Our stay was wonderful! The house was clean, comfortable, and in a great location near the park. Although the sign and the road leading to the property were a bit hard to find and navigate, everything else was excellent!

The house is lovely, very well kept, clean, modern, and has all the necessary facilities: fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, fireplace and barbecue area. The location is terrific, about 20 min drive to the entrance to the sequoia NP.

We liked all about this place. Would recommend buying groceries on the way and not in the village itself as you are going to pay twice as much (same for gas).

The property was disappointing in many ways, several problems in the cleanliness. One of the beds was stained and we had to change it by ourselves otherwise it was too dirty to sleep. The vent on the ceiling was full of dust and disgusting. The windows were dirty. The blankets are stuck in the closet in an unorganized way, giving me an impression that they are not properly cleaned. On top of that, we had to climb up a small hill to get to the house with our minivan, and the car struggled a lot to climb up because of the narrow and uneven dirt road. Two of us had to take off from the car and walked up, otherwise our car couldn't climb up. The property didn't provide any single bottle of water. But to get a bottle of water, we had to drive +15 minute round trip to a local supermarket which closes at 9 pm. It was too late for us already. We complained about the cleanliness to the manager, Jesica, but she couldn't help us because she was 4.5 hours drive away. Overall, it was the only option when we tried to book an accommodation in the last minute, but we really regret booking it. They claim they provide 5 star experience, but it was not even close. Very disappointing.

Great location to reach Sequoia early.

What a lovely house in a great location and the deck is such a nice place to eat out on in the evenings. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here and would definitely recommend to other families.

The air flow through the floor could not be completely turned off during the night so could occasionally be heard when it suddenly ramped up.

Location is great. Just a few minutes from the south entrance into Sequoia National Park. The home itself was spacious enough for 5 and with rolling beds made the sleep setup easy with a toddler. The large deck is nice, although not very usable in the cold weather even with a heater out there. There is a nice coffee and tea setup. We definitely utilized the large fridge and there are basic necessities for cooking your own food which we liked. The property is in a beautiful setting and our little one loved seeing the family of deer. The communication from start to finish was stellar and we are grateful for that. Jesica was quick to respond to our request to let us in early as we arrived a bit ahead of schedule.

While the home is on the modern side and looks nice it is seriously lacking comfort. No rugs on the floors made for cold feet, even with socks and the heat on. Our toddler slipped and fell multiple times. The fireplace let us down - there were 2 logs of firewood left when we arrived with the ash bucket completely full. With the cold weather that was disappointing as we would have liked to use it - there were no instructions either. The heater was on but started shooting cold air overnight while it was in the 20s outside. The cleanliness level was also lacking. We had to hand wash dirty dishes to use them, as well as clean the kitchen countertop which had a greasy film. The mirrors were spotted and there was dust and cobwebs built up. With a cleaning fee like this we expected more. Of the games that were left, most were broken or missing something so that needs to get cleaned up because most of it is unusable. The master bed is extremely loud and squeaky and made for disrupted sleep. Bedding is minimal. The worst of it was lukewarm water for bath/shower. We were so excited to use the nice soaking tub but ended up getting out cold because the water just wouldn’t warm up. Lighting is extremely bright LED and makes it tough to wind down at night. No lighting control in master, only bedside lamps also very bright - we covered them with clothing to dim. Blankets provided are minimal and lightweight and more for summer months.
