I'm not entirely sure where to start...
Our experience at Hana Lodge was absolutely incredible, from the fabulous staff and personalised customer service they offer to our gorgeous room and facilities available to us.
The cleanliness was impeccable throughout and the in house dining experience was divine.
The grounds are stunning and along with the Lodge there is such an enchanting feel about the place.
We will be back in September and can't wait!!

Very upmarket definitely 5 star, lovely place and grounds. Everything was very classily done, thought of everything for your stay they went the extra mile.
Lovely breakfast buffet.
Bar and Restaurant were shut the nite we were there so didn't get to eat there, main town a good 20 minute drive so check restaurant is open before you stay, we didn't know till we booked in which was our only let down as booked for a special occasion and was disappointed we had to drive.

The approach to the property felt like it was out of a novel. The home was classically old yet renovated... it felt special to be there. The hot tub and sauna were perfect and the pool acted as a cold plunge.
It had the whiff of a special hosted bed and breakfast but the personality of a commercial hotel.

We had a large comfortable room with a balcony. Very new and well decorated. Nice bed. The grounds of the property are beautiful, and the staff is lovely and so helpful. I loved that they were displaying a local artist's work throughout the hotel.
Breakfast was okay. We did not eat dinner as the menu was not very deep and they didn't have a liquor license. The hotel is a bit out of the way, so it's necessary to drive 15 minutes to Rotorua. I did hear that they are in the process of redoing their menu and resolving their license issue, which would be a huge plus in the future. We would still stay here again.

The hana lodge is immaculate, and great location by the lake. Beautiful and secluded property. Darsh is simply the best. He greets you upon arrival, offers you a drink, shows you around and makes your visit wonderful the moment you step in. The lodge is quiet and has everything you need. The rooms are beautiful and they made our honeymoon special with room flowers . They take the extra mile and takes care of us.

Quiet, comfortable, great service personnel who are willing to help. Beautiful grounds, well stocked complementary snacks and drinks in the room, comfortable hot tubs, amazing made to order hot breakfast and buffet, and option to have a delicious dinner on site. We loved the exotic birds and animals on site.
Stairs, too many and too small, not safe, but we understand the elevator will be functional and pass inspection very soon that will solve that problem.

Sehr schönes Hotel inmitten einer prächtigen Parkanlage. Die Zimmer wurden kürzlich geschmackvoll renoviert und sind auf dem neuesten Stand. Das Hotelpersonal war sehr zuvorkommend und trug entscheidend zum gelungenen Aufenthalt bei. Das Restaurant bietet verschiedene leckere Gerichte und ein reichhaltiges Frühstück an.

Le séjour passé au Hana Lodge a été magique. Du franchissement du portail de la propriété à notre arrivée, jusqu'aux aurevoirs avec le personnel.
Le lieu est merveilleux, et l'accueil exeptionnel. Le restaurant, lui aussi, a contribué à nous faire passer un séjour extraordinnaire.
Si nous en avons la chance, nous n'hésiterons pas à séjourner de nouveau au Hana Lodge.
(Même en cherchant, je ne trouve rien à redire)

Location is amazing, huge section of land that is just for the lodge. Room and service is very nice. Spa/Pool well maintained....it is very a very new building.
No real complaints. Maybe a little pricy, but you get what you pay for.
