I booked late via bookings.com as I was in Tauranga for a family beavement. I was contacted by Simon from the hotel requesting g my approx arrival time and to arrange for a key to be left. I advised him I would be there approx 8 pm. I was running late but he waited for me. Next morning checkout was seamless

I loved the newness of the hotel. Having just opened in September, it boasts 13 rooms. The decor throughout the facilities and in the rooms are luxury and high quality. Lovely touches throughout the suite with the espresso machine and tea facilities. You can tell they have not scrimped on anything. I especially love the light up headboard. Very unique. The location was perfect as it was only a few blocks to all the best restaurants in Tauranga. With a short drive to the beaches in Mt. Maunganui and an assortment of great restaurants! Highly recommend this hotel! Simon , the Manager was a joy to talk with and was there to make your stay memorable.

Lack of cupboard/ drawer space. Would like to see a bistro set outside the ground floor suites so you can enjoy the beautiful NZ summers.

Really lovely, clean and new. All the bells and whistles you need for a comfortable stay. The bed was amazing!

Good rooms.

Local construction works means the entire building shakes like an earthquake is occurring from 630 in the morning. Company charges additional charges outside of agreed charge rates. It states ‘ocean view’ rooms, if by that they mean looking up other peoples driveways to a small obstructed view of a marina.

The room was compact but beautiful and well appointed with a smart layout and everything you could need. The bed was EXCEPTIONAL. First time I've slept through the night since I can't even remember when. Off street parking was great, and handy location. Would definitely stay here again.

Only downside was the demolition happening right next door, shook the whole room from about 8am both days. On the upside, looks like the demo is almost done and it was during the day only. Plus the sound proofing in the room was excellent so minimized the impact.
