The amenities, pool, koi pond, breakfast, landscaping of the grounds, friendliness of the staff, cleanliness of the unit.

The stairs to the upstairs apartment are too steep for older people or people with knee problems, and the toilet and shower higher level than the floor and the step up is steep.

I so wanted to like this property. The owners seemed lovely, however unfortunately the photographs are deceiving; this isn’t a cute quirky villa type property. The place is stale and desperately in need of an update and a degree of modernising. I love antiques etc. but the rooms are not full of antiques but full of mismatch, worn out, yard sale furniture.The room we stayed in smelt stale and musty and was dark and rather depressing. Other guests speak of the free snacks etc provided; there are drinks, muffins and a few packets of chips, however, this property presents itself as a bed and breakfast, as there is no breakfast, a couple of unhealthy snacks, hardly compensates. On a positive, the garden is pleasant, the owners provide bikes and a washer dryer, should you want to use these facilities.

Nothing

The owners were very friendly and accommodating. The location was very close to downtown Venice. I loved how quiet it was, especially laying out by the pool. There is a huge Banyan tree that provides excellent shade in the afternoon. Everything you need for a beach day was provided. I got quite a bit of use from the sand sifter and shovel looking for sharks teeth. Also, the bikes are included and free to use. They are in excellent condition too. I loved biking into town for breakfast and then taking a bike ride through the neighborhoods to see all the beautiful houses. It was so nice not to have to drive everywhere because of how close The Banyan House is to everything. Such a peaceful retreat and exactly the place to go if you need to recharge your batteries.

This was such a beautiful place to stay. The surroundings of the house, the pool, and the garden area was such a dream place for us to stay for our anniversary. Every need was met for a trip to the beach and they provided everything you could need. It's located just blocks from the shops. They even had bikes if we wanted to go for a ride. Pool tables for a bit of fun. Our room was so comfortable and stocked with everything you could want. Including a bottle of wine, chocolates, and snacks. The owners are such lovely people. Their hospitality made it so nice. I'd recommend the Banyon House above all others!

It’s our favorite bed and breakfast!! Stunning

My boyfriend and I stayed in the Palm suite. It was absolutely beautiful! The room had everything you could need. The amenities were fantastic, and the location cannot be beat. The owner, Rosie, was very accommodating, and gave us a tour of the property. She was extremely pleasant. We would highly recommend the Banyan House! We are looking forward to coming back soon.
