Room was not to standard not clean made noises from the ventilation system,radiator not working 😕 overall poor

Stayed for Great North Run. You were able to get food in the restaurant. Rooms were decent enough for what I required

The room had mould on the walls and the door furnishings are loose which isnt good when in the bathroom with kids

Staff excellent, helpful and atentive.. But... Room left much to be desired. Bathroom has had the celling re-plastered but not cleaned properly ties, floor and window covered in plaster... fixtures old and tired.. Bedroom, clean and freshly painted but several lights not working / broken, kettle tripped the fuse.. bed / mattress poor Location and feel of the place spot on!

A one night stay to visit family, the room was clean and comfortable with a view of the sea and fairground….. although at night it wasn’t noisy. We had a lovely breakfast included in the room rate too. If you’re looking for a nice hotel in a fantastic location this is the place to stay. Can highly recommended.

The hotel is very well situated for a short summer break to visit family and friends, there was entertainment for everyone and over the weekend visitors to the area gave the place a real buzz. The staff were very friendly and went beyond their duties to care and look after us during our stay.

Ideal location, clean and friendly hotel.

Dirty windows,loose radiator,paper on ceiling peeling off. The staff were very though and the breakfast was nice too. Sadly i wont be staying there again.

Room given was designed for a disabled individual's and room given wasn’t part of hotel but was in a separate annex.

Liked location clean hotel we stopped in annex rooms on car park Only disappointing thing no bar later on thought be open after 10 pm

I've stayed here many times, currently having refurb work conducted so only downside on this trip was smell of new paint, but that wont last. Clean and conformable room, with sea view

We got no sleep due to people in rooms partying. Security called but not sure if they came. We went for a peaceful beach break and got the opposite. Very disappointing

Clean but building work was ongoing, reception toilets were out of order. Bed was comfy but the pillows were very hard. Great location, friendly staff on reception and bar

We were first given a room with a small double bed (4ft) this is not what I would expect from a double room. Eventually, we were moved to a bigger room in the annex however this was very hot despite using a fan and air conditioning unit. The room had no windows to open to the outside, only to a conservatory-like corridor with two radiators that were on full blast and when the sun shone in it got even hotter. Credit to the receptionist though who brought us complimentary drinks for the inconvenience.

Room was very small, no wardrobe for our clothes, was suitable for 1 night as we didn't stop in the room long. Excellent location

Stayed in 206 … pros - big room … cons - very poor recent makeover. Just looked a bodge job. The worst was the old, blood stained and extremely uncomfortable mattress on the bed. We booked for two nights but only stayed for one.

Stayed for 1 night paid extra for breakfast, had been closed due to refurbishment and we stayed day after opening. Workmen in main lobby as soon as we arrived no front desk a workman told us where to go . Our room was on 2 nd floor no lift and I have mobility issues but I took it slow the ground floor twin rooms were being refurbished. Our room had no wardrobe, just a hanging rail, no drawers to put clothes and no curtains just a roller blind it was a nicely decorated room though and was clean. Breakfast was served between 7 and 9.30 however there was a huge sign to say it was between 7 and 12 so I asked if we could come down at 10 which they said no problem we will let the kitchen know.we got to dining area at 10 it was all being tidied away so they took us through to the bar area which was a right mess with boxes and bags and keys and ppl in and out and they sat us at a freezing cold window . Breakfast was a full English that was only choice due to them being under refurbishment ( their website said work would be done the day prior) the breakfast came after waiting 35 mins but was absolutely lovely but due to us having to check out at 11 we didn't have time to eat it all was a mad rush for us to get bk upstairs and pack room up . Bar was closed and no restaurant which a lady told us day before we came , we went up rd to a lovely Indian restaurant instead. I paid 93 pound for a twin room with breakfast and hugely disappointed.

I was told it was going through refurbishment and what I saw was nice Rooms were warm and comfortable the young lady Help us on the first day which she helped use are first room was too small so she moved us to a different room bigger and better and we like to say thank you to here for make are stay nice and comfortable and she explain you got a diamond

Great hotel Great staff nice clean comfortable bed 🛌 straight across the road is the arcade and the showground the sea 🌊 and beaches ⛱️ are not far away from the hotel and the town centre is a short walk away from the hotel the hotel is closed for refurbishment until the middle of December 2023 and i am looking forward to booking a room with them in the new year 😀
