We loved our stay! The view is amazing and the location was perfect. Walk to shopping and restaurants was easy. The kitchen is small, so if you plan to do much cooking...keep your menu simple. We would definitely stay again!

We absolutely loved our stay at this property. It is just steps from all the action, yet still quiet and lovely. We travelled as a family of 4 and the space was super comfortable with all that we needed.

Perfect location just a short distance to the town centre and beach. Balcony overlooking the bay. Good job we trained for all the steps up and down plus the steepish narrow roads. Well worth it though. Would definitely book this place again. Two bedrooms and bathrooms was a big plus for us as well.

We very much enjoyed staying at this property in Positano. The view from the patio is so beautiful, The apartment was spacious and centrally located in town. We dined at host recommended restaurants and they were great. We especially appreciated the back stairs to the beach as well as the host’s help in securing a private transfer taxi to and from the property, it made it so easy. Enjoyed the property very much. Very convenient to everything you’ll need or want. Since we stayed for 25 days we found a lovely market, butcher shop and cafe all within a short walk. Our dream was to stay in Italy and live like the local Italians do and our stay in Positano and the villa fulfilled that dream. I would highly recommend staying here if your dream is the same as the one we had.

We had a wonderful stay in a perfect location in Positano. The ride transfers were arranged for us by Mme Assunta and we were oriented to the villa by Maria Dolores. We had a drive with our guide Luigi along the Amalfi Coast and stopped in Amalfi and Ravello. The accommodations were clean and comfortable and the view is unforgettable. The steps to the villa were not difficult to maneuver. We enjoyed our private walk to the beach. I would recommend this villa to anyone who wants to spend time in Positano.

This is our second time in Positano and I'm so glad I found PierPaolo's villa! It was the best 10 days of our vacation. The house was very comfortable for 5 people (4 adults and 1 child). It has a small functional kitchen (that I thought was cute and very Italian), it has a laundry machine, and among other things. We enjoyed making breakfast everyday and eating at the balcony and watching the boats from afar and hearing the birds sing.
The villa is literally right next to one of the most expensive hotels in Positano which is Le Sirenuse. It's about 1 minute going up to the main road and less than 5 minutes down to the main beach. We also had a toddler so having all the necessity that we needed for a comfortable vacation was very important to us and PierPaolo was so nice to provide us with single bed which fits in the bigger bedroom perfectly! There is a grocery store (Delicatessen) nearby, about less than 5 minute walk and a butcher nearby as well. The restaurants and shopping stores are within a walking distance. Maria-Dolores greeted and checked us in. PierPaolo was also able to set up a car service to picked us up at Naples Airport. We were able to use the same company for our 1 day excursions to Naples and Sorrento. Luigi (our driver) was so good at explaining things and ensuring we enjoyed our experience.

The views from the patio are better than pictured. We spent most of our evenings there admiring the scene. By this time in our travels, we were thankful for the washing machine and drying rack. Maria Dolores gave us a very detailed overview of the place, the map of the area and some delightful recommendations for places to eat and transportation options. Pierpaolo's driver connections were also fantastic. Both drivers were on time, drove safely, and provided information about the area. We will definitely stay here again if we ever get back to the Amalfi coast.

The location and view are even better than the photos show. Perfect for two people or two couples. Kitchen is tight but we still had meals on the terrace and easy access to beach/port, bus, markets. Nothing fancy, just perfect for a home base to explore all the coast has to offer. Maria Delores was fantastic. Loved all of it.

This property has the most beautiful view from a very large balcony!! We thought our view was better than any other view from restaurants, etc. the host was so helpful and even booked our transfers to/from the airport for us. I could not be more happy with our stay!

Nicely done apartment in one of Positano original villas. Split level. Laid out with bedrooms opening onto balcony overlooking living areas. Small kitchen and baths, excellent and large terrace with afternoon sun.

If you are planning a trip to the Amalfi Coast, you want to stay in Positano. And if you are looking for the best place to stay in Positano - this is the perfect place to stay. Easy (and private) access to the beach, restaurants and the town. All within a five minute walk. Pierpalo, the host, made sure we had a very warm welcome and communicated with us before our journey and during. He also arranged for a driver (Mr. Lupo - a great ambassador for the Amalfi Coast!) to pick us up, return us to the airport and organized a day trip for us. Just can’t say enough great things about this property - well deserving of its five star rating. Thank you for hosting us Pierpalo!

Great location, very nice views from the terrace, comfortable apartment, very nice to have ones own path to and from the beach to avoid the crowds (at least part of the way). Pierpaolo was a very friendly, gracious, and flexible host, made our stay an absolute delight! Thank you!

Enjoy breakfast from the nearby bakery on you balcony with a view of the sea and Positano and in the evening listen to music. Spacious accommodation, with private access to the beach that misses the day trippers.

