Hostess was very welcoming Room facilities excellent. Comfortable bed. Nice quiet location.

Nice little apartment for traveling alone or with small family. Feels more homelike compared to a hotel and traveling a lot, this is something to be valued. Had all the needed facilities, but sadly at my visit the hot tub had been broken by previous guests. Other than that, everything was in place and working. Good location from transports and services in town. Very welcoming and warm hostess, that made sure everything was as needed.

The host was there to meet us and went through everything we needed to know. Although the kitchen is shared with the owners of the house, we didn't even see or hear anyone using it and we felt like we basically had full privacy there. The jacuzzi was ours to use and not shared throughout our stay. It was the perfect 2 night stay for our visit to the Mayflower and everything is within walking distance. It was very clean and tidy and we will definately be staying again when in the area. Great little find! Thankyou for being so welcoming to us.

The property was very clean. It was nice to have access to the back garden and to the hot tub. Parking was on the drive. Self check in with key in lock box.

The property is a kind of annexe to to the owner's house. There is a door that is locked that separates the owner's area to the one bedroom/living room that you rent. The kitchen is shared (on the side where you rent, giving the illusion that this space is solely yours), which I found out on the day we checked in. So yes, you may find that the owner will come in to make a coffee, or just generally come in whilst you are out, presumably to use the kitchen. I found this really strange and would not have booked had I known this prior. This can pose an issue if you want to buy food to make, as you are allocated one shelf in the fridge. Again I found it strange that the owner's own food was in the kitchen etc. I did not appreciate that when I picked three people to stay in the property (and paid for 3 adults), though one was 15 and there should not have been a charge...the only option that was there was for 3 adults, so that is what I chose. A short time after I received a text message on my phone to ask for additional £100 for the child! I said no, I just paid for 3 adults, when it is in fact 2 adults and a child. I was a bit flabbergasted by this and found this to be dishonest, especially not going through the messaging system on booking.com. If anything, we would have been due money back due to paying for a 3rd adult. In the end, we slept okay and had a nice enough time. But not enough places to hang clothes, no drawer space etc I really value privacy and quiet. We wanted to go out a bit/explore, but mostly wanted to BBQ and watch films but we were told no BBQing and there is no TV there. If you don't mind that someone may come in whilst you are out, then it should be fine for you. I am not suggesting that the host would take anything, and she was friendly, but I do think people should know it's a shared area. This may have been updated since staying in the booking info however.
