Very nicely decorated with thoughtful little retro touches. We loved the record player and 70s funk music. Owners were very responsive and accommodated our request for extra towels and bedding.
Being a basement apartment there is not much natural light, but that is clear in the description. It is an older building and some of the facilities show their age, but the owners have done a nice job of updating.

The location is perfect, one block walk to shops, coffee and restaurants , and once inside its quiet

Decor is very nice
Host is friendly and very responsive
Cons:
Ceiling fan in master bedroom didn’t work
Shower needs to be chalked (there are a few unsightly black spots)