I would recommend this property - the view of the ocean and the convenience to the beach, shops and restaurants! It has everything you need for a weeks stay in Positano. And the host is helpful and always responsive.

PierPaulo is a great host, his place is perfect and very spacious. There are a couple of lemon trees on the property, be sure to make some fresh lemonade from the lemons you're allowed to pick. There is a paid parking garage w/in 200+ feet of The unit. We've done the Amalfi coast w/and w/out a car, trust me, rent a car vs spending time waiting on cramped buses. Driving the coast is a great experience, if traveling light get a convertible, as long as you have GPS you'll never get lost allowing you to explore as much as you want. The views from the patio are everything you ever dreamed about Positano. The unit sits just off the main internal road for Positano, but between you and all the traffic is 20+ Feet of solid rock and walls, which allows you to sleep with the windows open to let in the cool air w/out having to hear any traffic. Be sure to skip Capri on Saturday and Sunday, way to packed. We look forward to returning to this property in the future.

The apartment is very charming with a fabulous view ! And it is an easy walk from the beach. Pierpaolo met us when we arrived and spent time giving us information & suggesting places to go. He is very helpful and proud of the villa that has been in his family since the 1800's. We wish we could have spend a few more days. It was the best stop of our trip! Ciao

We had a wonderful time - the location was perfect, the views were perfect, the villa was perfect, and Pierpaolo was the best! Being located on the main street, but no road noise, the villa was easy to find while learning our way around town and easy to find when we first arrived with our luggage. Being located midway up the cliff, it was an easy walk down to the beach while shopping and restaurants were located all around. The views were fabulous from the deck - the views were even better than pictured in the ad, the villa was comfortable and Pierpaolo was the most gracious host! If we are ever lucky enough to return to Positano, we will definitely stay at Casa Ligea again. Thank you, Pierpaolo, for making our stay truly the vacation of a lifetime!

What a great spot. We loved it. Not knowing exactly what to expect, upon coming down a staircase to the foyer between Casa Ligea and another property, the view brought tears to my eyes. For real. Our host Pierpaolo was a gem. He was warm, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. We also got to meet AnaMaria, who is the manager/housekeeper and she was lovely. The apt was charming, with stellar views, and the steps down to the beach were a nice shortcut. The kitchen was very useable, and the table for four on the balcony was a nice place for my parents and my husband and I to have dinner two of the four nights of our stay. We got a few groceries at the Delicatessen and didn't want to go out it was so beautiful. There is an adorable circular window in one of the bathrooms, in which one can take a bath with a view of the sea. We felt like we got the bargain of a lifetime, as the apt is right next door to Positano's finest hotel, the Sirenuse, where rooms start at 900$/night in May! Want to stay again as soon as possible! One comment is that my father is 78 and his knees are not so great. He was a rockstar, and managed ok, but due to the vertical climb, property may not be the best for someone that age with troubled knees. We did learn that there are porters who can bring someone up to the apt from the shore for 1-2 euros. That's a good back-up plan.

Stunning views in a charming town. Pierpaolo was an excellent host and very helpful. His driver Mr. Lupo was wonderful and we hired him for an additional day on the coast. We felt very safe in the villa and town which is very friendly to those who speak English/American English. Comfortable with all the needed amenities.

The best decision you can make is renting this house. The location couldn't get better. The rooms are set back from the road so they are quiet. The place is clean, updated and the host Pierpaolo is so kind and helpful. We used his driver the wolf for pick up and drop off from Naples. The town of Positano is fabulous!! We had excellent food everywhere, did cooking class, hiked trail of gods, went to Capri. Cafe Bruno was our wind down spot every night. We are dreaming of the day we return!!! And when we do we will stay in Pierpaolo's house again!

The apartment is at perfect location. Next to town center and close to the the beach, and not to high up the hill so walking to a shop or a restaurant doesn't require climbing up and down 1000 steps. It is spacious, cozy, and has a great terrace to enjoy the sun and great view of town and the sea. We have no doubt that even most demanding guest will find this place convenient and beautiful.
The apartment host, Pierpaolo, is a great guy who explained everything when we arrived and checked with us a couple days later if everything was perfect. It was.
Pierpaolo helped us to arrange a great private transportation from Salerno to Positano and from Positano to Naples. The driver took us along the entire beautiful Amalfi Coast, and showed/explained everything on the way.
Positano's great restaurants and cafes were at the same street and around the corner.
Our family of 3 enjoyed the apartment very much and already recommended to friends.
We will definitely check into availability of this great place when going back to Positano, that we hope soon.

My husband and I visited Positano for our 15th year anniversary. We stayed at Casa Ligea for 1 week and it was the best experience. The apartment is centrally located and is close to everything. We love the 5 minute walk directly to the beach. The apartment is very clean and has a wonderful view of the beach and town. The owner PierPaolo is awesome. He helped us get situated and recommended some excellent restaurants in the area. We will definitely go back to Positano and will stay at Casa Ligea again for sure!
