Views from the front were stunning
Room was comfortable
Only thing was the extractor fan run on after the light was turned off was a little on the noisy side and also could do with some lighting down the drive to go out at night as it’s pitch black

The place is absolutely beautiful, the pictures don't do this place justice. The host are very welcoming and the beds are so clean and comfortable.
Big lounge, so many games to play with, walking distance to eating places and tourists attractions. Definitely going back

Sladen Lodge is a wonderful property, and Lynne was a fantastic host. It’s located close to the center of Hathersage, and there’s a ton to do in the area. Lynne was very accommodating when I arrived early, and she has great restaurant recommendations. The room was clean and comfortable, and the lodge itself was tranquil and peaceful.
There’s a rail track right next to the lodge, so it might be worth bringing ear plugs if you’re a sensitive sleeper.

The staff were lovely and made us feel so welcome, nothing was too much trouble.
There was nothing we didn’t like. The only thing that we would have liked was some hand soap/shampoo and a bigger bin in the room.

Beautiful base for exploring the Peak district. As comfortable as staying in your own home with every thing you could need.
