and late check out. She was very cooperative. The club amenity membership was used once and it was great. Overall great. There were eight of us on this trip.

Everything about this house was amazing! From the first contact with Mona until getting home it was simple, comfortable, and amazing! Perfect accommodations, communication, location and hospitality. The location has a view of the gorgeous Poipu Beach, and it is just a stroll down hill to catch the turtles resting on the beach. Mona and Daniel have provided everything in their home to make you feel welcomed and well cared for. The garage is an added benefit and also houses all the equipment you need for a beautiful relaxing day at the beach. When you arrive home from the days exciting adventures you can shower off in the outside shower located next to garage ( we miss this shower)! The Lanai is situated between the garage and home with gorgeous views and bbq, lighting and plenty of seating. We loved our stay and the communication with Mona and her family. We had an issue while at the house with the coffee maker in the downstairs kitchen, and Mona provided prompt replacement along with such a thoughtful gift. We look forward to visiting again.

We were blown away with how perfect this rental was for us! It was so beautiful and thoughtfully stocked with everything you will need for your stay. All the beach gear was so helpful. You immediately see ocean views from the many windows on the main level. It’s walking distance or a short drive to Poipu beach, restaurants and shops. Mona was such an attentive host with welcome snacks and even a gift for my son’s 3rd birthday! I would highly recommend Poipu Hale Ohana!

Our entire family, 6 of us, went to Kaua'i for my wife and my 50th Anniversary. The host,Mona, left a sweet note and gave us wonderful welcoming gifts. She was great the whole week; very easy to contact and very responsive.
An incredibly well-equiped kitchen, comfy furniture, motion detector night lites, AC units, .... this house has it all.
The views and sunsets are incredible from this place. We all loved staying here and I can fully recommend this house for large groups.

My family and I would rate this house and host at 10 stars if the app let us! Our trip involved three-generations (ranging in age from 3 to 70). In this lovely, impeccable, well appointed home, we had privacy as well as amazing common areas with breath-taking views of the ocean. Everything was well-stocked from the kitchen, baths and bedrooms to what we took to the beach (chairs, umbrellas, toys, boogie boards and a cart to carry it all). We had breakfast on the Lanai each morning and barbecued at night. It is centrally located with the beach down the street and good restaurants a short drive away. The club was a huge hit for everyone, especially the three year old. Mona was so helpful, excellent in communications and assistance from the moment we inquired about her house to our trip back home.

Wonderful stay in a fully-stocked, beautiful home with gorgeous views. Everything was new and well designed. The kitchen was fully-stocked with everything: excellent cookware, plastic and glass tupperware, kids and adult dinner wear, plastic baggies etc. They also provided all new beach supplies: a wagon, boogie boards, umbrellas, life vests, sand toys etc. The outdoor shower was wonderful for after the beach. The outdoor gazebo was a wonderful spot to watch the sunrise with coffee. The host, Mona, is so nice and thoughtful and easy to reach. She left a beautiful basket of fruit and food and even a special note and gift for my mother's 75th birthday (the reason for the trip). She even bought a full size crib because we were considering renting one! The walk to the beach is very short, but up a short hill on the way back so we often drove to the beaches to accommodate my mother and the kids. When just my husband and I went out, we walked, and it was no problem. Overall, a wonderful place to stay and I highly recommend it!

We stayed as a family of 7 for four nights on the south shore and wish we would have stayed longer. This property was beautiful, clean, and had anything you could have dreamed of needing, and then more! Communication with Mona was easy and she even left us a welcome package with local snacks and produce. We will forever be dreaming of this view and hopefully will be back to enjoy it in person again!

This property is just gorgeous. The host thought of everything to make our life easy and comfortable. The beach is just down the road. We went there almost every day. The house comes with all the beach accessories you need. We enjoyed eating out on the gazebo. Communications with the host were always prompt and gracious.

This home and Mona are truly amazing! Everything was amazing: the communication, quality of the house, amenities, cleanliness, views, quality furnishings, and comfort. We could not have had a better stay.
Mona took care of our every need. The home is stunning with high end finishes, well stocked, and expertly organized. We traveled with young kids and this house had everything we have at home to make our stay one of the best we have ever had! The only thing that would have been good to know is that the walk to the beach is down a hill which makes the walk back a trek for the younger and older folks in the group. We had to plan accordingly but the location was wonderful.
You will not be disappointed staying here. It's a beautiful, high end home that has everything you need and more and Mona is an exceptional host!

Words cannot even describe this property! It is absolutely stunning. Mona has literally thought of everything you could possibly need…down to the safety pins! (Which we needed. Lol). We had 9 people ranging in age from 16-79. My 79 year old mil loved the gazebo, as did the rest of us. We really enjoyed having the separate apartment downstairs. It gave me a break from my older children ;). We thoroughly enjoyed the beach equipment although we were too chicken to use the boogie boards. Mona was the most gracious host ever!!! She checked in on us a few times. We definitely felt the love. Do not hesitate to book this absolutely lovely home!

This was truly an amazing spot to stay! The host was very responsive and accommodating. The house itself was in great condition and yard was well maintained. You get great ocean views from the house and gazebo. They also have beach equipment to use and the beach is only a short walk from the property. We also used the Poipu Athletic Club which is right down the road. I don’t think there was single thing that we didn’t have at the property that we wished the host would have provided. Overall, the host has done an excellent job with this property and we would absolutely stay here again! Thank you Mona for such a great stay!
