The bed linen and towels were clean and fresh, the beds had clean mattress protectors. 2 adequate sized bedrooms, double glazing and central heating. Close proximity to A96, airport and TECA complex. The property was quiet after midnight. Free WiFi.

I was aware that the property was in a street of social housing so this wasn't an issue for me but this may be an issue for some people and I wouldn't recommend it to tourists as it's not a safe area at night. Limited street parking. The entrance to the property was strewn with litter and dog mess. The shared stairwell to the flat was filthy and when we arrived there was a pool of urine on the top step. The stairwell smelled strongly of urine and this permeated the flat. The flat was dusty and the decor was tired with torn blinds and stained curtains. The cupboards in the bedroom were quite untidy with unnecessary items inside and the floor was unhoovered. The carpets were fraying round the edges, skirting was scuffed and the paintwork throughout was scuffed and marked. The living room had loose cables hanging from the TV and WiFi, the radiator cover was propped up on blocks away from the wall so was at risk of falling over. The furniture was stained and the laminate flooring was lifting in places. The beds had cheap mattresses on them with springs sticking out so none of us got much sleep. The bathroom cabinet under the sink was peeling and flaking. The kitchen has a fridge and cooking facilities, we chose not to cook as the flat wasn't very clean. There was an empty coffee jar and open bag of sugar in a cupboard - so don't expect complimentary tea and coffee that would normally be standard in an apartment. Generally very disappointing and this flat should not be offered as holiday accomodation.

Location perfect

Cleanliness was awful. The shared landing smelled of urine! The place needed a good clean had to wash filthy dishes before using. Out of date food left in fridge!

Pleasant 2 bedroom upper flat with all mod cons. Keys were in a lock box outside the front door and the combination number was texted to me by the host. Excellent location for attending events at TECA (The Events Complex Aberdeen). A mere 10 minutes walk up the road. Free on street parking outside the flat. Bus stop just along the road if you want to catch a bus into the centre of the city. The Four Mile Inn is a couple of minutes along the road and provides an economical option for evening meals. If you want to prepare your own food the kitchen is well equipped.

Although it didn't affect me, my friend who is in her mid-70s found the steep and narrow stairs from the ground to first floor difficult (but not impossible) to negotiate. Obviously there's nothing that can be done about that, but people with mobility issues should be aware of it. Also on returning to the flat in the late evening we couldn't find a light switch at the bottom of the stair. I used my phone's torch to get to the flat and switched the stair light on from inside the flat. A movement sensitive light at the bottom of the stair would be helpful.
