In general the level of cleanliness was great on the surface but the property really struggled to demonstrate deeper clean like mildew mold on window units, dank smells in the room, etc. the staff were wonderful but our family has high sensitivity to allergies, etc. and this makes it difficult for us to give 4 stars. 3 is for average given it was what I would expect in a southern town like Columbia with high humidity. On par with most older buildings yet appeared newer in construction. Also, staff service was wonderful and kind.

Room was clean, beds and linens clean. Thought it was over priced considering the TV didn’t connect to internet. Had all the options of a smart Tv but only local channels and had bad reception on it. Breakfast was awesome. Staff ignored you at the counter though unless you rang the bell. Also, thought it was creepy that there were cameras in front of the door leading into the individual rooms.

We were there for a graduation at Fort Jackson. Which means, long days out of the room, leaving early & coming back later in the evening.
The area isn’t the greatest looking but we never felt unsafe. The staff was very nice from the moment we checked in. The room was small but clean although you could tell the towels & bedding were aged. The bed was not comfortable, the mattress was sagging & we all awoke with sore backs & not just from our long days! The do have a breakfast but we left each day to get to base before he began. For the price point & the amount of time spent in the room, it’s not bad. If you are looking for more comfort, then you may want to pay a bit more. It was VERY clean & housekeeping came in daily which was wonderful!!!

We came a bit after midnight and no one was at front desk. We had to ring the buzzer many times before the guy came out. He didn’t look too happy to be disturbed. Our room was close to lobby so most night we heard the buzzer of others coming late. Walls are paper thin and we could hear everything including the snoring of the guy next door. Definitely not the place for light sleepers. Bed was very squeaky and uncomfortable so we would definitely not stay again.
On the plus side, it was clean so no complaints there.

Comfortable beds, a clean room and bath with excellent conveniences and without having to pay for extra square-footage or flashy finishes. Everything we needed at a very reasonable price. Brilliant!

We only stayed one night. The room was comfortable and clean, except for some small flies in the bathroom area. Overall, I was pleased with our stay. The only minor “negative” would be that the breakfast was mediocre and didn’t have decaf coffee. I would stay at the hotel again.

Didn’t sleep well. On first floor and there were noisy people with kids on 2nd floor. Running and slamming doors until 2 am. Dead bolt didn’t work on door. Bed was exceptionally comfortable.

After checking in, we noticed the bathroom floor wasn’t cleaned. Clear wrapping was behind the toilet, as well as dirt and pieces of chips someone dropped. It was not cleaned by housekeeping, so the manager came to clean it himself and that was impressive. He apologized for the inconvenience and went on his way. I also noticed that the last time the elevator was inspected was in 2018….and that was super scary and eye opening.

As many others, we went for basic training graduation. This hotel was close to base with easy access to the highway. I saw someone post they felt the area was not safe, a highly beg to differ. Seemed like a very safe area but a basic hotel as excepted for near an Army base. Anywhere near an army base is going to be “basic”. I was surprised at how Many restaurants and everyday shopping was nearby. Breakfast was the usual hotel breakfast, they managed to feed a large crowd for those early morning graduation goers. Staff was very friendly at check in!
Only complaint was our room was serviced oddly… as in some items were restocked while coffee was not and we were given shampoo, 2 pumpable containers of conditioner, and no body wash. I did appreciate the Dove products and make-up remover supplied. Room was either cold or stuffy. I would recommend bringing a steamer if you are going to graduation.

I put the sign on the door for maid service never happened none of the days I was there so I had a lot of trash buildup in my room. There was banging sounds over my head every morning like someone was moving furniture. This hotel looked clean, but the rooms were not clean just surface clean, needs some deep cleaning done!

Convenient location near major highways. Lots of people closing doors until midnight and starting at 4am. I’m from the south so understand humidity, but everything in room was wet feeling and you could see prior guests hand streaks on the table.

It was nice overall, there was an issue with the elevator not working properly and a critter crawling on one of the beds. I am currently seeking my $100 deposit which indicates is refundable.
