The beach area was beautiful and a great place to spend the day. The breakfast buffet was delicious.

When we arrived after a long day, it was like they forgot to fully make up the room - the floor was sandy, there was a strange small blanket on the bed that didn’t cover the whole bed and not big enough for two people. no actual bed covering in the room at all.We had to argue with staff to get a duvet and it took half an hour to even get that. The rooms are poorly set out with the interconnecting door right next to the bed - you can hear everything the neighbours are doing. Not good enough for a hotel charging this kind of rate. The staff couldn’t understand simple requests in English. Customer service wasn’t good. They don’t get a signature for things you order when sitting at the beach, and multiple things we didn’t have were added to our bill, then we had to argue with the staff about it. We had kept our own lists of what we ordered so could check as we wondered why no bills were provided to us.

The breakfast menu was extensive and delicious, and provided the perfect start to the day. The staff manning the poolside/beach and the restaurants were very obliging and helpful, even though few of them understood english. As a family of four, we found the King room to be perfectly sized, and, being on the ground floor, it opened right onto the pool-side terrace, which was super convenient. The extensive shaded terraces provided lovely corners to relax, with a beautiful view across the bay towards the Yalikavak Marina. While there ample deck chairs the jetty/platforms and beach would tend to get a bit crowded as the day progressed.

The beds could have DEFINITELY been more comfortable: the pillows were thin and meager at best, and the sofa-bed in our king room was rather lumpy. While the overall room was decently sized, the bathroom was tiny and a bit awkward to maneuver in. The sauna was not working and hadn't been in working order for quite some time according to the staff at the spa. That was a shame, because in a hotel with this price tag one would expect such facilities to be available. While the breakfast was delicious, we found the restaurant food to be rather mediocre and definitely not worth the price. What was surprising was that they had a very basic coffee selection and didn't even have hot chocolate on the menu! Except for calling taxis, the concierge and reception staff were rather unhelpful in regards to information and help with any of the water-sports/excursions/activities that were supposedly available in and around the Bodrum peninsula. Being foreigners, with so familiarity with the Turkish language, this was rather inconvenient. The hotel should make sure their staff is better informed to be able to help their guests.

Our overall experience with this hotel was good. I can stay again although there are some point that needs improvement. Hotel was small and compact, all the amenities like restaurant, beach and bar were very close too each other. Our room was very good, it was very big, comfortable and clean, had a small terrace which is very nice. Beach was perfect and sea was amazing. It is very quiet and private. Breakfast was included and it was good. Service on the beach was very good. Location is good but you need a car/taxi to go to centre of Yalikavak. (It can take 20-30 mins for a taxi when the demand is high, especially in the evenings)

The food in the restaurant/ bar was not so good and tasty. Some of the items in their menu was always out-of-stock. One day their oven was not working, one day they were out of Ayran or Lemonade or another item. (this was our experience at least, I still can't understand how come simple items like those can be out of stock in a 5-star hotel) Also, cocktails were not so good. There is nobody in terms of medical emergency in this hotel, they even don't have a sick room. One day I asked for a painkiller and they said they didn't have it but if I wanted they could call a doctor.(just for simple headache).

I recommend this hotel to everyone. You will love it! Very peaceful, clean and modern stylish interior hotel. 24 hours available staff were super friendly and helpful, BIG thanks to Sera at reception and each single member of the hotel team for making me a little surprise on my Birthday! Breakfast in the restaurant was delicious with good options, staff in the restaurant and on the beach are attentive. Cozy atmosphere and every single detail made us feel like “we are very welcomed guest in the house”. The hotel is not that big and I loved it, not crowded, 1 min from your room and you are on the beach. Quiet, relaxing location, hotel is right in the opposite side of Marina, with beautiful romantic view in the evening. Just 5-10 min away with taxi costs only $4 to Yalikavak Marina area with nice restaurants and shops. There was nothing I didn’t like, everything and everyone in the hotel were lovely! I won’t even look for other hotel next time I come to Bodrum.

everything is perfect about Avantgarde it feels like home to us😍

we liked the multiple seating areas outside leading up to the water, multiple options. The breakfast was outstanding, we came in very late and the staff were very accommodating to us by bringing us glasses of wine to relax and unwind after a stressful travel day. Ferhat, Yusuf, Samet, Tarih were so helpful and welcoming. Hurşit was the best server we had for breakfast. Seda quickly communicated with us via what’s app and helped with some lost luggage as well.

The pool and the hot tub were not ready yet, both still green/brown. And breakfast service to get coffees was very slow the second day.

Bathroom is very small for size of room! For a small hotel with small beach and only 2 restaurants the price is extortionate.

Staff were incredibly freindly and helpful even with a few language barriers. Throughout the week they remembered our preferences and were able to pre-empt our requests before asking. Even after leaving the hotel and moving to another for the remainder of our time in Bodrum, when my partner left swimwear in the room, they arranged for it to be delivered by taxi. Well above and beyond and incredibly grateful. The hotel is boutique and intimate, the rooms a spacious and comfortable, food at the restuarant was very nice and well presented. My favorite part of the hotel is the private beach with deck, a great way to spend the day relaxing. It is also a nice distance from the centre being only a 30min casual stroll to the heart of Yalikavak along the bay, with several restuarants along the way to stop and eat/drink at with a gorgeous view of the sea. For the past couple of years whilst travelling, I have been very underwhelmed by the places that we have stayed, however Avantgarde met and exceeded expectation.

Just a few COVID19 restrictions but no fault of the hotel. The beds were comfortable but I will admit I do not like the doubles being to beds put together that is common across Europe.

The Breakfast was amazing, a very good selection, clean and fresh daily. The staff were amazing, kind, Helpful, and superbly efficient.

We stayed in a deluxe garden view room. Sadly we didn’t have a garden view , it’s was a tree, which made the room look dark and closed in.

The bathroom was dirty, there was mould growing in the shower. Upon arrival the aircon was set to sub-zero temperatures. We tried 3 times to get them to adjust it as it was mentally controlled (ie. the panel on the wall is useless). For a hotel of this calibre surely the temperature control should be per room not centrally controlled. Ordering room service was a challenge and the soup served very average. I would not recommend this hotel.
