What a great place to stay! Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and well maintained facility. Very nice breakfast and clean dining area. Room was very clean and well maintained.

My trip was a one day visit. The motel was clean and comfortable. I took the time to drive around the town. It is a beautiful place. The downtown area is particularly nice.

The room was just dirty the sheets were dirty the floor was dirty we got moved to a different room that bathroom floor was disgusting and they only changed our linen once and we stayed there 3 days. Should I manager just said sorry.

Hotel is very clean and staff was friendly. However, hotel operations and service can be improved. Corners were cut to save money. Ice machine on 1st floor is broken and the elevator is out of service. No water and no towels in the the gym. Breakfast service can be improved. When breakfast opens at 6am, most of the main breakfast items (sausage, eggs, yogurt, milk) run out at 7am. For those showing up 7-9am, you are out of luck. You just have what’s left since they will not refill for the day. Also, service can be improved by not having one person working behind the counter and working the breakfast area at the same time.

Great hotel if planning to go to Carlsbad Caverns. Has all the basics. A bit of noise (someone running in the halls woke us up) but good place.
Coffee dispenser is like milking a cow. It’s broken but the manager says it’s fine - just pump it 30 times to fill your cup half full! Breakfast was comical that way, watching guests help each other figure out the broken coffee dispenser that the manger says is just fine. lol

The front desk girl does not know her job I asked for a king bed, she put us in a queen room When I complained she said they had no more king rooms but the room is the same price The price doesn’t matter the bed does The manager was called and somehow they found a king room Now for the price, the room was really small the doors were not close to the room and there is very little parking

It was a basic utilitarian hotel room. Felt like we were in an industrial park. There was nothing in the immediate area except for other hotels. We didn’t see any restaurants on the way in or out of town.

Was grateful they let us check-in early. We just came from Carlsbad caverns and were very tired. But fair warning, there is almost nothing to do in the city of Carlsbad. The hotels offers nothing as well. You have to drive around town which is composed of two streets and look for a place to eat. Do not expect the usual fare. They are all mom and pop operations. When we left Wed morning, the hotel clerk, Melissa was the sweetest person ever. It was not time for breakfast but she made me TWO cups of coffee to take with me and I was so grateful to her!

Located on 2 busy streets, so it is kind of loud from traffic. A large bright light was facing the building, which illuminated our room with the black out curtains closed. The back door to the parking lot was usually ajar, with people smoking right outside.

The hotel room was comfortable and in good condition. Unfortunately the shower wall had black hair all over the back wall. The front desk clerk apologized and said he would talk to the housekeepers. The included breakfast was also underwhelming.

The hotel was in a good location! It was a nice hotel. Downside was there is no pool. My shower was a little dirty. Looked like dried soap bubbles there were not wiped off. Tile floors were a little dirty as well. Could see shoe prints that weren’t ours. Other than that everything was good

Hotel did not have luggage racks to prop your luggage on so we had to use the floor. Bathroom layout was awkward with the sink the tub and the door in the middle of both.

We saw all the good reviews so we booked it. Our room was near the front so it was very loud. We can hear people in the hallway, in the parking lot and above us. Breakfast was ok. If you didn't get there early enough expect options to be limited.

The staff were so nice and accommodating, and we appreciated having a smart tv in the room so that our kids could more easily watch shows on Netflix, etc.

The property is right next to the highway. We ended up having a room at the end of the hall, right next to the highway. The traffic noise was incredibly loud and kept me up all night. The shower curtain and shower wall had blue shampoo from a previous guest on it. I felt nauseous after breakfast. It was not worth the price.

My one and only complaint is the environmental noise around the hotel. There are a lot of semis and work trucks that drive on the adjacent streets. If you're a light sleeper, make sure you have some white noise available.

It is new and clean. Overall it was ok except that the area for breakfast is small and have only 4 set of tables and the food was all gone when we got there like 06:30 am so we just drank coffee, bread and a piece of hash brown. A staff was there in the front desk but we did not bother him. Later on he stand up and went to the kitchen and cook but we are also already done eating.
